Three Ghost Movie Series With Unexpected Endings (ENG/ESP)

I know it isn't Halloween but these series reminded me so much of the Halloween contest this community organized and I remember reviewing two ghost series I've seen. I wasn't a huge fan of ghost movies until I participated in that contest, read a lot of reviews and I found myself finding more ghost movies to see.
I've been able to see three Ghost Series although, only one of them is more recent than the others. So today, I've decided to share a review on them briefly and also point out some similarities they have together.
Ghost series vary from the country producing it I must say, I've seen a ghost movie where I had to close my eyes at intervals until the movie ended and couldn't sleep that night. But these ones I'm about to review are nothing close to those kind of ghost movies so if you're uncomfortable with scary ghost movies like me, these options are awesome!
One major similarity among these three Ghost Movie Series is that, the ghosts all have a quest to finish off before they transcend finally but in the end, they gave us (the viewers) a shocking closing to their stories. Even though unexpected, it was worth my time seeing each of them and here is what I think about each of them with a brief personal plot on them.
Series One - Oh My Ghost
Released - July, 2015
Main Cast - Park Bo-young, Jo Jung-suk, Kim Seul-gi
Directed by - Yoo Je-won
Genres - Romance, comedy, drama
I had a blast seeing this series as it was a total comedy show for me, thanks to the ghost herself. The storyline could appear sad but seeing the series myself till the end, it was more of comedy than the sad plot it had, I guess it was all planned out well by the producers.
The series is about a very shy lady who sees ghosts being possessed by a ghost who is seeking for a way to transcend to her world after many years of her death without knowing the cause of her death. The ghost turned out to be so confident and very good at a lot of things especially cooking unlike the girl she possessed, this brought about a confusing nature of her to those around her.
The highlight for me in this series was when the ghost found out how she died and what happened to the young girl she had been possessing... It's an interesting one to see, I can't give it all out so you get curious to go see it yourself. I'll rate it 7/10
Series Two - Bring It On, Ghost!

Directed by - Park Joon-hwa, Myung Hyun-woo
Genres - Horror, romantic comedy, mystery
I recently finished seeing this and I must be honest that it got me scared at some point but of course, not as much as some ghost movies I've seen before it. I specially love the fantasy style of this series... Burning a cloth so a ghost could have it on? I find it really hard to believe but I loved the idea regardless.
The series is about a loner guy who sees ghosts and uses the ability to collect money from humans to fight ghosts away from them. I still wonder how that is even possible in imagination, say more of reality lol. His exorcist work led him to a young girl who has been a ghost for five years. She finds out he has something to do with her getting her memory of how she died so she sticked to him until they both fell in love with each other.
The villain in this series got me scared with his acting skills, I must commend his acting ability... It felt so real that I got scared for this victims. The end of this series was way more than I had expected after many guesses while seeing it. I'll rate it 8/10
Series Three - Ghost Doctor

Main Cast - Rain, Kim Bum
Directed by - Boo Seong-cheol
Genres - Medical drama, Fantasy
I kept the best for last on purpose, and it happens to be a very recent release in the Korean series industry. It hit recommended to me a good number of times before I decided to see and I got hanged on it from the very first episode till the end. I love how real they make the impossible things seem, and the movie taught a whole lot of lessons to it's viewers.
I have a special love for medical and law focused movie, this series satisfied my entertainment hunger so well with it's medical scenes... The touch of mystery makes it even more fun and suspenseful to see.
The storyline is about a genius doctor who went into coma and had to live in the hospital as a ghost awaiting when he would wake up. It was when he became a ghost he realized that he had been a rude and inconsiderate doctor who was too proud of his skills, he decided to make a change and everything fell in place when he could possess a rich spoilt young resident who could see ghosts. The scenes that played out after his first possession was all comedy and then to the life and death scenarios which got me on my feet.
My special kudos to the lead doctor who acted as the ghost, it was my first time seeing a movie that he starred in and I fell in love with his skills immediately. The other lead character (the rich spoilt resident) is also good with the "ignoring ghosts" acting, I can't imagine a human actually doing that, it took practice for him though.
The ending of this series was unexpected as well, it turned out to be a happy ending for me and I'll recommend that you see it first before the others hehe. I'll rate it 9/10

Sé que no es Halloween, pero estas series me recordaron mucho al concurso de Halloween que organizó esta comunidad y recuerdo haber revisado dos series de fantasmas que he visto. No era un gran fanático de las películas de fantasmas hasta que participé en ese concurso, leí muchas reseñas y me encontré encontrando más películas de fantasmas para ver.
He podido ver tres Ghost Series aunque, solo una de ellas es más reciente que las otras. Así que hoy, he decidido compartir una breve reseña sobre ellos y también señalar algunas similitudes que tienen juntos.
Las series de fantasmas varían según el país que las produce. Debo decir que he visto una película de fantasmas en la que tuve que cerrar los ojos a intervalos hasta que la película terminó y no pude dormir esa noche. Pero estas que estoy a punto de revisar no se parecen en nada a ese tipo de películas de fantasmas, así que si no te sientes cómodo con las películas de fantasmas de miedo como yo, ¡estas opciones son increíbles!
Una gran similitud entre estas tres series de películas de fantasmas es que todos los fantasmas tienen una misión que terminar antes de trascender finalmente, pero al final, nos dieron (a los espectadores) un final impactante para sus historias. Aunque inesperado, valió la pena ver cada uno de ellos y esto es lo que pienso sobre cada uno de ellos con una breve trama personal sobre ellos.
Serie uno - Oh, mi fantasma

Me divertí mucho viendo esta serie, ya que fue un espectáculo de comedia total para mí, gracias al fantasma mismo. La historia puede parecer triste, pero al ver la serie hasta el final, fue más una comedia que la trama triste que tenía, supongo que los productores lo planearon bien.
La serie trata sobre una dama muy tímida que ve fantasmas siendo poseída por un fantasma que busca la manera de trascender a su mundo después de muchos años de su muerte sin saber la causa de su muerte. El fantasma resultó ser tan confiado y muy bueno en muchas cosas, especialmente en la cocina, a diferencia de la chica que poseía, esto provocó una naturaleza confusa de ella para quienes la rodeaban.
Lo más destacado para mí en esta serie fue cuando el fantasma descubrió cómo murió y qué le sucedió a la joven que había estado poseyendo... Es interesante de ver, no puedo contarlo todo, así que sientes curiosidad por ve a verlo tu mismo. Lo calificaré 7/10
Serie dos: ¡Adelante, Ghost!

Hace poco terminé de ver esto y debo ser honesto que me asustó en algún momento, pero por supuesto, no tanto como algunas películas de fantasmas que he visto antes. Me encanta especialmente el estilo de fantasía de esta serie... ¿Quemar un trapo para que un fantasma pueda tenerlo puesto? Lo encuentro realmente difícil de creer, pero a pesar de todo me encantó la idea.
La serie trata sobre un tipo solitario que ve fantasmas y usa la capacidad de recolectar dinero de los humanos para luchar contra los fantasmas. Todavía me pregunto cómo es posible eso en la imaginación, digamos más de la realidad jajaja. Su trabajo exorcista lo llevó a una niña que ha sido un fantasma durante cinco años. Ella descubre que él tiene algo que ver con que ella obtenga su recuerdo de cómo murió, por lo que se pegó a él hasta que ambos se enamoraron el uno del otro.
El villano de esta serie me asustó con sus habilidades de actuación, debo elogiar su habilidad de actuación... Se sintió tan real que me asusté por estas víctimas. El final de esta serie fue mucho más de lo que esperaba después de muchas conjeturas mientras la veía. Lo calificaré 8/10
Serie tres - Doctor fantasma

Dejé lo mejor para el final a propósito, y resulta que es un lanzamiento muy reciente en la industria de series coreanas. Me lo recomendaron un buen número de veces antes de decidirme a verlo y me obsesioné desde el primer episodio hasta el final. Me encanta lo reales que hacen que parezcan las cosas imposibles, y la película enseñó muchas lecciones a sus espectadores.
Tengo un amor especial por las películas centradas en la medicina y la ley, esta serie satisfizo muy bien mi hambre de entretenimiento con sus escenas médicas... El toque de misterio hace que sea aún más divertido y lleno de suspenso de ver.
La historia trata sobre un médico genio que entró en coma y tuvo que vivir en el hospital como un fantasma esperando a que despertara. Fue cuando se convirtió en fantasma se dio cuenta de que había sido un médico grosero y desconsiderado que estaba demasiado orgulloso de sus habilidades, decidió hacer un cambio y todo encajó cuando pudo poseer a un joven residente rico y mimado que podía ver fantasmas. . Las escenas que se desarrollaron después de su primera posesión fueron todas comedia y luego los escenarios de vida o muerte que me pusieron de pie.
Mis felicitaciones especiales para el médico principal que actuó como el fantasma, era la primera vez que veía una película que protagonizó y me enamoré de sus habilidades de inmediato. El otro personaje principal (el residente rico mimado) también es bueno con la actuación de "ignorar fantasmas", no puedo imaginarme a un humano haciendo eso, aunque le tomó práctica.
El final de esta serie también fue inesperado, resultó ser un final feliz para mí y les recomiendo que lo vean primero antes que los demás jeje. Lo calificaré 9/10

Well, I am really not a fan of ghost movies but I do love medical and legal movies and that was why I watched the ghost doctor.... that's really nice though
I don't have much to say because I haven't watched the rest but for the second one where you said they burn cloth so the ghost should have it.... They are lucky I'm not there... The ghosts should go naked rather than wasting precious cloth..phewww

I don't believe in any 🙂 I haven't stress my head in the physical things finish, I want to rack my head for mysteries? Nop, I don't plan to... I just enjoy to see it in the movies (where anything is possible no matter how unrealistic it is).

Although it's not Halloween it's good to bring reviews of interesting series that deal with ghosts, I've seen very good Asian productions but very few series, these are three interesting series with a different approach and message, thanks for sharing your opinion.
