Hola comunidad de cinéfilos , como están ? Cómo pasan estos días? hoy les comparto una serie un poco diferente, pero muy buena que llegó a su final este año , y termine viéndome muchas temporadas de una sentada por qué termine totalmente enganchada a esta serie ,y es que la verdad es una sátira algo oscura y un poco pesada ,pero miren que la disfruté bastante a pesar de los temas religiosos con los que choca, de seguro sí has visto algo hecho por Danny McBride ,ya sabes que tipo de humor oscuro es. Los honestos Gemstones es una comedia, que se enfoca en una familia que es básicamente una dinastía en el entorno de las iglesias y televisión cristiana, ese tipo de súper iglesias masivas ,que tienen su propio canal donde transmiten todo lo que hacen, y son masivamentes conocidas por sus feligreses, bueno algo así y también sobre todo lo que está detrás de eso, que es básicamente un súper imperio monetario que a veces termina siendo utilizados de mala manera , en esta serie nos muestra con un punto de vista satírico y una comedia muy oscura retratando esté mundo pero sin dejar de lado que le serie sea disfrutable y te termine sacando muchas risas, además con semejante elenco es necesario darle una oportunidad.

Synopsis

Me pareció bastante buena ,recuerdo que hace unos años cuando salió la primera temporada se viralizaron algunos clips de Adam DeVine ,y me dejó con la curiosidad de verla, y la verdad no me decepcionó , es muy divertida y como expone todo este mundo tan poderoso económicamente, es bien interesante, también dejó muy claro a mí parecer que aunque es una serie algo satírica sobre como está familia experimenta la fé ,a su conveniencia, también en muchos momentos deja en claro que de una forma muy abstracta , la fé también es la que los guía en los peores momentos, al igual que la familia y esos valores que les inculcó su madre ,una mujer realmente honesta y bondadosa ,terminan saliendo a flote por más horribles y caprichosos que parezcan ser sus personajes. Si la podría describir sería como una especie de succession, pero en vez de grandes corporaciones ,su corporación es una iglesia masiva y la industria del entretenimiento Cristiano, (por supuesto no al nivel de esa serie ) pero más por la historia del padre y los hijos peleándose por ser el próximo líder de la familia, (aunque está también podría ser referenciada a arrested develomep.)
Si te gusta el humor de Danny McBride, o un poco el humor negro , seguro que está comedia te gustará mucho! , le doy una puntuación de 4⭐/5⭐ , la primera temporada, y la segunda temporada son la mejores la verdad, la tercera es la peor para mí, pero logro recuperarse en la última, entonces cinéfilo , cuéntame la has visto ?
