Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes mi opinión sobre la película Japonesa I Just Wanna Hug You, está película la tenía pendiente por ver y realmente no esperaba que fuera a gustarme tanto ya que últimamente no me atraen demasiado las historias de romance, sin embargo, está es una historia diferente basada en hechos reales que te deja pensando en el valor del tiempo y de los momentos que vivimos y que muchas veces damos por sentado.

Today I want to share with you my opinion about the Japanese movie I Just Wanna Hug You, this movie I had it pending to see and I really didn't expect to like it so much since lately I'm not too attracted to romance stories, however, this is a different story based on real events that leaves you thinking about the value of time and the moments we live and that many times we take for granted.

Tsukasa Yamamoto es la protagonista de esta historia, una joven llena de vida y de sueños que en un momento determinado tiene un accidente de tránsito que le impide volver a caminar y que la obliga a confrontar sus miedos y tener que comenzar una nueva vida con la versión de ella que no esperaba tener. Tiene una resiliencia que la mantiene siempre activa, aunque necesita ayuda de otros, ella siempre busca poder ser lo más independiente posible y desea aunque no lo expresa, tener una vida normal dentro de sus posibilidades.

Tsukasa Yamamoto is the protagonist of this story, a young woman full of life and dreams that at a certain point has a traffic accident that prevents her from walking again and forces her to confront her fears and have to start a new life with the version of her that she did not expect to have. She has a resilience that keeps her always active, although she needs help from others, she always seeks to be as independent as possible and wishes, although she does not express it, to have a normal life within her possibilities.

Pero en sus planes no estaba escrito conocer a un joven llamado Masaki Koyanagi, quien es jugador de baloncesto y que tiene una vida normal. El se encuentra con Tsukasa por pura casualidad y desde el primer momento sabe que la relación entre ambos va a crecer más alla de una simple amistad. El problema está en que deben superar muchos obstáculos para poder vivir el amor que va creciendo cada día, entre ellos los comentarios de sus padres quienes ven la idea de ellos como pareja bastante descabellada y también superar el miedo a lo que otras personas puedan pensar sobre su relación.

But it was not in his plans to meet a young man named Masaki Koyanagi, who is a basketball player and has a normal life. He meets Tsukasa by pure chance and from the first moment he knows that their relationship will grow beyond a simple friendship. The problem is that they must overcome many obstacles in order to live the love that is growing every day, among them the comments of their parents who see the idea of them as a couple quite crazy and also overcome the fear of what other people may think about their relationship.

Se puede decir que es una película con una trama bastante parecida a otras solo que en esta ocasión la historia es basada en la vida real, saber está información me hizo sentir como que realmente cuando conoces a alguien especial no va a importar lo que otros piensen o los obstáculos que tengas que enfrentar, si el amor es verdadero podrá crecer como en esta historia con Tsukasa y Masaki quienes siguieron a su corazón y enfrentaron con valentía la vida misma, es una historia que realmente te hace creer en que existen personas que aman sin importar la situación en la que se encuentren.

It can be said that it is a movie with a plot quite similar to others only this time the story is based on real life, knowing this information made me feel like really when you meet someone special will not matter what others think or the obstacles you have to face, if love is true can grow as in this story with Tsukasa and Masaki who followed his heart and bravely faced life itself, is a story that really makes you believe that there are people who love no matter the situation in which they find themselves.

Los actores Keito Kitagawa y Ryo Nishikido tienen una química increíble, realmente sientes el amor entre ellos y puedes ver cómo interpretaron de manera magistral esta historia llena de momentos mágicos y también de desafíos. Ambos hicieron que la película se sintiera como si vieras una historia de ficción pero en este caso es algo que paso en la vida real, esto me dejó impresionada porque hay pocas personas que se arriesgarían a conocer a alguien que pueda parecer diferente y darse la oportunidad de amarlo sin importar enfermedad, miedos y críticas.

The actors Keito Kitagawa and Ryo Nishikido have an incredible chemistry, you really feel the love between them and you can see how they masterfully interpreted this story full of magical moments and also challenges. They both made the movie feel like you are watching a fictional story but in this case it is something that happened in real life, this left me impressed because there are few people who would risk meeting someone who may seem different and give themselves the chance to love them regardless of illness, fears and criticisms.

La dirección por parte de Akihiko Shiota estuvo impecable, mostrándonos la vulnerabilidad de los personajes en cada escena, incluyendo las que tenían pocos diálogos donde se podía sentir que el amor está presente y es más fuerte que cualquier adversidad. La fotografía y los escenarios son parte escencial de la historia donde podemos ver como la relación de Tsukasa y Masaki va creciendo a medida que se conocen y que se ven más allá de cualquier herida o enfermedad, es sublime la forma en la que mostraron como dos personas pueden enamorarse a pesar de ser totalmente diferentes.

The direction by Akihiko Shiota was impeccable, showing us the vulnerability of the characters in every scene, including those with little dialogue where you could feel that love is present and stronger than any adversity. The photography and scenery are an essential part of the story where we can see how Tsukasa and Masaki's relationship grows as they get to know each other and that they see each other beyond any injury or illness, it is sublime the way they showed how two people can fall in love despite being totally different.

De los mensajes más importantes que me llevo de esta historia es que cuando amas algo, lo cuidas y lo valoras a pesar de que puedan surgir situaciones complicadas y que para amar hay que dejar de lado los miedos, no sabemos cuando nuestra vida puede cambiar y hasta que momento tendremos la posibilidad de vivir junto a esa persona especial. Además la resiliencia de Tsukasa quien realmente pasó por un accidente fatal y su manera de querer ser independiente es algo muy valioso y habla de la fuerza interior que posee como persona.

One of the most important messages I take away from this story is that when you love something, you take care of it and value it even though complicated situations may arise and that in order to love you have to put aside your fears, we do not know when our life may change and until what moment we will have the possibility to live with that special person. In addition, the resilience of Tsukasa who really went through a fatal accident and her way of wanting to be independent is something very valuable and speaks of the inner strength she possesses as a person.

Más allá de ser una historia de amor, es una muestra de que la vida son cambios y momentos de incertidumbre, pero también de sorpresas y de personas que vienen a llenarnos de felicidad, nunca hay que dejar pasar la oportunidad de ser felices ya que nuestro tiempo en este mundo es corto y vale la pena luchar por lo que se ama. Tiene un final bastante triste pero es parte de la historia real y muestra que todos vinimos a cumplir una promesa en esta vida y a dejar una huella en la vida de las personas que nos conocieron y nos amaron incluso en los momentos más oscuros. Espero puedan verla, es una gran historia llena de reflexiones 🥹.

Beyond being a love story, it shows that life is about changes and moments of uncertainty, but also about surprises and people who come to fill us with happiness, we must never let go the opportunity to be happy because our time in this world is short and it is worth fighting for what we love. It has a rather sad ending but it is part of the real story and shows that we all came to fulfill a promise in this life and to leave a mark in the lives of the people who knew us and loved us even in the darkest moments.
