We live immersed in a world of criticism and condemnation, especially towards that which is not approved by a certain group of people who do not conform to respect and tolerance as a norm of life.
How many of us have a face or a part of our life that we do not show to the rest of the world around us? That taste or that hobby, or some kind of behavior that many would criticize or label as eccentric or perhaps, bizarre. Something condemnable to the toxic world.
We call it our private life and it is in a way, that part of you, of your authentic self, whether it is a hobby or taste, that you do not want to show to the world for fear of being criticized or in some way damaged by the opinions of others who always unnecessarily and recklessly question the personal lives of others.
Vivimos inmersos en un mundo de críticas y condenas, sobre todo hacia aquello que no es aprobado por cierto grupo de personas que no se ajustan al respeto y la tolerancia como norma de vida.
¿Cuántos de nosotros tenemos una cara o una parte de nuestra vida que no mostramos al resto del mundo que nos rodea? Ese gusto o esa afición, o algún tipo de conducta que muchos criticarían o tildarían de excéntrica o tal vez, extraña. Algo condenable para el mundo tóxico.
Lo llamamos nuestra vida privada y es de cierta forma, esa parte de ti, de tu Yo auténtico, bien sea una afición o gusto, que no quieres mostrar al mundo por temor a ser criticado o en cierta forma dañado por las opiniones de terceros que siempre cuestionan innecesaria e imprudentemente la vida personal de otros.
Many unconventional tastes or lifestyles of some people, become the target of criticism or hatred from those around them, and this makes the person, in a way, want to hide it from the world for fear of being rejected. It happens a lot in real life and many toxic people who do not know how to live and let live, practice it.
Following suggestions from Netflix, my favorite platform to watch movies and series on my cell phone to distract me from the every day, I found a Korean series of the K-drama genre (my favorite) and started watching it. At the time, I wasn't caught by the initial plot and, I stopped watching it a few weeks after the first episode.
Then, after another few weeks, I picked it up again and was hooked, both because of the theme, the main character couple, and the background of the plot itself. It's called Her Private Life and I, upon giving it a chance, liked it a lot. While it is not a shocking series, I found it quite fresh, funny, and enjoyable, as well as sobering.
It is a 16-episode series, from 2019, aired on Korean television, by the TVN network and outside that country, by the Netflix platform. It is called Her Private Life and it is the one I tell you about in this post. This story takes place in the world of art, specifically, the world of paintings and everything related to them.
Muchos gustos poco convencionales o estilos de vida de algunas personas, se transforman en blanco de críticas o de odio de algunos que los rodean, y esto hace que, la persona, en cierta forma, quiera ocultarlo al mundo por temor a ser rechazado. Ocurre mucho en la vida real y muchas personas tóxicas que no saben vivir y dejar vivir, lo practican.
Siguiendo sugerencias de Netflix, mi plataforma favorita para ver películas y series en mi celular y así distraerme de lo cotidiano, encontré una serie coreana del género K-drama (mis favoritas) y comencé a verla. En ese momento, no me atrapó mucho la trama inicial y, la dejé de ver unas semanas después del primer capítulo.
Luego, después de otras semanas, la retomé y me enganché, tanto por el tema, como por la pareja protagonista y el fondo de la trama en sí. Se llama Su vida privada y de verdad, al darle una oportunidad, me gustó mucho. Si bien no es una serie impactante, la encontré bastante fresca, divertida y agradable, además de aleccionadora.
Es una serie de 16 capítulos, del año 2019, emitida en la televisión coreana, por la cadena TVN y fuera de ese país, por la plataforma Netflix. Se llama Su Vida Privada y es de la cual les hablo en esta publicación. Esta historia se desarrolla en el mundo del arte, específicamente, el de las pinturas y todo lo que está relacionado con ellas.
The setting of the plot is a museum where the protagonist works as an Art Curator, but, behind her, there is a private life that she jealously guards (for fear of criticism and rejection) and that is the one she develops as a die-hard fan of a Korean Pop Idol (K-Pop).
Sung Duk-mi, played by one of my favorite actresses in k-dramas (Park Ming-young), with her characteristic sweetness and naturalness, in addition to her beautiful appearance, gives us a very nice interpretation of a character, who in my opinion, has a lot of inner courage, because, despite having to hide that part of her life for the above mentioned, she also defends it and lives it to the fullest despite what could be criticized.
This series shows us the world of the fans and everything they can do to see, feel, touch, and platonically love their idols. In this case, the female protagonist professes adoration for a K-pop idol, called Cha Si-an, played by ONE, an actor, singer, rapper, and composer, who made a very cute character, showing the human and sentimental side, of some idols and singers of this world. I liked the image that this character gave.
El ambiente de la trama es un museo donde la protagonista trabaja como Curadora de Arte, pero, detrás de ella, hay una vida privada que guarda celosamente (por los temores a la crítica y el rechazo) y es la que ella desarrolla como Fan a muerte de un Ídolo del Pop coreano (K-Pop).
Sung Duk-mi, interpretada por una de mis actrices favoritas en los k-dramas (Park Ming-young), con su dulzura y naturalidad característica, además de su bella apariencia, nos da una muy bonita interpretación de un personaje, que a mi juicio, tiene mucho valor interior, pues, a pesar de tener que esconder esa parte de su vida por lo antes mencionado, también la defiende y la vive a plenitud muy a pesar de lo que pudiera ser criticada.
Esta serie nos muestra el mundo de las fanáticas y todo lo que llegan a poder hacer para ver, sentir, tocar y amar platónicamente a sus ídolos. En este caso, la protagonista femenina profesa adoración por un ídolo del K-pop, llamado Cha Si-an, interpretado por ONE, un actor, cantante, rapero y compositor, quien hizo un personaje muy lindo, mostrando el lado humano y sentimental, de algunos ídolos y cantantes de este mundo. Me gustó mucho la imagen que dio este personaje.
The male protagonist, Ryan Gold, the lion, as he was called in the series (played by actor Kim Jae-wook), is a retired painter who suffered emotional trauma in childhood due to his mother's involuntary abandonment. The plot revolves around this event and how it impacted Ryan's life into adulthood.
A plot that unfolds in a great way and intertwines the main characters from a very early age in their lives. Fate brings them together again as adults, and there is a whole series of events that makes the series very nice, as well as funny and sobering.
A very significant gesture in the series is taking someone's hand and not letting go. For both protagonists, it has a different meaning because of things and events that they experienced in their childhood and it relates to them, but they do not remember at the beginning. The value given to the family as support and pillar of the emotionality of the human being, regardless of social class or resources, is another of the patterns that I like in this series and in general, of the series of this style.
El protagonista masculino, Ryan Gold, el león, así lo llamaban en la serie (interpretado por el actor Kim Jae-wook), un pintor retirado quien sufrió un trauma emocional en la infancia, por el abandono involuntario de su madre. La trama gira en torno a este suceso y el cómo impactó en la vida de Ryan hasta su adultez.
Una trama que se desarrolla de una estupenda manera y que entrelaza a los personajes protagónicos desde muy temprana edad en sus vidas. El destino vuelve a reunirlos ya siendo adultos, y allí se dan toda una serie de sucesos que hace muy bonita, además de divertida y aleccionadora, la serie.
Un gesto muy significativo en la serie, es el tomar de la mano a alguien y no soltarlo. Para ambos protagonistas, tiene un significado diferente por cosas y sucesos que vivieron en su infancia y los relaciona, pero ellos no recuerdan al inicio. El valor que se le da a la familia como apoyo y pilar de la emocionalidad del ser humano, no importando la clase social ni los recursos, es otro de los patrones que me gusta de esta serie y en general, de las series de este estilo.
Parents who believe that by giving them everything of a material nature, they can substitute affection and presence as guides for their children, and those children show them the value they have for themselves, after meeting other people who teach them the truly valuable side they have in life as human beings.
Also, friendship is a value among friends who share, even as adults, their love of being fans of the same idol. I liked these two aspects.
The environment that shows the art world in the museum, as well as the world of the fans and their passion for their idols, was well characterized in very realistic and beautiful environments, typical of Korean productions of this style. The music (OST), is also composed of very beautiful melodies and well matched with the situations and environments of the series.
An emotional series, at times funny, and fresh, with reflective messages about aspects of life that happen every day and sometimes we do not stop to analyze, plus the chemistry of the protagonists and beautiful performances, in addition to the above mentioned, I think it's worth giving it a chance.
Padres que creen que dándole todo lo de índole material, pueden sustituir el afecto y la presencia como guías de sus hijos, y, esos hijos, les demuestran el valor que tienen por sí mismos, después de conocer a otras personas que les enseñan el lado realmente valioso que tienen en la vida como seres humanos.
También la amistad como valor entre amigas que comparten, inclusive siendo ya adultas, su afición de ser fanáticas del mismo ídolo. Me gustaron mucho estos dos aspectos.
El ambiente que muestra el mundo del arte en el Museo, así como el mundo de las fanáticas y su pasión por sus ídolos, fue bien caracterizado en ambientes muy realistas y hermosos, típicos de las producciones coreanas de este estilo. La música (OST), también compuesta de muy bellas melodías y bien compaginadas con las situaciones y ambientes de la serie.
Una serie emocional, en momentos divertida, fresca, con mensajes reflexivos acerca de aspectos de la vida que suceden a diario y a veces no nos detenemos a analizar, además de la química de los protagonistas y bonitas actuaciones, además de lo ya mencionado, pienso que vale la pena darle una oportunidad.
Although it may not be a famous series, it is entertaining, pleasant, and with interesting emotional content. I invite you to watch it (in case you like this genre) or it catches your attention after reading this small review, nothing professional but from my point of view as a user of this genre.
Living our life in the best way, as we really like, without being aware of criticism and, above all, without professing the same behavior towards others, is important to find true happiness.
Our private life should be a reason for respect and living it without having to hide it, but feeling happy with what we like to do, without harming others, is the best way to honor life. Thank you for making it this far. See you in the next review.
Si bien no es una serie quizás famosa, es entretenida, agradable y con contenido emocional interesante. Los invito a verla (en caso de que les guste este género) o les llame la atención después de leer esta pequeña reseña, nada profesional pero sí desde mi óptica como usuaria de este género.
Vivir nuestra vida de la mejor manera, como realmente nos gusta, sin estar pendientes de las críticas y, sobre todo, sin profesar la misma conducta hacia los demás, es importante para encontrar la verdadera felicidad.
Nuestra vida privada debe ser motivo de respeto y viviéndola sin tener que ocultarla, sino sintiéndonos felices con lo que nos gusta hacer, sin daño a terceros, es la mejor manera de honrar la vida. Gracias por llegar hasta aquí. Nos leemos en la próxima reseña.

Ay Maryyyy la visteeee, esta es uno de mis kdramas favoritos de la vidaaaa, es demasiadooooo comicooooo, lo amooooo, y me gustó demasiado ver como es en realidad la vida de esas fanaticas empedernidas de los grupos de kpop, además es muy lindo ¡Amo a esa actriz! Tienes que ver whats wrong with secretary kim! Es el que más me ha gustado de ella.
Qué hermosa reseña, es una historia de grandes aprendizajes para la vida de todos, porque así es la vida, vivimos en un mundo donde hay que saber vivir, sin enfocarse tanto en el que dirán, si bien es cierto mucha gente crítica, pero no se pone a pesar en su propia vida, tener una vida privada, que inevitablemente deja de ser privada cuando no medimos nuestros actos por quisas emoción, puede ser la diferencia.🤗❤️

Ohh, I already forgot about this series. It is on my watchlist actually, not sure why I didn't start watching it. Reading your review about it made me want to start watching it now. I have a lot of line up though on my list. Ahhh, but either way. It is a good drama. I know a lot of people love this series especially on Facebook.
Ooh, se ve buena, sobre todo por lo que oculta la protagonista. Más allá de eso, me gusta la naturaleza que parece mostrar el mensaje. La unión por motivos de un pasado doloroso, pero menos doloroso al lado de una persona que entiende lo que significa estar marcado por algún evento del destino. Me gusta el arte, todavía más si se trata de pintores. Me llama la atención lo que oculta la protagonista... en ocasiones las personas esconden gustos por miedo a ser señalados o juzgados pero, ¿por qué reprimir la felicidad? Esa última frase del post es hermosa, y estoy muy de acuerdo. El respeto debe ser siempre la base de todo.
