While tasting the coffee, I was actually making a video preparing this specialty (it lasts about 20 minutes, if you want to see it, let me know in the comments), from scratch because the coffee came in beans, just how I like it. We're talking about Hidratos coffee, a specialty coffee from Huila. What does that mean? It means it was grown in that region. The label shows that it is an exclusive coffee, and what makes it even more special is that it was given to me as a gift, brought to me directly from the source, making it even more valuable.

To begin with, I didn't have a grinder for the coffee that came in beans, but luckily I was able to solve the problem quite quickly and in a similar way to how it could be done, with a blender, haha, it works exactly the same, except that you have to leave it a little longer and move it around a bit so that all the beans can be ground better, and I say it works well for me because it's the perfect grind for my French press.

Since that was the method I used, the process was quite simple, and what I liked most is that it has a very different flavor. It's fruity but also tastes like chocolate. When I tried it, I immediately said it was like apple essence. It wasn't strong, it had a light texture, and it was savory. It was very good, although I prefer more citrusy coffees.

Wow! I was today years old when I learned you could grind coffee beans in a blender - thanks for that! It really does taste that much better freshly ground, so it's a great tip to remember. Also, I bet you had a lot of fun with that video :) Thanks for sharing.
