After a long time, I got a break enough to watch a movie. In the meantime, I have tried a few times to sit for one, but there was no way I could manage time. So yeah, I turned off my phone and just finished it in one go. I was searching for a film to go with, and suddenly, in a movie-related social media, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever appeared before me as someone from my friend list had watched it recently. As I loved Black Panther (2018), so this one is a must-try for me, at least for the sake of the previous one. And Marvel movies were always on my watchlist to complete.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is the second installment of the Marvel Comics superhero character Black Panther. We would be missing our previous Black Panther, Chadwick Boseman as T'Challa, who is presented as dead before us in the starting scene. So it starts with the fact of missing our superhero for whom we may have started it. Well, there are a few cast from the previous one and also new ones, for example, Tenoch Huerta Mejia as Namor, he plays the part of our villain and I must appreciate him.

This one is very long in run time, two hours and forty minutes; this is the first thing you going to notice, hahaha. As I already mentioned, the story progresses with the death of T'Challa, and his sister Shuri fails to cure her brother. As T'Challa is gone, gradually the other nations think of it as a weak point for Wakanda and try to get their hands on Wakanda's Vibranium that they rejected boldly. But the hunt for Vibranium continues. Later it is discovered that Wakanda is not the only one to possess Vibranium on earth; there is another existence of Vibranium outside of Wakanda guarded by another group led by Namor. That's where the plot continues.

In short, the other nations want Vibranium; for them, it's only Wakanda that possesses it, but they step into the tail of another group unknowingly. Seeing the threat of being discovered and potential threats, they want war against all the surface people and want Wakanda to join to eliminate them; that's where the tension begins at its fullest. Wars, actions, and chaos are always the main elements of these films and you get lots of them.

Enough of the plot reviews; let's dive into my raw thoughts and experience. First of all, it was a decent story with a flow of events, a diversion of thoughts, and a good ending. There were lots of events that took place that stretched the run time longer, which could have been reduced as I felt it was really long compared to the tension and excitement of those events. And I must admit that we have missed T'Challa, but for this one, I would remember Namor's character mostly. As our villain, he gave a top-notch performance; yeah I liked him more than our superhero character Black Panther that came into action in the last quarter of the film. Overall, the sound, graphics, performance, and cinematography were pretty decent.

To be honest, this one is a good film to watch if you have loved Black Panther, nope we are not getting him, but the memories of that may get alive. Also, you won't be getting as disheartened as we got to experience after Thor: Love and Thunder. Thor was my favorite character, so I digested that one last time, but it was a decent experience this time. I might rate it 6.5 out of 10. Not so special, but if you want to give it a try for the sake of Marvel and Black Panther, go for it.
