What an interesting prompt for this week's challenge!
"Still Alice", starring Julianne Moore as a linguistics professor with early- onset Alzheimer's disease, is the movie that instantly jumps to mind for me.

The sad and compassionate way in which Alzheimer's is portrayed in" Still Alice" is what really got to me. The movie is willing to show the ails woeful course, but it also emphasises Alice's bravery, resiliency, and determination to maintain her identity for as long as she can.

Incredibly emotional, Julianne Moore's performance earned her an Oscar. She portrays Alice with similar complexity and delicacy, expressing both her anxiety and frustration as well as her moments of wisdom and courage. It's a performance that lingers with you long after the movie is over.

The impact of Alzheimer's on Alice's family is also brilliantly explored in the movie. It demonstrates their struggles to accept Alice's illness, how they all manage otherwise, and how they come together to support her.

I choose the movie" Still Alice" because of the way it showed a unfortunate and factual illness. This movie does an excellent job of adding mindfulness and fostering understanding of Alzheimer's disease, which is constantly misinterpreted and stigmatised. It serves as a potent memorial of the value of cherishing our recollections and present- day reality.

Let's add up by saying that" Still Alice" is a well made movie that provides a touching and informational study of Alzheimer's disease. It's a movie that asks us to consider what it means to be our true characters and how we maintain that identity in the face of adversities. I heartily suggest you all watch this movie. 🎬 🎥
