"Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle" is more than just a blockbuster adventure movie, it is one heartwarming story of how to stick together as friends in times of problems.

The movie was directed by Jake Kasdan. The movie also took on a classic or old movie about a classic board game but this time they gave it a modern twist, not forgetting to preach about friendship and sticking together.

About the cast:
At the centre of this cinematic adventure movie were four friends in focus, and their characters were played by Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, Karen Gillan, and Jack Black.

Dwayne Johnson plays Spencer, who starts out as a shy and awkward teenager, but as he proceeds inside the game, he becomes the most confident and brave muscled up Dr. Smolder Bravestone. Kevin Hart plays the character Fridge, a high school football star, who was reduced inside the game into a very smaller stature as Mouse Finbar, a zoologist.

Karen Gillan's Martha also joins the transformation as she turns from an introverted bookworm into Ruby Roundhouse, a fearless martial artist in the fame. And Jack Black playing Bethany who was a very self-absorbed cheerleader but becomes the pot bellied Professor Shelly Oberon.

About production:
I loved the cinematography and special effects or VFX used in the movie. They were top-notch. I loved how they transported the audience from city life to the lush and treacherous landscapes of the Jumanji jungle. The action sequences weren't bad too although not top action like most action movies but it was perfect for the movie. The casts did well to bring humour in consistency to the movie. But what truly sets this film apart is its ability to combine adventure with the emotional journey of the friends.

Plot
The film opens up with four high school students who had diverse personalities and each of them had their own set of insecurities and challenges they're battling secretly. Through a set of unexpected happenings, these friends found themselves shot into a mysterious game then into the dangerous world of Jumanji. They took on avatars that are totally different from their real self. Now they must fight to save Jumanji

As these friends began tackling the various challenges within the Jumanji world, their bond began deepening, and somehow they started developing a newfound mutual understanding for each other.

Not only did the transformation bring comic relief but it also taught us valuable life lessons in friendship about understanding. Through their avatars, they learnt to understand and rely on each other's strengths for them to survive and escape the dangerous Jumanji jungle. It's a beautiful allegory for the way friendships can help us overcome our weaknesses and grow as individuals.

These friends survived the Jumanji jungle and saved it from being destroyed. Then, as the credits roll, these friends return to reality, carrying the lessons they learnt while in the game with them. Their experience in the game helped them understand each other as friends and strengthen their bond

For me, "Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle" is not just a movie to watch for fun and adventure; yes you're bound to get all that. But you'll also get a heartfelt celebration of true friendship, and self-discovery. Its plot is engaging, its characters memorable. Trust me you need to see this movie if you haven't seen it.
