[ESP/ENG] Freaky Friday (2003) - Review: “de esas películas que podemos ver una y otra vez"
Hola hive, si hay algo que disfruto bastante hacer es ver una y otra vez películas que me disfruto un montón, de esas que uno no se cansa de ver y de vez en cuando me gusta detenerme a pensar el por qué me gustan tanto y por qué son considerados clásicos dentro de la cultura popular y es así como llega a esta película, por eso es que hoy les vengo a hablar sobre Freaky Friday
Freaky Friday (o un viernes de loco como se conoce en latinoamerica) es una película de comedia adolescente lanzada por Disney en el 2003, dirigida por Mark Waters y protagonizada por Lindsay Lohan y Jamie Lee Curtis. Por lo que tengo entendido esta historia está basada en un libro de Mary Rodgers con el mismo nombre, el cual a sido versionado en distintas ocasiones (siendo esta película una versión de esa misma historia)
Cabe destacar que he visto esta película desde que soy muy pequeño y cada vez que tengo la oportunidad la vuelvo a ver porque me gusta bastante, así que trataré de que la nostalgia no me number e intentaré ser lo más objetivo posible a la hora de dar mi opinión sobre esta película, ya dicho esto comencemos!
Primero me gusta empezar hablando de lo que más me gusta, en este caso el fuerte real de esta película es su premisa, porque todos alguna vez nos hemos planteado algún escenario similar y nos hemos detenido a pensar como sería vivir un día intercambiando de cuerpo con otra persona, sería una absoluta locura y efectivamente eso es lo que nos muestran en esta película, entonces siento que desde la premisa es una historia que engancha bastante así que por ahí todo bien.
Ahora si hay algo que me sorprende de esta película es la actuación de Lindsay Lohan y Jamie Lee Curtis, porque prácticamente en el 90% de la película están actuando de un persona que actúa ser otro personaje, de solo pensarlo ya se me hace complicado ahora me imagino el profesionalismo que debe tener cada actriz para que se lleva a cabo de la mejor forma y que nosotros como espectadores sintamos como que realmente intercambiaron de cuerpos, así que siento que la actuación de ambas es de suma importancia para que la película funcionara, y vaya que funcionó.
Obviamente en este tipo de películas la comedia es bastante importante para marcar el ritmo que tiene la película y me parece que la comedia en esta película cumple con las expectativas, no estoy diciendo que Sean una obra de arte o que me reí sin parar, pero siento que complementa muy bien la historia y cumple con lo que promote, si es verdad que puede llegar a caer en clichés pero no por esto tiene que ser algo malo, ademas sabemos que la comedia consiste muchas veces en darnos situaciones absurdas y ver como nuestros protagonistas asumen dichas situaciones, eso es lo que realmente desencadena el momento de humar, y siento que esta película es un ejemplo claro de esta comedia, ya que prácticamente Freaky Friday gira entorno a esto.
Freaky Friday es una película con la que crecí y que he visto infinidad de veces, en lo particular siempre que tengo la oportunidad la veo, no me aburre en lo absoluto y hay veces que me pasa que revisito películas que disfrutaba mucho en su momento pero que sin embargo después las veo de una forma objetiva y no son tan buenas como recordaba, pero con esta película me paso lo contrario porque cuando la vi de forma objetiva dije “claro, por esto es que es tan buena”.
Yo la consideraría como un clásico, creo que la mayoría de nosotros hemos visto alguna vez esta película y si por alguna razón no la has visto te la recomiendo 100%, porque aunque no es una obra maestra pues tampoco pretende serlo y en mi opinión logra su objetivo que es transmitir un bonito mensaje sobre empatía, saber que los problemas de cada persona vale y no hay que minimizarlos.

Hi hive, if there is something I enjoy doing is to watch over and over again movies that I enjoy a lot, those that you never get tired of watching and every now and then I like to stop and think about why I like them so much and why they are considered classics in popular culture and that's how I get to this movie, that's why today I come to talk about Freaky Friday.
Freaky Friday is a teen comedy movie released by Disney in 2003, directed by Mark Waters and starring Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis. As far as I understand this story is based on a book by Mary Rodgers with the same name, which has been versioned in different occasions (being this movie a version of that same story).
It is worth mentioning that I have seen this movie since I was very little and every time I have the opportunity I watch it again because I like it a lot, so I will try not to be nostalgic and I will try to be as objective as possible when it comes to give my opinion about this movie, that said let's start!
First I like to start talking about what I like the most, in this case the real strength of this movie is its premise, because we have all ever considered a similar scenario and we have stopped to think how it would be to live a day exchanging bodies with another person, it would be absolutely crazy and indeed that is what we are shown in this film, then I feel that from the premise is a story that engages enough so that's all good.
Now if there is something that surprises me about this film is the performance of Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis, because practically in 90% of the film they are acting as a person who acts to be another character, just thinking about it makes me complicated now I imagine the professionalism that each actress must have for it to be carried out in the best way and that we as viewers feel like they really exchanged bodies, so I feel that the performance of both is of utmost importance for the film to work, and it really worked.
Obviously in this kind of movies the comedy is quite important to mark the rhythm of the movie and I feel that the comedy in this movie fulfills the expectations, I am not saying that Sean is a work of art or that I laughed non-stop, but I feel that it complements the story very well and fulfills what it promotes, It is true that it can fall into clichés but this does not have to be a bad thing, besides we know that comedy is often to give us absurd situations and see how our protagonists assume these situations, that's what really triggers the moment of humar, and I feel that this film is a clear example of this comedy, as practically Freaky Friday revolves around this.
Freaky Friday is a movie that I grew up with and that I have seen countless times, in particular whenever I have the opportunity I watch it, it does not bore me at all and sometimes I revisit movies that I enjoyed a lot at the time but then I see them objectively and they are not as good as I remembered, but with this movie the opposite happened to me because when I saw it objectively I said "of course, this is why it is so good".
I would consider it as a classic, I think most of us have seen this movie at some point and if for some reason you have not seen it I recommend it 100%, because although it is not a masterpiece it does not pretend to be one and in my opinion it achieves its goal which is to convey a nice message about empathy, knowing that each person's problems are worth and should not be minimized.

Movies from our childhood give nostalgic feeling just by sseing them again. They often bring memories attached to the periods I first saw them.
When if comes to films where multiple personalities are to be depicted, or in this case personality swapping, only an actor that can effectively pull this off will be able to deliver well on the story to be told.
The fact one can actually feel and think that they swap bodies in the film tells how excellently the actresses performed. I love me a movie with great acting.

Estoy totalmente de acuerdo contigo, aunque la película está incluso cimentada en un argumento muy cliche de esos tiempos (el cambio de cuerpo) no importa cuando está muy desarrollada, creo que es el argumento más divertido para usar en el cine y la televisión, porque siempre nos ha dado curiosidad ver a los personajes actuando de una forma muy diferente.
En mi opinión, aunque desde luego alabo la actuación de Lindsey Lohan como un personaje maduro, quien se llevó la corona fue Jamie Lee Curtis actuando como una adolescente, y claro, desde luego que tiene que ver con que su personaje era más divertido pero de verdad me hizo reír mucho con la fuerza que le imprimía a sus diálogos y su expresión corporal (andares desgarbados y postura descuidada). "Ahhh parezco una momia" jaja nunca olvidaré eso. ¡Amé tu review!

Vamos por parte. Esta es una de las mejores pelis (no me refiero a nivel técnico, le falta trabajo) pero si que es bastante buena. Creo que además de las actuaciones y los chistes graciosos (como el abuelo gritando "terremoto" o abrazando a la amiga de Anna pensando que era ella) sino porque la presentación de los personajes está muy bien hecha para que ´precisamente todo el desarrollo y clímax (el cambio de cuerpos) sea bastante influyente y creíble ya que todo gira alrededor del conflicto de madre e hija. En verdad es genial.
Tiene una buena comedia, aún hoy en día uno revisita esta película y se da cuenta de que tiene momentazos!
