[ESP/ENG] Puss In Boots: The Last Wish (2022) - Review: “una obra maestra del cine contemporáneo”
Hola hive, hoy les quiero hablar sobre una secuela que estuve esperando por mucho tiempo ya que la primera es una de mis películas favoritas y cuando vi el trailer de esta segunda parte me emocioné mucho, así que ya después de haberla visto les quiero dar mi opinión, por eso es que hoy les quiero hablar de Puss In Boots: The Last Wish
Puss In Boots: The Last Wish o (el gato con botas: el último deseo) es una película de dreamworks lanzada a finales del 2022, esta película es una secuela de “el gato con botas” del 2011 que a su vez es un spin off de la franquicia de shrek. Hace unos días hablé de lo mucho que me gustaba el gato con botas del 2011 y como sentía que era un spin off bastante completo, por lo que mis expectativas para The last Wish eran bastante altas, pero… ¿esta película las pudo cumplir? Dicho esto comencemos!
Primero siempre me gusta empezar hablando de lo que más me encanto de la película y debo admitir que de tantos puntos positivos que tiene esta película me costo elegir uno, pero si hay algo que me llamo la atención desde el principio es la animación que tiene esta película, es simplemente perfecta, no solo porque se ve muy bien estéticamente sino que ademas esa mezcla de diferentes estilos hace que el resultado final sea muy único.
Ahora hablemos del centro de la película es decir su trama, me encanta que esta situada de última cronológicamente hablando ya que esto se presta para presentarnos una historia totalmente nueva, así como en este caso, que aunque tiene varios factores similares a la primera si es verdad que la manera en que abordan la situación es distinto, ya no se siente como una película de origen sino como una aventura más, que podría ser la última.
Como dije muchos aspectos de la película me encantaron pero otro que debo destacar es el doblaje y aquí si quiero hacer énfasis en el doblaje latino ya que aunque la versión original está muy bien si es verdad que en la versión en español tiene un plus para mi, esto es algo que me sucede con todas las películas de este universo y está obviamente no fue la excepción.
Si hubo algo muy genial que me hizo pensar esta película y es que la animación es increíble, pero me encanta ver como en el pasado las películas buscaban ser animación realistas, las texturas y colores que se utilizan estaban enfocados en simular realismo, actualmente no es tan así, ya que las películas utilizan la animación como otra manera de transmitir sensaciones dejando de lado esa búsqueda de realismo y priorizando el arte, sucedió en películas como Spiderman into the spider verse, la cual fue aclamada en este aspecto y siento que en esta sucede algo muy similar.
El arco de cada uno de los personajes es increíble y es que cada uno tiene un objetivo y una motivación, nada sucede porque si, sino que todo tiene su razón de ser y esto no sólo hace que la película tenga más sentido sino que ademas nos podemos empatizar con dichos personajes, por ejemplo cuando nos dejan ver ese lado vulnerable de nuestro protagonista y como le toca asumir el riesgo para lograr que su situación actual cambie.
De por si siento que esta película está cargada de mensajes bonitos y mucho aprendizaje, obviamente disfrazado en una excelente historia pero no por eso le debemos quitar el mérito a cada uno de estos momentos que nos hacen reflexionar, siento que es difícil logran una película con un buen mensaje sin que llegue a caer en lo cursi, pero the Last Wish lo logra sin problema.
Algo que si o si tengo que mencionar es lo excelente que es el antagonista, realmente logra transmitir miedo, de verdad que es muy necesario un buen villano para que el personaje principal logre destacar y esta película es una muestra de ello, definitivamente de lo mejor de la película.
Si quiero admitir con toda sinceridad que los primeros minutos de la película no son los más divertidos, obviamente tiene escenas de acción visualmente hermosas y sienta las bases de la historia, pero en realidad lo mejor viene después del primer cuarto de película.
En conclusion me parece una muy buena película, no solo es objetivamente genial sino que ademas logro cumplir mis expectativas, las cuales eran muy altas, como dije anteriormente la primera película me encanto y esta definitivamente no se queda atrás, Puss In Boots The Last Wish es simplemente una joyita del cine animado!

Hi hive, today I want to talk about a sequel that I was waiting for a long time because the first one is one of my favorite movies and when I saw the trailer of this second part I was very excited, so after watching it I want to give you my opinion, that's why today I want to talk about Puss In Boots: The Last Wish.
Puss In Boots: The Last Wish is a movie from dreamworks released at the end of 2022, this movie is a sequel to "Puss in Boots" from 2011 which in turn is a spin off of the shrek franchise. A few days ago I talked about how much I loved 2011's Puss in Boots and how I felt it was a pretty complete spin off, so my expectations for The last Wish were pretty high, but... could this movie live up to them? That being said let's get started!
First I always like to start talking about what I loved the most about the movie and I must admit that out of so many positive points that this movie has it was hard for me to choose one, but if there is something that caught my attention from the beginning is the animation that this movie has, it is simply perfect, not only because it looks great aesthetically but also because that mix of different styles makes the final result very unique.
Now let's talk about the center of the film, that is to say its plot, I love that it is located last chronologically speaking as this lends itself to present us with a totally new story, as in this case, that although it has several similar factors to the first one, it is true that the way in which they approach the situation is different, it no longer feels like an origin film but as one more adventure, which could be the last one.
As I said many aspects of the movie I loved but another that I must highlight is the dubbing and here if I want to emphasize the Latin dubbing because although the original version is very well if it is true that in the Spanish version has a plus for me, this is something that happens to me with all the movies of this universe and this obviously was no exception.
If there was something very cool that made me think this movie and is that the animation is amazing, but I love to see how in the past the movies sought to be realistic animation, textures and colors that are used were focused on simulating realism, currently it is not so, as the films use animation as another way to convey feelings leaving aside that search for realism and prioritizing art, it happened in movies like Spiderman into the spider see, which was acclaimed in this aspect and I feel that in this something very similar happens.
The arc of each of the characters is incredible and each one has a goal and a motivation, nothing happens just because, but everything has its reason for being and this not only makes the film makes more sense but also we can empathize with these characters, for example when they let us see the vulnerable side of our protagonist and how he has to take the risk to make his current situation change.
In itself I feel that this film is loaded with beautiful messages and a lot of learning, obviously disguised in an excellent story but not for that reason we should not take away the merit to each of these moments that make us reflect, I feel that it is difficult to achieve a film with a good message without falling into the cheesy, but the Last Wish achieves it without problem.
Something that I have to mention is how excellent the antagonist is, he really manages to transmit fear, it is really necessary to have a good villain for the main character to stand out and this movie is a sample of it, definitely the best of the film.
If I want to admit with all sincerity that the first minutes of the film are not the most fun, obviously it has visually beautiful action scenes and lays the foundation of the story, but really the best comes after the first quarter of the film.
In conclusion I think it's a very good movie, it's not only objectively great but it also managed to meet my expectations, which were very high, as I said before I loved the first movie and this one is definitely not far behind, Puss In Boots The Last Wish is simply a jewel of animated cinema!
