Cine TV Contest: ¿Conoces a Joe Black? / Meet Joe Black
Buenos días, he aquí estoy de vuelta con otra entrada para esta comunidad enfocada en el cine, el 7mo arte. Ese que es la adicción de muchos, el punto de reposo de otros y parte del cáncer de nuestra época para otros que detestan el exceso de entretenimiento. Existen múltiples visiones al respecto, unas más radicales que otras, aunque yo en lo personal lo considero una increíble forma de transmitir mensajes, de inspirar o también de influenciar para mal. Es como un arma de doble filo.
La película que elegí para esta ronda, la conocía como "El ángel de la muerte", pero lo cierto era que ese nombre estaba mal. Quizás era un recuerdo cruzado por causa de su temática. En la que esa dinámica está inmersa.
Good morning, here I am back with another entry for this community focused on cinema, the 7th art. That which is the addiction of many, the resting point of others and part of the cancer of our time for others who detest the excess of entertainment. There are multiple visions about it, some more radical than others, although I personally consider it an incredible way to transmit messages, to inspire or also to influence in a bad way. It is like a double-edged sword.
The film I chose for this round, I knew it as "The Angel of Death", but the truth was that this name was wrong. Perhaps it was a crossed memory because of its subject matter. In which this dynamic is immersed.

¿Conoces a Joe Black? Maravillosa película, la he visto muchas veces, y siempre me quedo deseando ver más. Saturada de romance, fantasía y drama con un toque de humor negro, protagonizada por con un elenco inigualable. Anthony Hopkins, como William Parris, imposible no admirar el aplomo, la seguridad el profesionalismo en cada una de sus actuaciones que le da el sello de excelencia junto con Brad Pitt, como Joe Black, Claire Forlani, como Susan Parris.
La película inicia, cuando Williams no puede conciliar el sueño y oye voces, sin entender lo que está sucediendo hasta que un joven misterioso que parecía conocer hasta sus pensamientos, se le muestra y se identifica como la muerte, cuya misión es llevárselo a sus 65 años, Joe Black el ángel de la muerte toma el cuerpo del joven que Susan había conocido esa mañana en una cafetería del cual quedo muy impactada. Este Joe, termina enamorándose locamente de ella sin conocerla y decide llevársela también hasta que se da cuenta que ella quedo marcada por el joven de la cafetería, y desiste de llevársela, con mucha tristeza, siendo un ser eterno aprendió a conocer cosas del mundo temporal que no conocía, como; comer crema de maní, carnes, pescados y otras comidas y aprender sobre la vida y el ser humano uno de los acuerdos que tenía con Williams.
Una de las escenas que más me gusto fue cuando conoció a la Sra. Jamaiquina en el hospital que tenía un tumor, donde el imito su dialecto y se oía muy gracioso, la Sra. Estaba en su lista sin embargo la mujer pudo reconocerlo como aquel que le podía dar el descanso eterno de su enfermedad. Fue una escena graciosa y al mismo tiempo conmovedora.
Hasta el final donde cumple su misión y devuelve al joven de la cafetería a encontrarse con Susan en la fiesta de su padre, algunas incoherencias había en la película, pero es parte de la fantasía. Disfrute realmente del tema la recomiendo.

Do you know Joe Black? Wonderful movie, I've seen it many times, and I'm always left wanting to see more. Saturated with romance, fantasy and drama with a touch of black humor, starring a cast second to none. Anthony Hopkins, as William Parris, impossible not to admire the poise, confidence and professionalism in each of his performances that gives him the seal of excellence along with Brad Pitt, as Joe Black, Claire Forlani, as Susan Parris.
The film begins when Williams can not sleep and hears voices, without understanding what is happening until a mysterious young man who seemed to know even his thoughts, is shown and identified as death, whose mission is to take him to his 65 years, Joe Black the angel of death takes the body of the young man that Susan had met that morning in a coffee shop which was very shocked. This Joe, ends up falling madly in love with her without knowing her and decides to take her too until he realizes that she was marked by the young man in the cafeteria, and desists from taking her, with much sadness, being an eternal being she learned to know things of the temporal world that she did not know, such as; eating peanut butter, meats, fish and other foods and learning about life and the human being one of the agreements she had with Williams.
One of the scenes I liked the most was when he met the Jamaican lady in the hospital who had a tumor, where he imitated her dialect and sounded very funny, the lady was on his list however the woman was able to recognize him as the one who could give her eternal rest from her illness. It was a funny and at the same time touching scene.
Until the end where he fulfills his mission and returns the young man from the coffee shop to meet Susan at her father's party, there were some inconsistencies in the movie, but it is part of the fantasy. I really enjoyed the theme I recommend it.
