Tenía tiempo sin ver un drama coreano romántico. Cuando veo el montón de escenas absurdas que abundan en ellos, entiendo por qué. Por eso es bueno adentrarse a verlos con otra mentalidad, y sin esperar mucho más que, al menos, entretenerte.
Aterrizaje de emergencia en tu corazón, con ese título tan largo y empalagoso, ya dice mucho sobre cómo va a ser la serie. Un poco masoquista de mi parte, la verdad. Pero bueno, a veces no estoy tan motivada a ver nada interesante. Requiere mucha concentración de mi parte y ahora mi mente está hecha un desastre.
Esta serie tiene 1 temporada de 16 episodios que a mi parecer se alargaron demasiado. Está protagonizada por Hyun Bin y Son Ye-Yin. El primero interpreta a un oficial del ejército norcoreano y la segunda a una famosa empresaria con muy poca suerte (o capaz mucha). La trama gira en torno a ellos dos, aunque hay un montón de personajes más que sería bastante largo mencionar acá.
I haven't watched a Korean romantic drama for a long time. When I see how many absurd scenes abound in them, I understand why. That's why it's good to go into watching them with a different mindset, and without expecting much more than to at least be entertained.
Emergency Landing in Your Heart, with that long and cloying title, already says a lot about how the series is going to be. A bit masochistic on my part, really. But hey, sometimes I'm just not that motivated to watch anything interesting. It requires a lot of concentration on my part and now my mind is a mess.
This series has 1 season of 16 episodes which in my opinion went on too long. It stars Hyun Bin and Son Ye-Yin. The former plays a North Korean army officer and the latter a famous businesswoman with very little luck (or maybe a lot). The plot revolves around the two of them, although there are a lot of other characters that would take too long to mention here.
Esta historia empieza cuando Yoon Se-ri (surcoreana) está haciendo parapente, tiene un accidente y literalmente aterriza en corea del norte. Todo esto acompañado de feos efectos especiales y situaciones que son imposibles que ocurran, como caer de un árbol gigante a los brazos del capitán de la unidad que está patrullando el área en ese momento.
Así, sin rasguños, sin fracturas, y dejándole la espalda al oficial en perfecto funcionamiento, de todas maneras (nótese el sarcasmo) es bien fácil atrapar a alguien pesado desde esa altura. En fin, intenta huir, pero se queda atrapada en ese lado de Corea, donde tiene que fingir ser una ciudadana más para que su vida no corra peligro.
El que decide ayudarla es el capitán de la unidad y el hombre más “correcto” del ejército, también el más alto y guapo, y favorecido por la trama. No es difícil adivinar cómo va a acabar esto. Dos personas viviendo juntas, fingiendo ser distantes pero encariñándose a medida que pasa el tiempo. Nada que no se haya visto en mil historias más. Lo complicado empieza cuando Yoon se-ri intenta volver a casa, porque su vida corre de peligro de muchas maneras, y porque se enamora de su “salvador”.
Así, empieza un drama sobre un amor imposible envuelto en peligros y riesgos.
This story begins when Yoon Se-ri (South Korean) is paragliding, has an accident and literally lands in North Korea. All this is accompanied by ugly special effects and situations that are impossible to happen, like falling from a giant tree into the arms of the captain of the unit that is patrolling the area at the time.
So, no scratches, no fractures, and leaving the officer's back in perfect working order, anyway (note the sarcasm) it is very easy to catch someone heavy from that height. Anyway, she tries to run away, but gets stuck on that side of Korea, where she has to pretend to be just another citizen so that her life is not in danger.
The one who decides to help her is the captain of the unit and the most "correct" man in the army, also the tallest and handsomest, and favored by the plot. It's not hard to guess how this is going to end. Two people living together, pretending to be distant but becoming attached as time goes on. Nothing that hasn't been seen in a thousand other stories. The tricky part starts when Yoon se-ri tries to go home, because her life is in danger in many ways, and because she falls in love with her "savior".
Thus begins a drama about an impossible love wrapped in dangers and risks.
A ver, la trama sí que no me la esperaba. Fueron ingeniosos al imaginar a una surcoreana abandonada en corea del norte, primera vez que veo una k-serie que sea sobre esto, además. Pensaba que era algo así como “intocable” o delicado. Me sorprendió ver este ambiente rudimentario, sucio, de escasez y pobreza, ya que estas historias tienden a ser estéticamente perfectas y muy idealizadas.
Igual no es que hayan tardado mucho en insertar la parte “linda” y perfecta de los coreanos del sur. El punto es que es bastante interesante ver cómo hacen para vivir en corea del Norte los personajes de esta historia. Lo que la vuelve mejor son los asesinatos que están ocurriendo en ese momento.
Ri Jeong-hyeok, el oficial protagonista que ya había mencionado, tiene la sospecha de que el asesino está dentro del ejército, y que si busca lo suficiente va a encontrar al culpable de la muerte de su hermano. Este toque de intriga y “oscuridad” la hace entretenida, aunque es raro de ver.
Digo que por un lado está la parte empalagosa de la serie, y por otro lado la parte donde tiene la que me hubiera gustado fuera la verdadera trama, pero, siendo sincera, solo es una historia de amor y lo demás es algo así como de relleno, como si hubieran preparado el terreno nada más para que estos dos personajes terminaran viviendo su historia de amor.
Let's see, I didn't expect the plot. They were ingenious in imagining a South Korean woman marooned in North Korea, first time I've seen a K-series that's about this, too. I thought it was something like "untouchable" or delicate. I was surprised to see this rudimentary, grimy, scarcity, and poverty setting, as these stories tend to be aesthetically perfect and very idealized.
It's not like they took too long to insert the "cute" and perfect part of South Koreans anyway. The point is that it's quite interesting to see how the characters in this story make a living in North Korea. What makes it better are the murders that are happening at the time.
Ri Jeong-hyeok, the officer protagonist I had already mentioned, has a suspicion that the killer is inside the army, and that if he looks hard enough he will find the culprit of his brother's death. This touch of intrigue and "darkness" makes it entertaining, though rare to watch.
I say that on the one hand there is the cloying part of the series, and on the other hand the part where it has what I would have liked to be the real plot, but, to be honest, it is only a love story and the rest is something like filler, as if they had just prepared the ground for these two characters to end up living their love story.
Me gustaron ciertas escenas refrescantes y divertidas donde podíamos ver a los compañeros del oficial en jefe ser ellos mismos con esta chica extraña venida desde otro mundo, prácticamente. También cuando las vecinas hacían de las suyas en el barrio, estos toques de desastre me hicieron reír un poco y relajarme.
Otra cosa que podría destacar es que mencionaran los problemas de salud mental que había tenido la prota, no es típico encontrar temas de suicidio y depresión en estas series. Presiento que es algo así como “tabú”.
A pesar del montón de personajes no profundizan tanto en la historia de ellos, aunque sí solían trasmitir de vez en cuando a la otra pareja que decidieron formar, nada más para intentar mostrar ese romance, no porque aportara suficientes cosas a la trama. Como las demás interacciones no tenían tanto sentido, las veía un poco aburridas en ocasiones.
De igual manera siento que pudo terminar muchos episodios antes, por esta tardanza me costó un poco terminar la serie. Sentía que ya no tenían tantas ideas y que lo que colocaban era cada vez más exagerado, en esas partes no dejé de exhalar profundo y rogar que terminara pronto esas escenas locas para que dieran paso al final de la historia.
Esta serie tuvo muy arraigado el concepto de destino, porque muchas cosas de las que ocurren acá simplemente son imposibles que sucedan de casualidad. Podría aceptar que ciertas cosas pasen por el “destino” pero otras ya eran demasiado. Aún así, y si voy a rescatar algo de ella, sería los momentos emotivos de la misma.
I liked certain refreshing and funny scenes where we could see the chief officer's buddies being themselves with this strange girl from another world, practically. Also when the neighbors were doing their thing in the neighborhood, these touches of disaster made me laugh a little and relax.
Another thing I could point out is that they mentioned the mental health problems that the main character had had, it is not typical to find themes of suicide and depression in these series. I have a feeling it's kind of "taboo".
Despite the bunch of characters they don't go that deep into their backstory, although they used to occasionally convey the other couple they decided to form, nothing more to try to show that romance, not because it contributed enough things to the plot. Since the other interactions didn't make as much sense, I found them a bit boring at times.
In the same way I feel that it could have finished many episodes earlier, because of this delay it was a little difficult for me to finish the series. I felt that they no longer had so many ideas and that what they were placing was more and more exaggerated, in those parts I kept exhaling deeply and praying that it would end soon those crazy scenes to give way to the end of the story.
This series had a very ingrained concept of destiny, because many of the things that happen here are simply impossible to happen by chance. I could accept that certain things happen by "destiny" but others were already too much. Still, and if I'm going to rescue something from it, it would be the emotional moments of it.
Este e uno de los pocos k-dramas que no he visto, la razón me han hecho mucho spoiler. Sé que es una serie muy buena, pero no me atrevo a verla. Por alguna razón no termino de quedar cautivado o intrigado. Habéis probado ver doctor Kim, te recomiendo verla posee tres temporadas que te atraparan por completo, también esta Encounter. La disfrutaras. : )

Mi problema con muchos k-dramas es el hecho de que los alargan innecesariamente, tienes razón cuándo dices que no eran necesarios 16 capítulos para que terminaran juntos, de paso con una duración casi que igual que la de una película, lo que hace que a uno le cueste más terminarlo. Sin embargo, no todo fue malo y puedo rescatar cosas buenas de esta serie, aunque me entristeció un poco que los soldados tuvieran que quedarse en Corea del Norte. Muy buena reseña!
Si, si, tiene sus cosas buenas, pero bueno, no la volvería a ver como otras series de este tipo que no me canso de verlas mil veces a pesar de ser muy locas. Gracias por la visita 💜
Recuerdo que vi este kdrama hace ya un buen tiempo, y lo que sigue fresco en mi mente es: la cantidad innecesaria de escenas que no aportaban nada a la historia más que drama, y las química increíble de los protagonistas. Estoy de acuerdo contigo en la duración de este kdrama, siento que la historia fácilmente pudo terminar un par de capitulo antes mostrando solo lo justo y necesario, y es evidente pues la historia si se hace pesada llegando al final. Creo que en general la trama pudo ser abordada de una mejor manera pero fue una historia curiosa de ver y más con lo popular que es dentro de la comunidad de los doramas.
