La película Osama publicada en el año 2003 no es más que una historia de la triste y cruel realidad de las mujeres y niñas en Afganistán, puedes encontrarla en Youtube con una duración de 1h 23 minutos, esta película de alguna u otra forma nos genera un gran impacto, del otro lado del mundo la vida es diferente y no todas las mujeres tienen los mismos derechos y oportunidades, entiendo que respetar la cultura, religión de otros países es algo que debemos aceptar, pero siento que en este caso se trata más de represión hacia las mujeres.

La película narra la historia de una niña de 12 años, vive con su madre y abuela, sin ningún hombre en casa que las pueda proteger, en ese país las mujeres no pueden salir sin la protección de un hombre, sumándole que deben ir totalmente cubiertas, se les prohíbe hablar con otros hombres, cantar, estudiar, trabajar, en la película la madre de Osama pierde su trabajo en un hospital debido a la llegada del régimen.

Una película que muestra hechos reales de como es la vida de estas mujeres, Osama debe tomar un rumbo diferente a riesgo de ser descubierta para poder ayudar a su familia económicamente, mientras ves la película te das cuenta que tan desgarrador e injusto es, lo más triste es que esta historia no es un hecho del pasado, sigue ocurriendo en la actualidad, algunas niñas lamentablemente son unidas a hombres mayores sin derecho a defenderse o negarse.

Una película que deja un sabor amargo, pero te da un golpe de realidad sobre como es la vida de otras mujeres que no tienen voz ni son escuchadas, algo fuerte de ver pero nos hace reflexionar sobre los derechos e igualdad, quisiera que no fuese así, ojalá algún día esto pueda cambiar. La película no tiene una buena calidad de imagen y está en su idioma principal y subtitulada al español, sin embargo logra transmitir el mensaje, en Youtube también puedes encontrar como "Niña coraje".
