American Gangster takes us into the turbulent world of organized crime, where the story revolves around Frank Lucas, played brilliantly by Denzel Washington, one of my favorite actors, even though I'm Brazilian. Lucas has spent his entire life working alongside Bumpy Johnson, a powerful leader of the criminal underworld. However, when Bumpy's death opens up a power vacuum in the city, Lucas proves to be the shrewdest and most determined among the competitors, ready to rebuild his mentor's empire and win back the respect that Bumpy once had.

A bit of a cliché
