Comparto para ustedes una de mis películas favoritas del actor Eugenio Derbez titulada ¡Hombre al agua! Admito que no todas las películas de este actor me gustan, pero en especial esta la he podido ver varias veces y me sigue gustando, aunque tengo mis críticas en específico. Entonces, ¿Por qué me gusta?
Empezaré diciendo que es una buena opción para ver en familia. En mi caso, cuando invito a algunas familiares y amigos a ver películas, me esfuerzo por escoger una que sea entretenida y que contenga un contenido sano y reflexivo, y si estamos en presencia de niños que no contenga información sexual explicita, para evitar pasar un rato incómodo. Esta película me ha ayudado mucho y me he ahorrado tiempo en la elección, ya que se acopla a cualquier edad.
I share with you one of my favorite movies of the actor Eugenio Derbez titled ¡Hombre al agua! I admit that not all of this actor's movies I like, but especially this one I have been able to see several times and I still like it, although I have my specific criticisms. So, why do I like it?
I'll start by saying that it's a good option to watch with the family. In my case, when I invite some family and friends over to watch movies, I make an effort to choose one that is entertaining and contains healthy and thoughtful content, and if we are in the presence of children that does not contain explicit sexual information, to avoid having an uncomfortable time. This movie has helped me a lot and saved me time in my choice, as it is suitable for any age.
MI SINOPSIS:
Leonardo Montenegro es un hombre millonario gracias a la fortuna de su padre y a la prestigiosa industria Montenegro. Sin embargo, este se vuelve un hombre consentido, arrogante y poco empático. Un accidente inesperado le permitirá conocer una nueva vida en un mar de enredos.
MY SYNOPSIS:
Leonardo Montenegro is a millionaire thanks to his father's fortune and the prestigious Montenegro industry. However, he becomes a spoiled, arrogant and unempathetic man. An unexpected accident will lead him to a new life in a sea of entanglements.
Esta película es de género romance y comedia, una combinación perfecta para mis gustos. Salió para el 2018, por lo que ya lleva pocos años. Entre mis participaciones favoritas está la del actor Eugenio Derbez con su estilo de comedia, la actriz Anna Faris, quién en mi opinión le da vida a la película, me parece que su actuación es muy buena y la personalidad que transmite te hace querer ponerte de su lado y apoyarla, mientras te hace reír con sus ocurrencias.
Algo que en especial me gusta de esta película es que haya niñas y tengan bastante protagonismo; por decirlo así, tocan mi punto débil y me atrapan porque soy muy sensible con los niños y sus emociones. Así que en ese punto me parece que la actuación de Hannah Nordberg, Alyvia Alyn Lind y Payton Lepinski, fue muy linda y muy bien lograda, lloré en algunas de sus escenas. La manera en se esforzaron por transmitir emociones me llegó al corazón.
Los otros actores en el reparto de la película me parecieron buenos también, siento que cada personaje complementa y que está en el papel idóneo.
This movie is of romance and comedy genre, a perfect combination for my tastes. It came out in 2018, so it has only been out for a few years. Among my favorite participations is the actor Eugenio Derbez with his comedy style, the actress Anna Faris, who in my opinion gives life to the film, I think her performance is very good and the personality she transmits makes you want to get on her side and support her, while she makes you laugh with her witticisms.
Something I especially like about this movie is that there are girls and they have a lot of protagonism; so to speak, they touch my weak point and they get me because I am very sensitive to children and their emotions. So on that point I thought the acting of Hannah Nordberg, Alyvia Alyn Lind and Payton Lepinski, was very cute and very well done, I cried in some of their scenes. The way they went out of their way to convey emotions touched my heart.
I thought the other actors in the cast of the movie were good too, I feel that each character complements and is in the right role.
Como siempre, no podía faltar en mis reseñas las reflexiones, y es porque siento que eso enriquece mucho a las películas, que tengan un mensaje que transmitir, ya sea a través de comedias o sátiras.
Y pensando en estas dos cosas a la vez, el director nos transporta a ver la vida desde dos lados diferentes, desde la riqueza y desde la pobreza. Y es que para mucho es una realidad que algunas personas se les sube el dinero a la cabeza y ven a las demás persona como inferiores, en especial a las que les prestan un servicio.
As always, I could not miss in my reviews the reflections, and it is because I feel that this enriches films, that they have a message to convey, either through comedy or satire.
And thinking about these two things at the same time, the director transports us to see life from two different sides, from wealth and from poverty. And it is a reality for many that some people's money goes to their heads and they see other people as inferior, especially those who provide them with a service.
Pocas personas recuerdan la cara del mesero que lo atendió en un restaurante o la señora de limpieza, pero probablemente recuerde al empresario importante o alguna otra persona a los que ellos consideran más importantes.
Tener la oportunidad de vivir las dos vidas es un privilegio que digamos que difícilmente alguien tenga, sobre todo en esa posición, de millonario a pobre. Pero como espectadores podemos reflexionar y ser equilibrados, porque no está mal ser millonario ni pobres, lo importante está en que cualidades reflejamos, la clase de personas que somos por dentro.
Few people remember the face of the waiter who served them in a restaurant or the cleaning lady, but they probably remember the important businessman or some other person they consider more important.
Having the opportunity to live both lives is a privilege that let's say hardly anyone has, especially in that position, from millionaire to poor. But as spectators we can reflect and be balanced, because it is not bad to be a millionaire or poor, the important thing is in what qualities we reflect, the kind of people we are inside.
Y viendo esto, sentí mucha empatía por la protagonista, una madre soltera trabajadora que se esfuerza día a día por tratar de darles una buena vida a sus hijas. Y esta es la realidad para muchos, tanto para madres como para padres solteros que trabajan duro para darles lo necesario a sus hijos. Me gustó porque a pesar de lo difícil que es la vida para muchos, nos enseña que debemos seguir luchando y levantarnos todos los días con una actitud positiva para seguir encarando a la vida.
And watching this, I felt a lot of empathy for the protagonist, a working single mother who strives every day to try to give her daughters a good life. And this is the reality for many, both mothers and single fathers who work hard to give their children what they need. I liked it because despite how difficult life is for many, it teaches us that we must keep fighting and get up every day with a positive attitude to continue facing life.
Algo que me llamó la atención y me gusto de la película, fue una escena donde se muestra la amistad, aunque sea a modo de burla y chistes, se dignifica a la esposa, y eso fue un bonito detalle, sobre todo porque yo soy mujer y esposa también. A veces pensamos que el buen amigo es el que te dice ¡diviértete, disfruta la vida, búscate otra mujer, sé infiel!, pero el buen amigo es el que te enseña a valorar lo que tienes y aportar para que todo vaya mejor de lo que pueda estar.
Something that caught my attention and that I liked in the film was a scene where friendship is shown, even if it is in the form of mockery and jokes, it dignifies the wife, and that was a nice touch, especially because I am a woman and a wife too. Sometimes we think that a good friend is the one who tells you to have fun, enjoy life, find yourself another woman, be unfaithful, but a good friend is the one who teaches you to value what you have and contribute so that everything goes better than it could be.
Otro punto que se mostró en la película es la ambición por el dinero, por el prestigio y lo que es capaz de hacer dicha ambición. En la película se mostró claramente con el personaje que llamaremos "la mala" jeje, ya se acordarán de ella o la conocerán luego, aunque no era la única mala jeje.
Another point that was shown in the film is the ambition for money, for prestige and what this ambition is capable of doing. In the movie it was clearly shown with the character that we will call "the bad one" hehe, you will remember her or you will know her later, although she was not the only bad one hehe.
¿Pensaron que me olvidaría de mis críticas a la película? Pues no.

Les comento que el comienzo de la película me pareció genial y la manera en la que se van desarrollando los hechos, pero llega un punto donde se vuelve muy predecible, ya sabes lo que posiblemente va a suceder y como va a terminar. Se vuelve una completa novela.
Y así es, la película se vuelve novelesca, y aunque supongo que ese era el propósito, no me gustó, parece el final de una novela o una escena de ella. Es decir, con la música de fondo, la mala, el amor, las escenas que poco pasan en la vida real y esas demás cosas de novela de televisión.
Creo que ese tipo de drama es algo que le gusta mucho a los latinos y quizás por eso la hicieron así, o su objetivo era mostrar que en la vida real también se pueden vivir escenas de novelas. Pero como no soy amante de los dramas de novelas, honestamente esa parte de la película me desagradó, pero es mi opinión.
The beginning of the movie seemed great to me and the way in which the events unfold, but it reaches a point where it becomes very predictable, you know what is going to happen and how it will end. It becomes a complete novel.
And so it is, the movie becomes novelistic, and although I guess that was the purpose, I didn't like it, it seems like the end of a novel or a scene from it. I mean, with the background music, the bad guy, the love, the scenes that don't happen in real life and all that other TV soap opera stuff.
I think that kind of drama is something that Latinos like a lot and maybe that's why they made it that way, or their goal was to show that in real life you can also live scenes from novelas. But since I'm not a lover of soap opera dramas, I honestly disliked that part of the movie, but that's my opinion.
Sin embargo, como mencioné al principio, esta película ya la he visto muchas veces, jeje, así que su drama novelesco no impide que me guste la mayor parte de la película, me sigue pareciendo una buena opción para ver en familia y pasar un rato agradable. However, as I mentioned at the beginning, I have already seen this movie many times, hehe, so its novel drama does not prevent me from liking most of the movie, I still find it a good option to watch with the family and have a good time. Me encanta como actúa Eugenio Derbez, hace mucho tiempo la vi pero ya tenía rato de haber comenzado. Así que no presté mucha atención, sin embargo, recuerdo el final y me gustó mucho. Estoy pendiente para verla desde el principio.

A Anna Faris la recuerdo de Scary Movies, la identifiqué por el rostro jaja. No he visto muchas películas de Eugenio Derbez, solo la que hizo con Adam Sandler,creo que fue con Jack & Jill. Por lo que veo la peli es entretenida, aunque no me agrada lo de los giros telenovelezcos, tampoco que sean predecibles. 🙈. Aunque es entretenida, y eso puede que sea bueno. Me gusta cuando no tratan el humor de forma vulgar, y más cuando vemos pelis en familia.

I'm not a big fan of this actor. by the way, there are people who love him but he also has a lot of haters. I'm not a hater, I just don't like many of his performances, even in CODA I didn't like him. Maybe I have been influenced by so many negative reviews that the actor receives. hahaha.
Yes, I've known some people who don't like this actor either, even I don't like all of his movies, but I certainly liked some of them like this one.
Sí, así es, la mayoría de estas películas tienden a ser repetitivas, por eso son de mi elección cuando estoy en un plan tranquilo y para pasar el tiempo, así que para ese tipo de entretenimiento esta película cumple su objetivo.
