Hola amigos cinéfilos , como están ? Cómo pasaron el día de las madres ? Felicidades a las madres en su día 💕🩷✨ Por aquí les traigo una serie bien interesante por si estaban buscando nuevas opciones que ver por allí, o sí les pasa que vieron la portada de esta serie y se les hizo una historia dramática o algo así y la siguieron de largo, cof cof me pasó a mí, el póster me dio a una película tipo familiar y tal vez cargada de mucho drama pero luego de ver bien el elenco
nada más que Steve Carell, Colman domingo, mi reina Tina Fey y Will Forte , que la verdad me dio una pinta bastante bien y me anime a verla y chicos está buenísima ! Acá les dejo la sinopsis y un poco de mi opinión.

Vamos conociendo la dinámica y relaciones de tres parejas de amigos que están en sus 50's , usando la celebración de una de las parejas su aniversario de 25 años de casados,terminan reuniéndose para ponerse al día, es cuando Nick(la pareja del aniversario ) le termina confesando a sus amigos que de hecho está esperando que pase el día para poder pedirle el divorcio a su esposa, esto debido a que ya no quiere seguir en una relación en donde es infeliz, mientras los amigos intentan mantener el secreto y luchar con la incomodidad de la situación, Anne la esposa de Nick, les confiesa de igual forma que la razón por la que planeo las reunión es para aprovechar que todos están juntos y regalarle a Nick una renovación de votos de matrimonio haciendo que la situación sea cada vez más loca.

La historia es un remake , la original es de los 80's ,y lleva el mismo nombre, así que aquí está una especie de adaptación en la actualidad con todos los temas y la forma en que las distintas generaciones ven las relaciones y el matrimonio, pero dándole una óptica de este grupo de amigos que están en sus 50's, digamos más o menos desde el punto de vista de la generación X y medio de la mediana edad ,y como se enfrentan al cambio de las dinámica de parejas , o incluso a los diferentes estilo de relaciones o amor que se van desarrollando , y creo que sobre todo también como estos se están enfrentándose a las crisis( sea crisis de identidad sobre sí mismos o sus relaciones) y lo que realmente quieren , a como perciben a su pareja y como está lo perciben a ellos. La temática de usar cada estación para establecer una línea de tiempo también ayuda bastante a la historia ya que vemos cómo con cada estación que pasa hay un nuevo evento o situacion en donde los amigos se reúnen y nos van actualizando sobre estos problemas que se plantean en cada episodio, así mismo que a medida que avanzan nos dan un vistazo a cada drama de cada relación, y como ciertas parejas que parecían estar en un buen momento en una estación, a la siguiente es la que está presentando más problemas y a punto de terminar todo, pero sobre algo realmente importante es la forma en la que muestran las relaciones entre ellos mismo como amigos quienes llevan más de 30 años conociéndose y dándole a cada uno un momento en donde muestran los mejores aspectos de su personalidad y sus mejores virtudes.

Una de las productoras es Tina Fey y como siempre está increíble en este papel , Kate es una esposa algo estirada controladora que tiende a asegurarse que todo esté bien y cuidar de los demás pero sobre todo de su propio esposo Jack, que a veces tiende depender demasiado de ella y ser demasiado pasivo y temeroso de todo, así como vemos a Danny y Claude, una pareja Gay bastante más moderna y que ha intentado tener más una relación de tipo abierta y moderna que aparentemente parecen no guardar secretos pero es bastante evidente que tienen muchos problemas para ser sinceros en la parte emocional y poder ser el apoyo que el otro necesita, y por último tenemos a Anne que se encuentra un poco perdida en una crisis de identidad en donde ya no sabe que es lo que realmente quiere de su carrera y Nick que ha estado convencido de que su matrimonio terminó hace muchos años ,y de hecho ha engañado a Anne un par de veces, está vez decidiendo poner fin al matrimonio y así poder buscar una relación con alguien que sea mucho más afín a lo que el quiere.
Y es que algo bastante típico que suele suceder, vemos que Nick termina saliendo con alguien que es 20 años menor,y esto cambia totalmente la dinámica de este grupo de amigos , teniendo que enfrentarse a esta relación de Nick y Ginny que los pone a reflexionar sobre sus propias relaciones y los deja un poco en una situación de comparación entre ellos, Ginny es una joven millenial y que con todas sus diferencias generacionales hacen que se sientan un poco intimidados y terminen hasta juzgando está relación que tiene con Nick, y terminan sin saber que hacer ,¿intentar apoyar la felicidad de su amigo ? ,pero al mismo tiempo sintiéndose mal por verse entre no serle leal a Anne.

Steve Carell como siempre es un actor increíble y eso no es sorpresa para nadie , aunque quieras odiar a Nick tiene un carisma que hace que aunque su personaje sea un idiota termines empatizando al final de la serie con él, aunque algo para mencionar es que sí tuviera una moneda por cada vez que he visto a Steve Carell interpretar a un cincuentón infiel que se mete con veinteañeras y termina muriendo en un accidente de carro como un gancho para empatizar con su personaje diré que tendría dos monedas, que no es mucho pero es raro que haya pasado dos veces ,y es que está situaciones tiene algunos guiños a su personaje en The morning show (veanla sí no la han visto, un drama increíble sobre el mundo de los noticieros con Reese whitherspoon y Jennifer Aniston) y que justo su personaje de allí Mitch y el de acá Nick incluso se escuchan parecido jaja así que digamos que es algo curioso.
Realmente la disfruté bastante ,tiene situaciones sumamente graciosas ,y sobre todo disfrutas viendo la dinámica de este grupo de amigos y como se van a apoyando en su peores momentos, con unas actúaciones increíbles de la mano de un cast super reconocido es una serie muy entretenida y que te remonta a ver esas películas viejas de los 2000 que pasaban en la televisión por cable, totalmente recomendada le daré un 4,8/5 ⭐.
