Summary :

Ella inhabits a world of magic where a fairy godmother bestows a virtue-related "gift" on each newborn child at the time of their birth. On the other hand, Ella's purported gift is obedience. When Ella finds herself in the care of several dishonest individuals, she quickly realizes that this birthright is a severe curse because she is unable to refuse to obey them.

Ella embarks on a quest to find her fairy godmother in the hopes that she will break the curse because she is determined to regain control over her life and choices. Ella must outsmart a number of unpleasant obstacles, including ogres, giants, evil stepsisters, elves, and Prince Charmont's evil uncle, who wants to seize the throne and rule the kingdom. The path, however, is not simple.

I watched it on Netflix last night, and this movie brings me back to my teenage years. This movie is entertaining and motivating, in my opinion. I find Ella to have some admirable morals, such as standing up for the ogars despite the fact that they were accused of killing Prince Char's father. I was greatly influenced by Ella's example to always stand up for those who are in need, even if others don't agree with them.

Additionally, Ella's constant attempts to express her emotions and advice to others—"Maybe you should rethink this and change your beliefs"—make it inspirational. Because she and I firmly believe that without evidence or personal contact, one cannot be able to hate a group or an individual.

Let's talk about how interesting this movie is now. I was captivated by this movie the first time I saw it, largely because of Anne Hathaway, who plays the lead role. Since Anne is such a talented and captivating artist, whenever I see her in a movie or television show, I have to watch it.

She undoubtedly added something so enchanted and angelic to the film, which I found to be very captivating. The fact that Ella wasn't absolutely perfect—and that no one should be thought of as perfect—is another factor in why this movie was so captivating. So it made me so happy to see that she had a flaw and wasn't perfect.

Ella Enchanted truly is enchanted. It is a high-spirited charmer and a fantasy that sparkles with delights, and it is based on the cherished book by Gail Carson Levine. Because it takes place in a world that is equal parts "Cinderella," "Shrek," and "The Princess Bride," there is a lot of fun to be had.

Even Cary Elwes, the protagonist of "Princess Bride," appears in it as the evil Prince Regent Edgar, who murdered his brother the king and has his sights set on the king's son, who will succeed to the throne. Hence, make that one part of "Hamlet" and one part of "Macbeth" combined.

This gives us the Cinderella story, but with a twist because Ella, who is akin to a mediaeval civil rights activist, believes it is wrong that Prince Edgar has ordered all non-humans in the kingdom to leave the city and live in the forest. Giants, ogres, and elves would all fall under this category.

For me, this is simply a brilliant movie. Brilliant casting and an amazing plot line. The actors did a fantastic job portraying their characters in each and every scene. Applause for the Ella Enchanted cast and crew members, including the directors, producers, writer, and actors.
I really enjoyed this movie.
