REVIEW: The big bad fox (2017) || El malvado zorro feroz (2017)

This time I will make an exception, and since the film consists of three stories, I will mention which one is my favorite, and for me it is the first one. There is humor, chaos, desperation, teamwork, tenderness, innocence, danger of death and even a scene with a speeding car. There are three central characters, who relinquish their leading role for the second story and return in the third play.

Room, a horror and overcoming film about kidnapping and captivity.

The movie puts us in the shoes of a kidnapped mother named Joy and her 4-year-old son named Jack (born in captivity as a result of a rape perpetrated by Joy's kidnapper), they have been living confined in a shed with no windows where there is only a skylight. Joy has done everything possible to protect Jack from the real situation they are in, to the point that the only things Jack knows about the real world are the things he sees on television but he doesn't really believe they are real because he has never seen them, his world is the small shed. Everything will change when Jack turns 5, Joy will make the decision to escape to give him the life he truly deserves, explaining to him how the world really works and that what he sees on television does exist, at first Jack will struggle to process this information but he will eventually choose to believe his mother. Joy's plan will be to make her son develop a fake fever so that the "Old Nick" (the kidnapper) takes him to the hospital and there he can ask for help with a note written by her, when he refuses to take him, she will change the plan so that her son pretends to be dead due to the fever the day before, which works but the movie does not end there at all, we will also see Jack facing the real world for the first time and Joy having to confront everything that happened to her, which will not be easy for either of them.

🎬 Movie Review: Dune Part Two

The truth is that it is a world that has me very hooked and there is still much more to show us. So I hope they can continue with the next movies and maybe, at some point, I tried to read the books to be able to better understand this mess of houses, their lineages and their strange names that cost me an egg to learn and I had to omit them for my own good hahaha. I'm looking forward to an upcoming movie to find out how this gripping story continues and of course it's more than recommended from my side.

Top 3: K-dramas que me han decepcionado 🍿

For me this drama meant frustration hahaha, I hated the main characters, on one side we have her who was just pitiful in the first chapters, and then you realize that it's just envy and that she was misplaced hating the other one who had never done anything to her just because the others had a chimba attitude with her (I disliked them too hahaha), and by the way they put her too dragged towards a man that at the beginning she didn't even care about. And on the other side, we have Do Kyung who is in my top of worst main characters, just toxic, bad intentioned and misplaced. In short, all bad.

La Dolce Vita (1960): Fellini's best work? | ¿el mejor trabajo de Fellini?

I confess that the film has excellent direction and beautiful black and white photography, as well as interesting, memorable sequences and many phrases that stay in your head, like the one Marcello says to Sylvia: "You are everything... everything! You are the first woman on the first day of creation. You are mother, sister, lover, friend, angel, demon, earth, home"; or one from Sylvia herself: "I like many things. But there are three things I like the most: love, love and love"; or one that Laura tells Marcello: "Stay free, available, like me. Never get married. Never choose. Even in love, it is better to be chosen". Phrases like that or scenes like that of the Trevi Fountain (presentation image of this post) have helped to mythologize this film in the collective imagination. La Dolce Vita also deals with interesting topics, philosophical dilemmas, love, sex, suicide, pleasure, life, death, infidelity, freedom, literature, the supernatural, it touches on religious themes with a certain freshness, in fact the Vatican newspaper classified it as obscene; It shows the invasiveness of the media (paparazzi), the decadence of an elitist, hedonistic and perhaps empty society, all of that adds up, but I felt it was very episodic, as if each day (within the chronology of the film) was a different story with few common threads and few anchor points beyond its protagonist.

The X-Men 97 Episode 4 - Motendo/Lifedeath - Part 1

I really liked everything, especially the part 1 of this episode. I feel that some more parts should have been added in Part 2. And this episode is much less in time than the other 3 episodes. It was quite a lot of fun for anime lovers like me. I hope to do a post on episode number 5 soon. Let me know what you think about this episode in the comments! have you seen it What are your thoughts .

My favorite series for March 🎬💕

The rain, this series of 3 seasons that caught me from the beginning but by the mystery of discovering what would be its outcome, because it is a deadly virus that comes to a city through the rain, this virus kills the moyoria of the population except a few, among those two brothers Simone and Rasmus who took refuge in a bunker where the father left them to protect them especially Rasmus. Six years passed after the first rain and they decide to leave and look for their father, they are lucky enough to join a group of survivors who roam the city in search of shelter and food and from here begins the series, the search for the pope, unexpected truths, romances and a series of events that will make you enjoy the series and keep you glued to it.

A Series Review: Never Have I Ever NO SPOILERS

What do I think about this series? I JUST LOVED IT. It is a really refreshing kind of series, the kind that you want to watch all the episodes in the same day. Every character shows different kind of circunstances teenagers use to go through (which makes it excelent for parents). Also, I think the story is beautifully constructed, since there is no thread left aside without conection. On the other hand, every character has his/her fall and redemption. And this series has its perfect amount of laughs, tears and reflections.
