Hola cinéfilos como están ? Cómo han pasado estos días ? Hoy les traigo una reseña de una serie que ha resonado mucho en estos últimos días ,y recibiendo muchas buenas críticas y cumplidos, y es esta serie llamada Éramos mentirosos de Prime , y aquí está mi historia con esta sería, la esperaba desde hace muchísimo tiempo, dado me leí el libro hace muchos años y se ha convertido en unos de mis libros favorito y de los primeros que me sacó de lecturas mas típicas para irme un poco al drama / angustia , recuerdo haberlo leído unas 6 veces ,cada vez que quería conectar con una parte más triste y angustiosa jajaja 😂, no se porque a veces me dan ganas de leer este tipo de cosas ,pero los que leen fanfics seguro me sabrán comprender que la etiqueta de angustia es bastante consumida😂. Pero llendo al punto ,las expectativas que les tenía a esta serie eran inmensas, también al ver el cast tan perfecto con cada integrante de los mentirosos pareciendo salidos del libro, y con la estética Old money que planteaba el trailer, así que me la ví de un maratón y al fin puedo decirles a todos que tienen dudas de verlas:

Leí este libro hace unos 6 años , y la verdad no tengo fresco la versión del libro ,pero me lo estoy planeando releer , pero sí recuerdo que hay unas cuantas diferencias, entre ambos productos, más sin embargo no impiden en lo mínimo que la historia se desarrolle como lo tiene que hacer , de hecho la adaptación, todo lo que incluyeron aporta muchísimo a la historia y aumenta el desarrollo de cada personaje , así que todo ayudó a la construcción de la historia de la familia Sinclair y el porque son como son. Una de las diferencias más grande es que en la serie tienen mucho más relevancia las historias de las hermanas, lo que hace que sea aún más dinámica, y podamos conocer aún más sobre la rara dinámica familiar en la que están sumergidos los Sinclairs.La estética es preciosa , mostrando una bella paleta de colores pasteles ,y mucha inspiración al estilo del dinero viejo y lujo silencioso característico de esos entornos millonarios, también la forma en la que crean todo el ambiente de los recuerdos y como van jugando con la líneas temporales me pareció muy buena y bien presentada, si un punto super importante del libro era crear una sensación de angustia y de anticipación de que todo acabaría muy mal, y es genial ver cómo en la serie mantuvieron ese tono. Otra cosa que debo añadir es el cast de ensueño, Gat y Candence son perfectos, y la química de los actores traspasa la pantalla, de igual forma Mirren me encantó en su delicadeza, y tenía muchas ganas de ver a Johnny ya que lo interpreta Joshep Zada ( quien dará vida próximamente a heymith adolescente en los juegos del hambre ),y su actuación aquí también es muy buena, haciendo de Johnny alguien carismático y encantador ,pero al mismo tiempo malcriado y ególatra, también destacan mucho por su puesto Harris , que realmente logra ser retratado como ese casi villano de cuento en este "Reino" ,pero al mismo tiempo, siendo el centro de toda la familia Sinclair.
