Hola hive, hoy les vengo a hablar sobre una película que tengo como tradición ver todos los años y me encantan porque siento que en general siempre que vemos una película nuevamente hay pequeñas cosas que vamos descubriendo o valorando cada vez más, así que por esta razón y para no perder la costumbre es que hoy les vengo a hablar de How The Grinch Stole Christmas
How The Grinch Stole Christmas es una película navideña lanzada en el 2000, dirigida por Ron Howard, y protagonizada por Jim Carrey. Esta película está basada en un cuento infantil homónimo escrito por Dr. Seuss. Ya habiendo dado un poco de contexto sobre esta película ahora si comencemos.
Primero siempre me gusta empezar hablando de lo que más me encanta de esta película y más allá de cualquier aspecto objetivo siento que el fuerte real de este film es lo divertida que es, tiene un humor bastante característico y original que siento que la hace una película navideña muy única, pero todo esto sin dejar de lado la historia principal, que aunque no es profunda, siento que logra entretener.
La actuación de Jim Carrey en esta película es alucinante, siempre me ha parecido increíble la versatilidad que tiene este actor para sus personajes, más que todo porque siento que les inyecta algo de su esencia que los hace incomparables, y obviamente el Grinch no es la excepción a esto, logra personificar este personaje de una forma que no cualquier actor lo hubiese logrado.
Otro aspecto que cada año me va sorprendiendo cada vez más es de lo bien que ha envejecido esta película estéticamente, pasan los años y siempre me va a parecer que el disfraz y maquillaje del grinch en esta película es demasiado perfecto, es literal una caricatura en live Action y se ve perfecto, sin duda esto me encanta y es digno de destacar
La dirección de esta película siento que es bastante curiosa, suele tener escenas o planos muy fuera de lo común, pero considero que esto es intencionalmente para lograr transmitir esa estética que intenta plasmar Dr Seuss en sus cuentos, y aunque pueden haber personas a las que no les convence mucho, a mi en lo personal me gusta y lo disfruto.
En si navidad es una fecha que yo disfruto mucho y parte fundamental de la magia de la navidad son las películas, eso es una realidad, porque es tradición ver las mismas películas año tras año, y son películas con las que muchos de nosotros crecimos, por esto siento que están tan cargadas de nostalgia y las hace muy especiales.
En conclusión esta película me parece increíble, pero no solo porque siento que objetivamente es súper divertida y es una gran película sino que ademas me trae buenos recuerdos y ya es una tradición yo ver estas películas, así como muchas otras de las que les hablaré en los siguientes días. Así que si! Esta película totalmente recomendada!

How The Grinch Stole Christmas is a Christmas movie released in 2000, directed by Ron Howard, and starring Jim Carrey. This film is based on a children's story of the same name written by Dr. Seuss. Having given a little context about this movie, let's get started.
First I always like to start by talking about what I love most about this movie and beyond any objective aspect I feel that the real strength of this film is how funny it is, it has a quite characteristic and original humor that I feel makes it a very unique Christmas movie, but all this without leaving aside the main story, which although it is not deep, I feel it manages to entertain.
Jim Carrey's performance in this movie is amazing, I have always found incredible the versatility that this actor has for his characters, mostly because I feel that he injects them with something of his essence that makes them incomparable, and obviously the Grinch is no exception to this, he manages to personify this character in a way that not any actor could have achieved.
Another aspect that surprises me more and more every year is how well this movie has aged aesthetically, years go by and I will always find that the Grinch's costume and makeup in this movie is too perfect, it is literally a cartoon in live Action and it looks perfect, no doubt I love this and it is worthy of highlighting.
The direction of this film I feel is quite curious, it usually has scenes or shots very out of the ordinary, but I think this is intentionally to convey that aesthetic that Dr. Seuss tries to capture in his stories, and although there may be people who are not very convinced, I personally like it and enjoy it.
Christmas is a date that I enjoy a lot and a fundamental part of the magic of Christmas are the movies, that is a reality, because it is tradition to watch the same movies year after year, and they are movies that many of us grew up with, this is why I feel that they are so loaded with nostalgia and makes them very special.
In conclusion this movie seems amazing to me, but not only because I feel that objectively it is super fun and it is a great movie but it also brings back good memories and it is already a tradition for me to watch these movies, as well as many others that I will tell you about in the following days. So yes! This movie totally recommended!
