Ok, I don't know how I feel about this but it is all coming together now one piece at a time and pretty clear. A few weeks ago I blogged about my disappointment at Spider-man. I've been shocked in all honesty that everyone enjoyed the film. Sure it brought the whole band together again but it left a lot more open plot holes.

Either way, all the spider men unkilled everyone and saved the day because they're good kids. But my main concern was that it was as if it was a goodbye, an end.

This was mainly rooted in the fact that the ended made no sense, the entire world no longer remembered who spider man was. Ok I get that but how come they didn't know who Peter Parker was? Did the spell work on computers and technology that erased the kids whole life and school scores? Hate to be trying to get into university after that one.

Now we know it's not the end of Spider man because at the end of Venom let there be carnage and Spider Man no way home Venom is on some kind of a time jump. I never even picked up that they were in the past but it leaves even more holes because how come no one from the Avengers movies knew about Venom? Hello Tony Stark, hello S.H.I.E.L.D.

Well it has more to do with who owns Venom and its Sony so they cant have the film link into other films because they don't have the rights to it.

But what we do know is that Marvel and Sony did a deal on Spider Man movies and guess what, Sony gets to have Spider man back. Let's hope they don't ruin it.... again.

But it isn't the only Marvel characters Sony got so it must have been a great deal, I'm tipping Marvel wanted Blade back so they have done some trades because Blade is getting a reboot.

Part of that deal seems to have been Sony got Morbius and you can already see from the different cinematography it being more dark in nature it's a whole different ball game. I haven't seen Morbius yet but there appears to be mixed reviews. I am also a little shocked that they gave this one up given Blade will be joining Marvel there clearly is a story to be told between Blade and Morbius.

Given these two have already worked OK together if they ever cross paths I guess that will be a possibility.

So it is looking like Sony will join in on the Metaverse and I've already seen a few other films focusing on the Metaverse but not sure who is producing them. You can't blame Marvel for sharing the load there are literally thousands of characters spread across decades of comic books and we'd never get to see them come to life if it was solely upto Marvel.

The question that lays a head is are they going to be any good? Eternals was a complete flop in my opinion and I am not sure they are going to be able to follow it up. The ending set us up for a second run with Thano's brother but, hmm do we really need it?

Anyway, here's to the next 20 years of no original films but we get to watch all our favourite comic book hero's come to life.

Do you think Sony getting involved is good or bad? Let me know in the comments section below.

I agree with you about Spiderman being a total waste of time. I was upset after seeing it because of all the hype.

I'm a huge Marvel nerd but their movies of late have been flops. Don't get me started on Chung Lee and those other second-hand heroes like Luke Cage.

I think Sony getting on the Metaverse is a good thing. We get to relive our best moments all over again but with a different feel. Also, I'm a huge supporter of companies getting involved with futuristic ventures, especially ones that make sense like the Metaverse.
