[ESP/ENG] Shrek The Halls (2007) - Review: “Un Excelente Cortometraje Navideño”
Hola hive, hoy les vengo a hablar sobre un cortometraje que me encontré en el menú de Netflix y me llamo bastante la atención por los personajes que involucraba, por esta razón decidí darle una oportunidad así que hoy les quiero hablar de nada mas y nada menos que Shrek The Halls
Shrek The Halls (o Shrek Ogrorisa la Navidad como se conoce en latinoamerica) es un especial navideño de la franquicia de Shrek lanzado en el 2007, dirigido por Gary Trousdale y protagonizado por las voces de Mike Myers, Eddie Murphy, Cameron Diaz y Antonio Banderas. Este cortometraje nos muestra a Shrek, un ogro que no tiene la mínima idea de cómo celebrar navidad, sin embargo hace el mayor intento para lograr cumplir con las expectativas de su familia de tener una primera gran navidad juntos. Ya habiendo dado un poco de contexto ahora si comencemos!
Primero siempre me gusta empezar hablando de lo que más me encanto de la película y aunque en este caso es algo “tonto”, admito que disfrute mucho que mantuviesen la voces originales de cada personaje, tanto en el doblaje Latino como en la versión original, yo solo por este lado sabía que lo iba a disfrutar bastante porque cada personaje iba contar con la misma personalidad con los que lo habíamos conocido, y efectivamente así fue.
La historia me pareció muy entretenida, es impresionante como aunque es un cortometraje, logran igual darnos mucho material sobre nuestros personajes principales, tanto así que mediante va avanzando cada vez nos vamos sintiendo más identificados con lo que está sucediendo y es que siento que todos alguna vez hemos estado en presencia de alguna situación similar, por lo que es fácil empatizar.
Como nunca puede faltar en las películas o cortometrajes navideños, siempre están cargados de un buen mensaje, este en particular enfocado a la unión, la familia y la tolerancia que se puede llegar a necesitar en estas situaciones, porque al final del día son épocas y momentos que tienen como base compartir con nuestros familiares y amigos más cercanos.
De por si no me considero muy fan de los cortometrajes, porque hay muchas veces que me parece contenido vacío, sin embargo no me arrepiento de haberle dado la oportunidad a este porque me lo disfruté mucho, también puede ser porque soy muy fan de la saga de Shrek, pero también siento que es un cortometraje que tiene un sentido, una historia que contar y un mensaje que dejar, aparte si esto fuese poco es bastante cómico, así que admito que cumplió con mis expectativas
En conclusión Shrek The Halls fácilmente lo puedo considerar como uno de mis cortos navideños favoritos, me gusto de principio a fin, así que posiblemente lo agregue a mi lista navideña de contenido que veo todos los años, sinceramente considero que está a la altura de lo que promete. Totalmente recomendado!

Hello hive, today I come to talk about a short film that I found in the Netflix menu and called my attention because of the characters involved, for this reason I decided to give it a try so today I want to talk about nothing more and nothing less than Shrek The Halls.
Shrek The Halls (or Shrek Ogrorisa la Navidad as it is known in Latin America) is a Christmas special of the Shrek franchise released in 2007, directed by Gary Trousdale and starring the voices of Mike Myers, Eddie Murphy, Cameron Diaz and Antonio Banderas. This short film shows us Shrek, an ogre who has no idea how to celebrate Christmas, yet he tries his best to fulfill his family's expectations of having a great first Christmas together. Having given some context, now let's get started!
First I always like to start talking about what I loved most about the movie and although in this case it is something "silly", I admit that I really enjoyed that they kept the original voices of each character, both in the Latin dub and in the original version, I just knew I was going to enjoy it a lot because each character would have the same personality with which we had known him, and indeed it was so.
I found the story very entertaining, it is impressive how even though it is a short film, they still manage to give us a lot of material about our main characters, so much so that as it progresses we feel more and more identified with what is happening and I feel that we have all been in the presence of a similar situation, so it is easy to empathize.
As you can never miss in Christmas movies or short films, they are always loaded with a good message, this one in particular focused on the union, family and tolerance that may be needed in these situations, because at the end of the day are times and moments that are based on sharing with our family and closest friends.
In itself I do not consider myself a fan of short films, because there are many times that I find empty content, however I do not regret having given the opportunity to this one because I enjoyed it very much, it may also be because I am a big fan of the Shrek saga, but I also feel that it is a short film that has a meaning, a story to tell and a message to leave, besides if this were not enough it is quite funny, so I admit that it met my expectations.
In conclusion Shrek The Halls I can easily consider it as one of my favorite Christmas shorts, I liked it from beginning to end, so I will probably add it to my Christmas list of content I watch every year, I sincerely believe that it lives up to its promise. Totally recommended!
