3 idiotas | Reseña de Película Hindú [Es-En]

Espero que esta pequeña Sinopsis que escribí para ustedes les dé una introducción a la película. En este emocionante film te vas a encontrar con de todo un poco. Comedia, romance, reflexiones y tristezas hacen de la película una emoción que perdura hasta el final. En la misma el orden cronológico puede ser algo confuso, así que te invito a prestarle mucha atención para que puedas percibir cuando están en el presente o recordando el pasado.

Siempre extraigo algunos puntos relevantes de la película para compartir y desde mi punto de vista el más importante es que esta película es una crítica al sistema educativo de la India a modo de sátira. Pudiera verse como simple comedia, pero en realidad están "enseñando a como enseñar".

Y aunque pudiera verse relacionada con las costumbres de la India, esa enseñanza puede servirnos a todos, sobre todo si somos educadores, y a su vez nos permite hacer una crítica del sistema educativo en los distintos países. ¿Qué quieren enseñar realmente?, ¿Son realmente efectivos sus métodos?, ¿Ejercen presión en los estudiantes?.

Me llamo mucho la atención algo mencionado en la película, donde explicaba que si se utilizaran medidores de la presión mental que ejercen algunas instituciones educativas o laborales, muchos suicidios fuesen considerados, por lo que realmente fue, un homicidio.

Pasando a otro punto hablaré sobre el orgullo y la competitividad. Y es que en la película se ve reflejado esto y quizás también sea parte de tu experiencia, que muchas veces en la escuela o en la universidad nos encontrábamos con alumnos que querían destacar en todo y creaban en su mente una competencia enfermiza con la finalidad de ser el mejor de la clase.

Me da risa pensar en esto porque en mi vida siempre estuvo presente esa estudiante. Cuando estaba en bachillerato hubo una estudiante que por alguna razón siempre me vio como su rival. La verdad yo estudiaba porque me gustaba y mis buenas calificaciones no se las presumía a nadie, incluso algunos amigos que no estaban en mi misma sección ni siquiera sabían que yo era de los mejores promedios. Pero es ahí donde estaba mi supuesta competencia.

Aquella estudiante hacía hasta lo imposible por resaltar más que yo, como si la estuviese retando a algo. En muchas ocasiones me hacía pasar por momentos incómodos, haciéndome parte de una rivalidad absurda de la que yo no quería ser partícipe. Su misma envidia y egocentrismo no le permitía ser feliz y eso a mí me daba pesar. Lo peor es que intente cambiarme varias veces de sección en los distintos años, solo por no tener ese tormento, y parece mentira que al comenzar el año escolar a la primera persona que me encontraba era a ella.

Como si fuera poco en la universidad me paso lo mismo con otra estudiante. ¡Qué tormento!. Porque tenían que agarrarla conmigo y seguirme a cada turno que me cambiaba. Lamentablemente, su sufrimiento es el éxito del otro. Tanto en bachillerato como de la universidad me gradué con honores, no fui la mejor ni esperaba serlo, pero parece que únicamente porque me gustaba estudiar y hacer lo mío sin mirar a los demás me gane el odio eterno de aquellas estudiantes.

Lección: la envidia y la competitividad no te hacen feliz.

Por otro lado, existe la amistad verdadera y lo que se refleja en la película es una muestra de eso. Aquellos 3 idiotas se convierten en grandes amigos, desmontando el verdadero significado de la amistad. El amor sincero hace que ayudemos desinteresadamente a los demás, siendo humildes y sin esperar nada a cambio, ni siquiera unas gracias, y cuando se reciben pudiéramos sentirnos indignos de eso.

Esta película enseña lo que significa interesarnos sinceramente por nuestros amigos. Lo que significa estar con ellos y disfrutar con ellos en los momentos felices, pero también lo que significa ser un apoyo incondicional en los momentos difíciles. Además, te ayuda a conocer la vida detrás de un amigo.

Otra realidad es que detrás de la sátira que se le hace en esta película al sistema educativo, está la presión que pueden ejercer los padres en sus hijos, haciendo parte de los malos métodos.

Algunos padres deciden que estudiaran sus hijos cuando sean grandes, por decirlo así, escriben su futuro como si de su vida se tratara. ¡Mi hijo será ingeniero!, quizás es la expresión de muchos, cuando en vez de ser una expresión debería ser una pregunta ¿mi hijo querrá ser ingeniero?.

Es algo en que reflexionar y darle importancia al sentir y los gustos de cada quien. Ellos serán felices viviendo su vida y no la nuestra.

Son tantas cosas bonitas que resaltar de esta película que llenaría esta publicación con muchas palabras. Pero es importante destacar aquellas verdades en comedia que pudieran cambiar tu vida.

"La Vida es una carrera, si no corren rápido serán pisoteados" (frase citada de la película). Esta es una dura realidad. El sistema de cosas te obliga avanzar, y no está mal avanzar, solo que te obliga a avanzar al paso de otros y muchos que no corren a la misma velocidad se van quedando en el camino. Y es allí donde la expresión "Aal izz well" (que significa: Todo está bien), se quedará grabada en tu memoria después de terminar esta película, enseñándonos que debemos calmar nuestros miedos y seguir avanzando.

Esta es sin duda mi película hindú favorita. La recomiendo. Así que si ya la viste me gustaría saber cuál fue tu impresión de la misma. Pero si no la has visto, te invito a que la coloques en tu lista y aproveches quizás el fin de semana para disfrutar de ella y luego pases por esta publicación y me comentes que te pareció.

I have been wanting to share with you the review of this movie for a few weeks now. But I took the time to watch it again and enjoy it. Since this is the first Hindi film I'm sharing, I'll start by talking a little bit about it.

I really like Hindi movies, especially those of actor Aamir Khan and Shahrukh Khan. You may be wondering who is Shahrukh Khan, one of his best known movies is My Name is Khan, you have probably already seen it. Most Hindi movies are characterized by their length, as they tend to be very long. Another common feature of these movies are the songs, as if it were a musical movie, and the exaggeration of some scenes.

These characteristics could make some people not like these movies, but in my case I have no problem with that, rather it is something that attracts me to them because it allows me to know part of the culture of India reflected in the films. In the end we are all part of the same planet and the variety is beautiful.

I almost forgot to mention who Aamir Khan is. He is a well known actor, director and singer from India, this I know because I have seen many of his films, including my favorites from Hindi cinema, Stars on Earth (Taare Zameen Par), PK and 3 Idiots. The movies featuring these two actors have a lot to contribute in a reflective sense and this is what I love the most.

Now, on to what we live for. I will be telling you a bit about my opinion on the movie 3 Idiots:

Rancho, a creative and enterprising young man, meets two great guys when he runs into them at an engineering college. The three of them live great moments that mark their lives. After graduation his great friend Rancho disappears, eventually his friends will embark on a journey in search of the person who changed their lives.

I hope this little synopsis I wrote for you will give you an introduction to the movie. In this exciting film you will find a little bit of everything. Comedy, romance, reflections and sadness make the film an emotion that lasts until the end. In this film the chronological order can be a bit confusing, so I invite you to pay close attention so you can perceive when they are in the present or remembering the past.

I always extract some relevant points from the film to share and from my point of view the most important is that this film is a criticism of the Indian education system as a satire. It could be seen as a simple comedy, but in reality they are "teaching how to teach".

And although it could be seen as related to the customs of India, this teaching can serve us all, especially if we are educators, and in turn allows us to make a criticism of the educational system in different countries. What do they really want to teach, are their methods really effective, do they exert pressure on the students?

I was very struck by something mentioned in the film, where he explained that if they were used to measure the mental pressure exerted by some educational or labor institutions, many suicides would be considered, for what it really was, a homicide.

Moving on to another point, I will talk about pride and competitiveness. And this is reflected in the film and perhaps it is also part of your experience, that many times in school or college we met students who wanted to excel in everything and created in their minds an unhealthy competition in order to be the best in the class.

It makes me laugh to think about this because that student was always present in my life. When I was in high school there was a student who for some reason always saw me as her rival. The truth is that I studied because I liked it and I didn't show off my good grades to anyone, even some friends who were not in the same section as me didn't even know that I was one of the best averages. But that's where my so-called competition was.

That student would go to great lengths to outdo me, as if I were challenging her to something. On many occasions she made me go through uncomfortable moments, making me part of an absurd rivalry that I didn't want to be a part of. Her envy and self-centeredness did not allow her to be happy and that made me feel sorry for her. The worst thing is that I tried to change section several times during the different years, just to avoid that torment, and it seems unbelievable that at the beginning of the school year the first person I met was her.

As if that wasn't enough, in college the same thing happened to me with another student. What a torment! Because they had to take her with me and follow me every time I changed. Unfortunately, their suffering is the success of the other. Both in high school and college I graduated with honors, I was not the best nor did I expect to be, but it seems that only because I liked to study and do my own thing without looking at others I earned the eternal hatred of those students.

Lesson: envy and competitiveness do not make you happy.

On the other hand, there is such a thing as true friendship and what is reflected in the movie is a sample of that. Those 3 idiots become great friends, dismantling the true meaning of friendship. Sincere love makes us help others selflessly, being humble and not expecting anything in return, not even a thank you, and when received we might feel unworthy of that.

This film teaches us what it means to care sincerely for our friends. What it means to be with them and enjoy with them in happy moments, but also what it means to be an unconditional support in difficult times. Also, it helps you get to know the life behind a friend.

Another reality is that behind the satire that is made in this film to the educational system, is the pressure that parents can exert on their children, making part of the bad methods.

Some parents decide what their children will study when they grow up, so to speak, they write their future as if it were their life: "My son will be an engineer", perhaps is the expression of many, when instead of being an expression it should be a question: "Will my son want to be an engineer?

It is something to reflect on and give importance to the feelings and tastes of each person. They will be happy living their life and not ours.

There are so many beautiful things to highlight about this movie that I would fill this post with many words. But it is important to highlight those truths in comedy that could change your life.

"Life is a race, if you don't run fast you will be trampled" (quote from the movie). This is a harsh reality. The system of things forces you to move forward, and it is not wrong to move forward, it just forces you to move at the pace of others, and many who do not run at the same speed fall by the wayside. And that is where the expression "Aal izz well" (which means: All is well), will remain engraved in your memory after finishing this movie, teaching us that we must calm our fears and keep moving forward.

This is without a doubt my favorite Hindi movie. I highly recommend it. So if you have already seen it I would like to know what was your impression of it.
