Okay, this is the end. Completed watching The Lord of the Rings trilogy. Just finished watching the last one, The Return of the King. As the title says, the king will return. Where the king will rule as Sauron is going to destroy everything, that's the answer and that's the end of the movie. The name itself is a huge spoiler, btw as this is the third film of the trilogy I am going to write about so it's going to be full of spoilers.

Okay the first thing, Gollum or Smeagol, that little thing that used to follow the ring or the ring bearer showing the path to Mordor. As from the first part we got to see the ring was to him for a long time, and here in the third part, we get to see how he killed his friend for the ring and the same he wants now, I was suspecting this just like Sam was suspecting. And Gollum played his part till the very end, btw somehow I am grateful to Gollum, maybe his greed, fate, and intentions fulfilled the last push needed. Will get back to it later.

Movies with such a long runtime will be boring if I start to go into detail with the story. Lemme pick the best part and show my impressions with that. I guess that will be better for me to keep a record of my emotions with the story.

We saw the end of Saruman in the second part, here only Sauron playing the moves. This time, Gondor is under attack by the Sauron armies, creatures that are more fearful than before. And the armies to defend are outnumbered. Gandalf, Aragon, Legolas, and Gimli are doing their best to defend. Aragon, being the heir of Isildur, summons the army of the dead. That's one of the great powers joining the hands to fight against the Sauron army just because they have sworn to fight, and through that, they will be freed from the oath by Aragon. The battle in the Minas Tirith, the capital of Gondor, was the last epic battle to wipe out the large armies of Sauron and this is the only battle in this third entry. Well, there is another battle in the end, the last one that eased the confusion in my mind.

There is a funny scene, trust me I watched it twice. Gimli and Legolas, while fighting they count how many orcs they have killed to compete with each other. In one battle Legolas kills a giant creature that looks like an elephant, that scene was amazing and when this huge creature falls in front of Gimli he says, "This counts as one." Trust me, if you watch that scene you will see how funny that moment was on seeing his face.

So many big battles, so many dangerous armies, orcs, all these set out to envision the lands, destroy the men, on the other hand, Frodo and Sam are going to enter from where all these came from. Mordor, from where all these started, where Sauron lives. I was just thinking how will they manage to destroy it, escaping the eye of Sauron, managing through all the Orcs who live there, they are just two hobbits, their physical strength is detouring little by little. Going for a journey with no way back. Still, they made it, their friends eased that path as I mentioned about the very last battle outside of the gate of Mordor.

You know, just like the last one, I must mention the friendship of Frodo and Sam, especially the dedication from Sam, outstanding. I will give a huge portion of the credit to Sam for Frodo's success.

There are many more characters to write about, like Gandalf, first time when he entered the Shire we saw how happy Frodo was, how all the kids enjoyed fireworks from him, how the other two hobbits lit a massive dragon firework, and how things changed, four of those hobbits on the war and Gandalf leading all of the wars as a pure soul, with the light, against the darkness of Sauron.

Okay, the Lord of the Rings fantasy adventure film trilogy which is based on the novel written by J.R.R Tolkein goes with the same name. I haven't read the novel so can't say how accurate the plot is, as I have watched the trilogy I would say that was an amazing adventure for me as well with Frodo Baggins bearing the Ring till the end. Worth Watching, had a great time.
