Hola, amigos. Es un placer saludarlos. Ayer, mientras decidía qué película ver por la noche, apareció Culpa Mía. Ya la he visto dos veces, pero ayer, al no poder resistirme, la vi por tercera vez.

Siempre he sido amante del 7mo arte, tengo un arsenal de filmes y series vistas. Esta película de las que les hablaré hoy, la vi en Cuba, mi tierra natal.
"Culpa mía" es un filme español de 2023 dirigido por Domingo González (debut cinematográfico) que se convirtió en un fenómeno en mi país y según sé ahora, también en muchos más.
Cuenta con un elenco de jóvenes actores destacados como Nicole Wallace (Noah) y Gabriel Guevara (Nick), entre otros.

Basada en La trilogía "Culpables" de Mercedes Ron, originada en Wattpad, esta obra nos cuenta la historia de una pasión juvenil "prohibida", un drama adolescente en la Costa del Sol.
Sin llegar al spoilers les puedo contar que a Noah, la protagonista, una joven de 17 años, se le transforma la vida cuando su madre se casa con William, un multimillonario español. Al mudarse a su lujosa mansión en la Costa del Sol, Noah conoce a Nick, su nuevo hermanastro.

Un joven irreverente y rebelde aficionado a las carreras ilegales. Lo que comienza como una hostilidad mutua, termina en una atracción irresistible y clandestina. La relación se complica con la aparición de ciertas amenazas misteriosas y la reaparición del padre de Noah, un sujeto abusador que causó muchos problemas en el pasado.

Todo esto da pie a un desenlace donde verán secuestros, persecuciones y revelaciones de secretos familiares inesperados.
Este es un filme que disfruté mucho porque, como joven, me sentí identificada en algunos aspectos.

La química entre los personajes protagónicos es excelente, transmiten una tensión creíble, evolucionando del odio al deseo con intensidad de la adolescencia, esa etapa de descubrimiento tan bella y a la vez tan complicada.

La película combina romance 💘 prohibido (relación entre hermanastros) con thriller familiar.
Reconozco que, precisamente por haber visto tantos filmes, hubo momentos predecibles en los que no fallé, pero eso no le restó esplendor a la presentación. Algo que disfruté mucho fueron su banda sonora y las locaciones donde se hizo la filmación, sitios hermosos como Torremolinos y Marbella, con lindos paisajes mediterráneos.

"Culpa mía" tiene Récord histórico al Mejor estreno en 3 días de cualquier película no inglesa de Amazon y una popularidad mantenida entre las 5 películas más vistas en Prime durante 2023 (#1 global ese año) y en top 5 en 2024.

En fin, pienso que vale la pena verlo ya que es un drama romántico y refrescante que resalta por la química entre sus protagonistas, el derroche de pasión y una estética de lujos que nos saca, por un rato, de nuestras realidades.

I’ve always been a lover of the 7th art, with an arsenal of films and series under my belt. The movie I’ll talk about today, I watched in Cuba, my homeland.
"Culpa Mía" is a Spanish film from 2023 directed by Domingo González (his cinematic debut) that became a phenomenon in my country and, as far as I know, in many others now.
It features a cast of outstanding young actors like Nicole Wallace (Noah) and Gabriel Guevara (Nick), among others.

Based on the "Culpables" trilogy by Mercedes Ron, which originated on Wattpad, this work tells the story of a "forbidden" youthful passion, a teen drama set on the Costa del Sol.
Without spoiling, I can tell you that Noah, the protagonist, a 17-year-old girl, has her life turned upside down when her mother marries William, a Spanish multimillionaire. After moving into his luxurious mansion on the Costa del Sol, Noah meets Nick, her new stepbrother.

A rebellious and irreverent young man with a passion for illegal street racing. What begins as mutual hostility turns into an irresistible and clandestine attraction. Their relationship becomes complicated with the appearance of mysterious threats and the return of Noah’s father, an abusive man who caused many problems in the past.

All this leads to a climax involving kidnappings, chases, and unexpected family secrets.
This is a film I enjoyed a lot because, as a young person, I identified with some aspects of it.

The chemistry between the lead characters is excellent—they convey a believable tension, evolving from hatred to desire with the intensity of adolescence, that beautiful yet complicated stage of discovery.

The movie combines forbidden 💘 romance (stepsibling relationship) with family thriller.
I admit that, precisely because I’ve seen so many films, there were predictable moments I saw coming, but that didn’t take away from its brilliance. Something I really enjoyed was its soundtrack and the filming locations—beautiful places like Torremolinos and Marbella, with stunning Mediterranean landscapes.

"Culpa Mía" holds the historic record for the best three-day debut of any non-English Amazon movie and maintained popularity among the top 5 most-watched films on Prime in 2023 (#1 globally that year) and in the top 5 in 2024.

In short, I think it’s worth watching because it’s a refreshing romantic drama that stands out for the chemistry between its leads, an overflow of passion, and an aesthetic of luxury that briefly takes us away from our realities.
