Hablemos de Drive My Car (Ame este Cine)[ENG/ESP]

Greetings friends of Hive, I hope you are well, today I come to share with you a post about the movie Drive My Car, by the director and screenwriter Ryūsuke Hamaguchi.

Saludos amigos de Hive, espero que se encuentren bien, en el día de hoy les vengo a compartir un post sobre la película Drive My Car, del director y guionista jampones Ryūsuke Hamaguchi.

This movie was recommended to me by the mail after I managed to subscribe to the MUBI Streaming page, after spending a long journey through HBO, Netflix and not finding movies to my liking, I started asking my friends for services Streaming cult movies, in this way, I came to this wonderful platform.

Esta película me la recomendó el correo después que logre suscribirme a la página de Streaming de MUBI, después de pasar un largo recorrido por HBO, Netflix y no encontrar películas de mi agrado, empecé a preguntar mis amigos por servicios Streaming de películas de culto, de esta forma, llegue a esta Maravillosa Plataforma.

Something I liked a lot about this film was its cover, another point in favor could be its origin, I like Asian films very much, I feel that they are films that speak with the soul, since their culture is not usually very expressive. However, the situations they are presented with are totally human, so much so that we identify with everything that can happen to them.

Algo que me gusto mucho de esta película fue su portada, otro punto a favor pude ser su origen, los filme del continente asiático me gustan mucho, siento que son películas que hablan con el alma, ya que por su cultura no suelen ser muy expresivos. Sin embargo, las situaciones que se les presentan son totalmente humanas, tanto que nos identificamos con todo lo que les puede suceder.

This film begins with a perfect relationship between a writer and a Theater Director, who are very much in love, but as the film progresses we can see that there are internal situations that are not common in a relationship, but perhaps in a relationship of a couple who are in the world of the artistic world.

Esta película comienza con la muestra de una perfecta relación de una escritora y un Director de Teatro, los cuales se muestran muy enamorados, pero a medida que la película avanza podemos ver que hay situaciones internas que no son comunes en una relación, pero tal vez sí en una relación de una pareja que están dentro del mundo del medio Artístico.

It all begins with the revelation of an infidelity on the part of Yūsuke Kafuku's wife (Hidetoshi Nishijima), Oto Kafuku (Reika Kirishima), which is assumed in silence and then expressed through a blindness in the left eye. The pain and discomfort felt by the actor and the viewer before this revelation accompanies us throughout the film until the actor manages to tell his opinion of what he saw later, otherwise the Director of the film keeps the secret of infidelity in the eyes of the protagonist of the viewer.

Todo comienza con la muestra de una infidelidad por parte de la esposa de Yūsuke Kafuku (Hidetoshi Nishijima), que se llama Oto Kafuku (Reika Kirishima) la cual se asume en silencio y que luego se expresa por medio de una ceguera en el ojo Izquierdo. El dolor y la incomodidad que siente el actor y el espectador ante esta revelación nos acompaña en toda la película hasta que el actor logra contar su opinión de lo que vio más adelante, de resto el Director de la película guarda el secreto de infidelidad en la mirada del protagonista del espectador.

One of the things that catches my attention in this film, is how they show the real life of the artistic environment and how the theme of sexuality and interests stand out a lot in that each person surrounding the director, an example is the actor who slept with his wife, at the end we do not know if he wanted these with Oto or his purpose was to act for Kafuku.

Una de las cosas que me llama más la atención en esta película, es como muestran la vida real del medio artístico y como el tema de la sexualidad y los intereses resaltan mucho en que cada persona que rodean al director, un ejemplo es el actor que se acostó con su esposa, al final no sabemos si él deseaba estas con Oto o su fin era actuar para Kafuku.

A character that gives life to this film is a mute deaf actress, who plays a masterful role in the play, being this character very significant every time she enters the scene, so much so that she is in charge of giving the final message of the play. Possibly, she represents the answer to that conversation that remained silent between the protagonist and his wife.

Un personaje que la vida a esta película es una actriz Sorda muda, la cual obtiene un papel magistral dentro de la obra de Teatro, siendo este personaje muy significativo cada vez que entra en escena, tanto así que ella se encarga de dar el mensaje final de la Obra. Posiblemente, ella representa la respuesta a esa conversación que quedo en silencio entre el protagonista y su esposa.

Finally, there is the chauffeur assigned to the director, who represents an interesting point within the art spaces, that is, the person who knows nothing about art, but who ends up learning or becoming more involved with the work in process. She also symbolizes the encounter with the daughter she lost, but if she were alive she would be her age.

Por último esta la chofer que le asigno al director, la cual representa un punto interesante dentro de los espacios del arte, que es esa persona que no sabe nada de arte, pero que de tanto estar termina aprendiendo o vinculándose de más con la obra en proceso. Ella también simboliza el encuentro con la hija que perdió, pero que si estuviera viva tuviera su edad.

It is truly a very profound film that teaches us that nothing is our fault, we simply do what we can at the time of the event, and that we cannot walk through life as if nothing affects us, sooner or later everything comes to light, but it is better if it is through sincerity with oneself.

De verdad que es una película muy profunda que nos enseña a que nada es nuestra culpa, simplemente hacemos lo que podemos en el momento del suceso, y que no podemos andar por la vida como si nada nos afectara, tarde o temprano todo sale a la luz, pero es mejor si es a través de la sinceridad con uno mismo.
