En el día de hoy vengo a hablarles de una película que vi por estos días, se trata de "Second Act". Esta es una película del año 2018 del género comedia dramática, la cual está dirigida por Peter Segal y protagonizada por Jennifer López, la misma tiene un guion que intenta equilibrar humor, romance y un mensaje de empoderamiento. La película sigue a Maya Vargas, una madre soltera de 40 años que trabaja en una gran tienda y que, tras presentar un currículum adulterado para encajar en un puesto de una prestigiosa empresa de cosméticos, recibe la oportunidad de demostrar que puede triunfar en el mundo corporativo. Lo que parece una simple incorporación al trabajo, se convierte en una prueba de identidad y valentía.

La actuación de Jennifer Lopez es el motor y el centro del filme. Su carisma natural y su matiz cómico le permiten sostener momentos de humor ligero y, a la vez, mostrar una gran carga emocional.
