Ok, ok I'm totally not sure if this fits the contest but it's worth the submission either way. I'm not sure if everyone is following the Johnny Depp and Amber Heard court cases but they are quits the experience to watch nonetheless.

I don't want to poke fun of domestic violence and if you or someone you know is experiencing domestic violence don't be afraid to reach out.

Growing up in my younger years Pirates of the Caribbean was definitely ranked up there with one of my favourite shoes. I'm also not the person to rewatch movies unless they are on T.V and nothing else is on.

But I recently sat down and did a movie marathon with little miss and little bloke and watched all the Pirates of the Caribbean movies.

No doubt I bet many have also been doing the same and let me tell you the movies are just as great now as they were back then. It is sad that there was never a 6th and final instalment as planned and I do hope we now get to see it re-emerge.

I'm sure Disney would be keen on revisiting the series now that the news is out that Johnny Depp was the victim and Amber Heard took a dump in his bed. That's kinda ew.

The moment I decided to rewatch pirates of the Caribbean was due to the recent court statement that Amber Heard gave on Johnny Depp having a large jar of Cocain thinking he was a user.

But it turned out it was a prop from one of the movies and an extremely hilarious scene from the movie too.

Social media has had a field day of running the scene along side Amber's statement and it reminded me how funny the films were so I decided to watch the first one again but little miss really enjoyed it so we just kept watching.

When watching the films from start to finish it provides a different viewing experience as you get to watch the characters develop and also the film.

I've always felt the third instalment of the franchise lacked something and watching it again I had that same feeling.

But from then on in the films get a little darker in nature and go on a bit more of a scary thriller type comedy. A unique franchise and let's be honest probably some of the best films of the early 2000s.

It is such a shame what happened and I remember everyone in disbelief when Amber Heard accused Johnny Depp of domestic violence and Disney dumping the star and what felt like shelving the films.

Now that the court case has occurred I don't know how I feel about it all, they're definitely a couple that should not have been together.

Haha, this was definitely a different take from what I had expected.

Way to think outside of the box.

You've got that so right, @melbourneswest - my parents were a prime example of a couple that should have never, ever been together. Chemistry aplenty - not the nice, sparkly fireworks kind, just the nuclear warzone kind.
