My Favorite Movie and Why It Means So Much to Me

My favorite movie, without any doubt, is Three Idiots. This movie is produced and written by Raj Kumar Hirani, who is well known for delivering perfect comic timing along with strong real life lessons.
Whether it is Munna Bhai or Three Idiots, his movies are true masterpieces. If you have watched them, I am sure you will agree with me.
The reason I chose Three Idiots is because it is a complete package. First of all, the comedy in this movie is clean and meaningful.
There is no vulgarity, yet it manages to make you laugh throughout. Along with comedy, the movie delivers not just one but many real life lessons.
The emotional side of the movie is equally strong. It does not focus on just one character but shows the lives of multiple students in a university.
It highlights how students are forced to face ragging, how pressure from studies and expectations can become overwhelming, and how even brilliant students with great knowledge sometimes end up taking extreme steps like suicide.
The movie also teaches us why cheating in life is wrong and why following your own passion is so important. One of the characters, Farhan, wants to become a wildlife photographer.
He finally decides to leave engineering in his final year and follow his dream. This part of the movie can inspire many people who are afraid to tell their parents what they truly want to do in life. Instead, many students follow their parents’ wishes and end up doing something they do not enjoy.
Another important reason why this movie is very special to me is the character played by Aamir Khan. His character is inspired by a real life scientist, Mr. Sonam Wangchuk. Because of this, the movie feels even more real and impactful.
Three Idiots delivers life lessons not only for students but also for parents. That is why, for me, it is an overall package, and I do not think I can place any other movie above it.
So yes, Three Idiots is my pick as my favorite movie.
