I begin my reflection on this film with this powerful final quote, which reflects the power of Sound of Freedom from any angle you look at it. This film has left a deep impression on me and has kept my heart in my throat from the very first minute. Tackling such a well-known, but still taboo subject as sex trafficking is a challenge, and Sound of Freedom tackles it in a courageous way. Many of us know that this terrible reality exists, but do we really talk about it?
Comienzo mi reflexión sobre esta película con esta impactante cita final, que refleja el poder de Sonido de Libertad desde cualquier ángulo que se mire. Esta película ha dejado una huella profunda en mí y ha mantenido mi corazón encogido desde el primer minuto. Abordar un tema tan conocido, pero aún tabú como el tráfico sexual es un desafío, y Sonido de Libertad lo enfrenta de manera valiente. Muchos de nosotros sabemos que esta terrible realidad existe, pero ¿realmente hablamos de ello?
The Shocking Silence of Reality:
As I recorded my impressions as I left the movie theater, I still felt a deep shock. At times, my voice cracked, and I realize there were many more important things I wish I had shared.
From the beginning of the movie, when we are introduced to the story, I was hesitant. I didn't understand how anyone could be so naïve as to leave their children with strangers. However, I quickly realized that reality trumps fiction, and the story that unfolds on screen is not so far removed from the experience of those who have suffered the scourge of human trafficking.
El Impactante Silencio de la Realidad:
Mientras grababa mis impresiones al salir de la sala de cine, aún sentía una profunda conmoción. En ocasiones, mi voz se quebraba, y me doy cuenta de que había muchas más cosas importantes que desearía haber compartido.
Desde el principio de la película, cuando se nos presenta la historia, me encontraba dubitativa. No entendía cómo alguien podía ser tan ingenuo como para dejar a sus hijos con desconocidos. Sin embargo, rápidamente comprendí que la realidad supera la ficción, y la historia que se desarrolla en la pantalla no está tan alejada de la experiencia de aquellos que han sufrido el flagelo del tráfico de personas.
A Script of Eloquent Silences:
One of the aspects that impressed me most about Sound of Freedom was its exceptionally well-crafted script. There were moments of silence that felt necessary, moments where the images spoke louder than any dialogue. This, without a doubt, was a key part of the film's impact.
To fill those moments when the characters didn't say a word, music played a vital role. Although it was not an elaborate score, I am sure it will remain etched in the memory of everyone in the theater.

Uno de los aspectos que más me impresionó de Sonido de Libertad fue su guion excepcionalmente bien elaborado. Hubo momentos de silencio que se sintieron necesarios, momentos en los que las imágenes hablaban más que cualquier diálogo. Esto, sin duda, fue una pieza clave para el impacto de la película.
Para llenar esos momentos en los que los personajes no decían una palabra, la música desempeñó un papel vital. Aunque no era una partitura elaborada, estoy segura de que se quedará grabada en la memoria de todos los presentes en la sala de cine.
A Low Budget but High Quality Production:
It is amazing that Sound of Freedom was made on a limited budget. Although I know that many people collaborated in its creation, I never felt during the screening that it was a low budget film. To be honest, I have seen films with much more generous budgets that fail to reach its level.
It is paradoxical that a film that deals with such a raw and topical subject can leave such pleasant impressions. Sound of Freedom is a well-executed and carefully conceived piece of filmmaking.
Una Producción de Bajo Presupuesto, pero Alta Calidad:
Es sorprendente que Sonido de Libertad haya sido realizada con un presupuesto limitado. Aunque sé que muchas personas colaboraron en su creación, nunca durante la proyección sentí que era una película de bajo presupuesto. Para ser honesta, he visto películas con presupuestos mucho más generosos que no logran alcanzar su nivel.
Es paradójico que una película que aborda un tema tan crudo y actual pueda dejarnos impresiones tan gratas. Sonido de Libertad es una obra cinematográfica bien ejecutada y cuidadosamente concebida.

Aún no la he visto pero me llama la atención esa trama tan real y cruda, porque el tema del tráfico de personas lamentablemente no es ficción y hay que estar preparados.
Si, correcto esta es una película en la cual la realidad supera la ficción, como lo dije en el post. Creo que nunca había salido de una sala de cine tan conmovida como me pasó con esta.

I'm really looking forward to seeing it. I have read all the apolemica about the movie. The political clash between two ideologies about the message of the movie. I'm behind on a lot of movies, I hope to catch up soon.
You know, I think that those same confrontations had me discouraged to see this movie and I must confess that maybe I was a little apathetic when I entered the theater, but the emotional shock I got was great.
Without going into polemics regarding political confrontations in terms of ideologies, we must not forget that it is a very real issue that touches this film and that even at this time and at this moment crimes are being committed in terms of sex trafficking and I think that seeing that reality on screen and how many are so indifferent or profit from it, was what made me leave the theater so moved.

Great movie. I wish it had the merit it deserves, it's amazing how these things happen in front of our eyes and many people won't even realize it.
Imposible no conmoverse con esta película, pues es muy difícil pensar que la trata de personas, especialmente de niños es un flagelo que continúa sucediendo.
La esclavitud no está abolida como indican los libros de historia, sigue pasando y con los más pequeños e inocentes, que es lo peor.
Así es mi querida amiga y creo que ese es el punto clave para que está película sea tan impactante como es. Ojalá y se pueda hacer conciencia sobre este tema que muchos consideran tabú y de alguna manera se puedan crear más estrategias orientadas a eliminar el tráfico de personas y de niños y a crear conciencia en los padres.
