Hola cinéfilos, cómo están ? Cómo pasan el día ? , hoy les traigo una reseña y opinión de una serie que me tarde algo en ver ,pero que cuando la ví me encantó, y es está, entrevista con el vampiro , una serie adaptada d ella increíble obra de Anne Rice ,y de los libros de Crónicas vampíricas, libros muy famosos en la literatura gótica. Por lo que recuerdo me ví la película icónica con Brad pitt, Tom cruz , y con Antonio banderas, cuando estaba muy pequeña, digamos que tuve mi fase de obsesionada con los vampiros, descubriendo crepúsculo, Underwood, o Van Helsing, así que me la ví ,pero de allí no la vi de nuevo, luego intenté algunas veces leer los libros ,e incluso tengo el libro de Armand, pero no continúe los demás, por qué no me atrapó , y sinceramente no era para mí edad en ese momento, pero hace algunos años cuando dijeron que iban a hacer la adaptación de la serie ,la espere con algo de expectativa, dado que iban a adaptarse muchas cosas, y habían muchos elementos que cambiarían, para cuando salió la serie, me las críticas fueron mixtas y mi interés disminuyó, pero ahora con la salida del teaser de la nueva temporada, y con mi hermana y mi mejor amiga insistiendo para que le dé un chance , me animé a verla.

Anne Rice es una autora sumamente conocida y una de las autoras más influyentes en la lectura gótica, sus obras han sido bastante conocidas ,y con esa icónica película, de un bratt pit vampiro , bueno , ha sido bastante famoso el material de origen, así que como todo ,cuando se adapta ,y terminan cambiando muchas cosas eso puede hacer que se pierda parte de la esencia de la historia. Sin embargo, evaluando solamente la serie y los arreglos que le hicieron, tendría que decir que me ha encantado, ame la elección del cast, y cada adaptación que hicieron, y como ajustaron todo para que se entendiera la lucha contra la desigualdad y el racismo que vive Louis, así como también se exploran temas como la fé, el significado de la vida y de la muerte, y como ahora con una vida eterna, como se puede experimentar el vivir ,pero sobre todo ,como un inmortal, y técnicamente un monstruo de la noche , puede conservar aún parte de su humanidad? ,o está se pierde al igual que su alma, está corrompido un vampiro? Son sus deseos ,éticas y moral, cuestionables al perder su esencia humana? , todas estas preguntas son sumamente interesantes, y te envuelven en esta novela gótica , con una estética preciosa de época, y con una fotografía bellísima, parece que cada fragmento se imagen puede ser usado como una imagen estética ,llena de romanticismo oscuro.

El carisma de cada actor está presentes en su actuación, tanto Louis (Jacob Anderson) , como Lestat (Sam Reid) son personajes complejos , el encanto de Lestat es vital para que te encariñes con él, dado que es un personaje de una moral gris que se tambalea bastante en rozar casi la villanía , también sucede con Louis, es vital que el actor haya sabido darle tanta tridimensionalidad al personaje, chispa y genuinidad, muy necesario para que te encariñes con él, ya que Louis es el que lleva la mano de esta historia, y básicamente estamos confiando en Louis para seguir sus recuerdos, y debo mencionar al fantástico trabajo de quien interpreta a Daniel Malloy (Eric Bogosian) , que también creo un interpretación con su persona sarcástica y conflictiva , y sinceramente de mis elementos favoritos de la serie , dada la forma en que logra anteponerse ante dos vampiros ,y aún así conservar sus pensamientos e ingenio, me parece que nos es nada fácil por las líneas temporales en la que sucede la serie , mantenerse él en el foco de la atención, muy valiente con un humor ácido que hace que las interacciones entre Louis y él sean geniales y te mantengas inmerso en la historia, pero sobre todo tratando de entenderla dado que Louis no parece ser el narrador más confiable.

Aquí la idea es el romance gótico, que se balancea entre la tragedia, y la toxicidad, y es algo que también te cuestiona , porqué mientras miras la serie puedes ver una relación bastante tóxica, entre Louis, y Lestat , pero también vez el amor que se tienen , y es aquí en dónde entran los cuestionamientos,¿es el amor de un vampiro igual al de un humano ? ,¿ un ser que ya no recuerda su humanidad puede amar de una forma correcta ? , ¿ o este es un amor condenado a sufrir por la perdida de la humanidad de ambos amantes?. Estas preguntas son bastantes interesantes, por su puesto la serie está dirigido a un nicho en específico en dónde este tipo de historias de romances oscuras son la norma.A mí parecer mi historia de amor favorito, es la de Claudia, y me parece que la mejor historia es la de ella y Louis, siendo que Claudia es salvada por él, y ella le da un atisbo de esperanza a su existencia, y la forma en la que desarrollan está linda relación ,de padre/ hija , hermano/hermana , me parece preciosa, incluso con sus altas y bajas, toda la creación de Claudia está sujeta a mucha miedo y desigualdad, pero aún así captamos pequeños momentos de este cariño genuino de ambos, y como ambos terminaron siendo esa familia que necesitaban.Pero ustedes díganme, son fans de esta serie ? La vieron ? , realmente me enganchó bastante, no voy a mentir aunque Lestat me parece súper icónico, mis personajes favoritos, son Louis , Claudia y Daniel 😅, cuales son los suyos?.
