Pobres Criaturas (2023) - ¿Es tan incomoda de ver cómo dicen?
Esta película ha dado demasiado de que hablar, muchas las aman, muchos la odian y otros ni fueron capaces de verla completa, esto si le parece extraño ya que por más mala que sea una película nunca las dejo a la mitad y menos si es en el cine jaja
Esta historia se puede decir que es una nueva versión del Monstruo de Frankestein como premisa nos muestran como un doctor que le encantaba experimentar con cadáveres en su afán de innovar con la medicina, consigue el cadáver de una joven que no estaba completamente muerta, es decir, tenía algo de vida dentro de ella, ya era imposible revivirla, estaba embarazada y su bebé a duras pena sobrevivía, el doctor decide revivirla con el cerebro de su bebé, creando un ser completamente diferente, ya no queda rastro de lo que esa joven solía ser.
Una joven se suicida lanzándose al mar, Godwin Baxter pero su diminutivo es “God”, este es un doctor bastante peculiar la consigue y se da cuenta que no es como todos los cadáveres con los que suele practicar, se da cuenta que estaba embaraza y aún su bebé seguía con vida, así que decide salvarlo, pero la única manera de hacerlo era cambiando su cerebro, ponerlo en el cuerpo de su madre, es así como llega a la vida Bella Baxter, nos muestran como con la cirugía su crecimiento y evolución cambio, al principio era una bebe y poco a poco iba creciendo y a abrazando, bueno poco a poco no, la verdad a un nivel bastante rápido, es ahí cuando God decide buscar ayuda de otro doctor para que le ayude con su “experimento” a anotar su evolución.
God termina adoptándola por así decirlo, la ve de manera paternal y aunque lo niegue al principio el si la ve más como a una hija que como a un simple experimento. Max Mccandles es el nuevo doctor que está a cargo Bella, pero al verla termina enamorando de ella, ya que si, era una joven preciosa, el no sabía muy bien de que se trataba y porque ella tenía estas actitudes raras, al principio pensó que era algo “retraso” pero se va dando cuenta que solo es una niña encerrada en el cuerpo de una mujer.
Bella está muy interesada en conocer el mundo, explorar, ser libre, así que hace todo lo posible para que la dejen conocerlo, God no quería dejarla salir, él sabía que para una criatura como ella podría ser muy peligroso, así que si, era un padre muy sobre protector. Max empieza a dudar de todo y revisa todo los apuntes del doctor y ahí descubre la verdad de Bella.
A estas alturas de la película podríamos decir que Bella ya estaría en su etapa “adolescente” y descubre un poco de su sexualidad, lo cual llama como la “el descubrimiento de la felicidad” Max se da cuenta y le explica que eso no se hace en público y que tiene que ser más recatada en ese aspecto. Godwin al ver que Bella ya creció le dice a Max que le pida matrimonio, que él ve que ella le gusta y que esta fascinado con ella, pero con una enorme condición, solo pueden vivir juntos en su casa, así que si Bella acepta, tienen que redactar un contrato. Aquí se nos une un personaje más a la historia el abogado Duncan Wedderburn.
Duncan le parece curioso dicho contrato y decide ver quién es la dama gan valiosa para que necesite un contrato, él la consigue en su cuarto y queda flechado con su belleza, este si tiene intension de abusar de ella, ya que es lo primero que hace al verla, tocarla, a diferencia de Max, que siempre puso límites en ese sentido. Duncan le ofrece a verla ayudarle a conocer el mundo, a lo que bella con el espíritu aventurero acepta y le dice a su padre que se va a ir, Quiera o no, y que ya luego se casa con Max, pero que primero quería conocer el mundo.
Bella conoce nuevos lugares, tiene muescas experiencias y si, muchas relaciones íntimas con Duncan, aquí el le deja claro que no es nada serio que mejor no se ilusione con él pero bella está de acuerdo con eso, Bella es una persona sin filtro, así que cuando conocía a los amigos de este prestigioso abogado terminaba dejándolo en vergüenza. Bella ya no se siente tan cómoda con Duncan ya que comienza a ser bastante posesivo y bella es un alma libre, a demás él aclaró que lo de ellos solo era eso, pero Duncan termina enamorado de ella siendo prácticamente su Karma.

Mientras tanto God y Max en su tristeza por Bella, deciden continuar con el experimento y eligen a otra joven para hacerle lo mismo, solo que esta no avanzaba como Bella. Por otra parte Bella comenzó a conocer un poco más el mundo, lo bueno, lo malo, las diferencia de las clases sociales y también decide dejar a Duncan lo que lo vuelve loco y comienza a atar cabos de quien era ella realmente o por lo menos su cuerpo, encuentra a su anterior esposo y es ahí cuando nos damos cuenta porque se suicido su “Madre” y decide seguir con el consultorio y los experimentos de God, ya que se interesó por la medicina.
Es una película bastante larga y extraña, por eso el resumen no se sintió tanto como resumen, porque hay mucho que contar, hay mucho que opinar y sobre todo entender, esta película fue criticada duramente por las escenas sexuales que en un punto llegaron a ser “repetitivas” pero la sexualidad ya no es un tabú, a demás que es una clara referencia del crecimiento de bella, de su autodescubrimiento, al principio es lo único que le gusta, luego va conociendo más, se apasiona por muchas más cosas que el mundo le ofrece y así es la vida, no me parece morbosa, porque de verdad que muchas veces si hemos alabado actitudes muy malas, aquí es todo lo contrario, Bella es una persona libre, que no se deja manipular, expresa lo que siente, lo que quiere, si es una película diferente, no es para todo mundo y sobre todo no es para niños, las actuaciones son increíbles a demás que tienen tres súper actores, los colores el como mostraban esta era tan pelicular fue increíble, si admito que para mi no es una película de ver más de una vez.

It is a quite long and strange film, that is why the summary did not feel so much like a summary, because there is a lot to tell, there is a lot to give an opinion and above all to understand, this film was harshly criticized for the sexual scenes that at one point became “repetitive” but sexuality is no longer a taboo, besides, it is a clear reference to Bella's growth, her self-discovery, at first it is the only thing she likes, then she learns more, she becomes passionate about many more things than him. The world offers her and that's life, it doesn't seem morbid to me, because many times we have praised very bad attitudes, here it is the opposite, Bella is a free person, who does not allow herself to be manipulated, she expresses what she feels, What you want, if it is a different movie, it is not for everyone and above all it is not for children, the performances are incredible apart from the fact that they have three super actors, the colors, the way they showed this very movie era was incredible, if I admit that For me it is not a movie to watch more than once.
