CINETV CONTEST — THE ORIGINALS : A DIVE INTO THE SUPERNATURALS
The originals, is a spin off of the vampire diaries. This supernatural movie takes us deep into the world of supernatural creatures, mysteries, fantasy and many more. It centers on vampires, witches, and werewolves. The movie with its action is amazing. It keeps you glued to your screen expecting more and more.
To summarize this movie in two words, all I would say is the Mikaelson. This is a family of the original vampire which comes back to New Orleans, their city, to reclaim their home from the hands of those who have taken it away from them and strangers. The originals teach us the values of family. The themes like betrayal, family, friendship love and loyalty infused into the story is truly remarkable
I do not want to hype this movie, but I assure you this is one Tv series I watched when I was a teenager and I must say, till date it remains one of the best movies for me.
The lead actors Klaus and Elijah will forever remain my favourite actors, Klaus has a whole lot of personalities with a lot of layers in him. Joseph Morgan pulled off the acting of this role really well. I must commend him for that. His transformation from being an obnoxious stubborn man to a man who would do anything for his family is wonderful .
Elijah on the other hand, is more of a noble gentleman but you dare not mess with him. While Klaus is more of a ticking time bomb, Elijah is calm and calculative, like the calm before the storm. Together they balance each other.
The other characters in this movie are superb. Right from the beginning of this series, the actions will keep you on your feet the entire time. The originals is indeed a world of vampires, witches and werewolves. Who can you trust? where secrets, betrayals are the other of the day. Loyalties are tested but in the end, family is the epitome of it all. The family reunion that happened at the end was very touching. It filled me with joy.
Although the first and second season were a bit slow, I understand they were just trying to build the pace. Season three was my favourite of all. Although some would argue that it was filled with a lot of millions and death. But the action is the best part of this movie. If I were to rate these movies, it would be a 10/10.
