I want to tell you about this exciting film "La Nuée", a psychological thriller released in 2020 produced in collaboration with several French film companies, including: Capricci Production, Arte France Cinéma, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Cinéma, and The Jokers Films SAS. You can watch this film on Netflix.

Esta pelicula la puedes ver a través de netflix. Ganadora de varios premios de cine el film permanece rankeado con 91 puntos en las principales plataformas de películas durante los ultimos cinco años. Con excelente digitalización de imágenes y sónidos envolventes nos permite apreciar cada detalle sumergiéndonos en la trama desde el principio. Introduction
This film astonished me thanks to its balanced mix of drama and psychological thriller, with a surprising twist that induces chaos and the physical and mental deterioration of the characters.
What initially seemed like a plot about a thriving family living on a farm on the outskirts of the city gradually transforms into a nightmare filled with emotional shocks, disappointments, personal struggles, and existential horror.
I envisioned the freewheeling story of a single mother taking care of her children even in the most difficult moments, trying as much as possible not to show them the harsh reality they face so they don't suffer trauma or self-consciousness.
But that's not all! This film is more creative and ambitious, with a theme that borders on cruelty and crazy decision-making, even to the point of attack and self-flagellation.

Introducción
Esta película me ha dejado asombrado gracias a su dosificada mezcla de drama y thriller psicológico con un giro sorpresivo que induce al caos y al deterioro físico y mental de los personajes.
Lo que al principio fue un guion que se trata de una familia pujante que habita una granja a las afueras de la ciudad, poco a poco, se transforma en una pesadilla llena de impactos emocionales, decepciones, luchas personales y horror existencial.
Yo pensé en la común historia de una madre soltera haciéndose cargo de sus hijos hasta en los momentos más difíciles. Tratando en lo posible de no mostrarles la dura realidad que les toca vivir para que ellos no sufran traumas o complejos.
¡Pero no es todo¡ este film es más creativo y ambicioso. Con una temática que roza la crueldad y la toma de decisiones descabelladas, llega al punto del atentado y la auto flagelación.
My personal opinion
The young mother called "Virginie" spends most of her time trying to boost her farm business. Given the austerity she finds herself in due to the poor economic situation, she unwittingly neglects her two children, an eleven-year-old boy and a fifteen-year-old girl.
I was shocked to discover that the mother's venture was an unconventional trade.
Perhaps anyone would imagine it involved selling cattle, milk, eggs, fruit, grass, or some other natural product produced from the countryside.
Well, no! This single mother dedicated herself to none other than raising insects (locusts or grasshoppers) as raw material for processing flour for human and animal consumption.
From here, I could already tell that something was wrong with this woman's mind; however, it was just the beginning of a series of atypical events.
Since the business wasn't working out, the woman continually suffered the ravages of the family's systematic crisis, which transformed her into a strange and silent being.
Confined and antisocial, she immersed herself in her laboratory with insect larvae, trying to improve her experiment.
Meanwhile, her family fell apart. And despite her children's pleas to sell the farm and move to the city to start a new life, she refused, persisting with her ambitious project.
After several failed attempts and extremely low sales, the family economy was at rock bottom and the woman was on the verge of collapse, so she experimented with feeding her creatures blood.
Mi opinión personal
La joven madre llamada "Virginie" ocupa la mayoría del tiempo tratando de propulsar su negocio en la granja. Dado la austeridad en la que se encuentra producto de la mala racha económica, sin darse cuenta, descuida la atención de sus dos hijos, un niño de once años de edad y una adolescente de quince.
Quedé impresionado al descubrir que el emprendimiento de la madre se trataba de un oficio poco convencional.
Tal vez, cualquiera llegaría a imaginar que se trataba de la venta de ganado, leche, huevos, frutas, pasto o algún otro rubro natural producto del campo.
¡Pues no¡, esta madre soltera se dedicaba nada más y nada menos que a la cría de insectos (Langostas o saltamontes) como materia prima, para el procesamiento de harinas de consumo humano y animal.
Desde aquí, ya pude notar que algo no andaba bien en la cabeza de esta mujer, sin embargo, apenas fue el principio del desencadenamiento de una serie de sucesos atípicos.
Dado que el negocio no surgía, la mujer sufre continuamente los desmanes de la crisis familiar y sistemática, que la trasforma en un ser extraño y silente.
Confinada y antisocial, se sumerge en su laboratorio con las larvas de insectos tratando de mejorar su experimento.
Entretanto, su familia se cae a pedazos. Y por más que sus hijos le ruegan que pueda vender la granja y mudarse a la ciudad para iniciar una nueva vida, ella se niega, persistiendo en su ambicioso proyecto.
Luego de varios intentos fracasados y con ventas exageradamente bajas la economía familiar llegaba al suelo y la mujer al borde del colapso, experimenta con alimentar a las criaturas con sangre.

Noticing the results, the insects quickly thrive on this type of food, the woman fortuitously proceeds to feed them animal meat. First, a ram, and later, a dog.
From here on, everything turns into a morbid and absurd film, which may offend the sensibilities of some sensitive viewers.
However, the quality of the film remains intact, daring to say that it arouses infinite curiosity and places the viewer on the edge of the most disturbing suspense.
By this point, the insects had mutated, becoming carnivores. Atrocious creatures in search of new prey—at first, a prey provided by their own breeder, but later, in the form of a swarm, they would seek to feed themselves.
At its most gruesome, the flesh-hungry creatures, reproducing disproportionately, claim the lives of several people.
To add to the perversity and madness, the woman, immersed in the excesses of madness, ends up feeding the lobsters, little by little, with her own body. This leads to her physical fragility and progressive deterioration, to the point of becoming cadaverous.
This twist in the film's plot unfolds alongside family events, where we see that the mentally ill protagonist has a stubborn fixation on the farm, driven by the need to get ahead and not decline again.
However, the way she flagellates herself, turning herself into a secret and unforgivable criminal simply for capriciously dedicating herself to this sinister experimentation with lobster farming, is brutal.
Al notar, los resultados de que éstas prosperan rápidamente con ese tipo de alimentación. La mujer procede de manera fortuita a alimentarlas con carne de animales. La primera vez con un carnero. Posteriormente con un perro.
De aquí en adelante todo incurre en un film morboso y descabellado, el cual puede herir la sensibilidad de algunos espectadores susceptibles.
No obstante, la calidad de la película se mantiene intacta, atreviéndome a decir que despierta la infinita curiosidad y sitúa al espectador al borde del más inquietante suspenso.
A este punto ya los insectos habían mutado convirtiéndose en carnívoros. Criaturas atroces en busca de una nueva presa, al principio, una presa proporcionada por su propia criadora, más luego, en forma de enjambre buscarían alimentarse por sus propios medios.
Llegando al punto más espeluznante, las criaturas ansiosas por la carne y reproduciéndose desproporcionadamente cobran la vida de varias personas.
Para mayor perversidad y desquicio la mujer inmersa en los desmanes de la locura termina por alimentar a las langostas, de a poco, con su propio cuerpo. Esto la conduce a la fragilidad física y al deterioro progresivo al punto de tornarse cadavérica.
Este giro en el argumento de la película transcurre a la par de los acontecimientos familiares donde se puede ver que la protagonista, enferma mentalmente, tiene una terca fijación por la granja impulsada por la necesidad de salir adelante y no volver decaer.
Sin embargo, es brutal, la manera en que ella se auto flagela convirtiéndose en una criminal oculta e imperdonable por el solo hecho de dedicarse caprichosamente a esa siniestra experimentación con la cría de langostas.

The scariest scene for me
The scariest scene for me is undoubtedly when Virginie immolates herself by entering the hatchling tent so the chicks can feed on her own body.
Completely covered, the woman lies in agony as the grasshoppers ravage her flesh.
At this point, the greenhouse has become a deadly place where nothing is safe for her or her family.
Well, equally brutal as the previous scene, the bugs attack Virginie's best friend, who, trying to help, only managed to escape to a better life due to the attack of the disproportionate cloud of grasshoppers.
La escena más aterradora para mí
La escena más aterradora para mí indudablemente es cuando Virginie se inmola a sí misma entrando a la carpa de crias para que estas se alimenten con su propio cuerpo.
Cubierta en su totalidad, la dama agoniza mientras los saltamontes hacen estragos en su carne. A estas alturas el invernadero se ha convertido en algo mortal donde ya nada es seguro para ella ni para su familia.
Pues, igualmente brutal como lo anterior, los bichos atacan al mejor amigo de Virginie quien intentando ayudar solo logró pasar a mejor vida debido al ataque de una nube desproporcionada de saltamontes.

Final Thoughts
First and foremost, I must say it's a fascinating script. The story behind it is truly a struggle for self-improvement by a person who never gives up.
Even more so, since it deals with her family and the need to get ahead as a single mother, each character is well-crafted with very human and forgiving personality traits.
However, the heartbreaking part is left to Virginie, who ultimately descends into madness tied to her experiments and the need to protect her children.
Two boundaries that, despite trying to overcome them, she can't overcome in any way.
Pensamientos finales
Ante todo debo decir que es un guion fascinante. Así mismo, la historia detrás es realmente una lucha por la superación de una persona quenca se da por vencido.
Más aun, al tratarse de su familia y la necesidad de salir adelante siendo una madre sola. Cada personaje está bien construido con razgos de personalidad muy humanos y condescendientes.
Sin embargo la parte desgarradora se la dejaron a Virginie quien finalmente incurre en la locura atada a sus experimentos y a la necesidad de proteger a sus hijos.
Dos fronteras que a pesar de haberlo intentado, no logra superar de ninguna manera.

Me parece muy interesante la película, analizándola luego de leer tu review pienso que probablemente nos quiere ilustrar lo que muchas veces ocurre con algunos padres o madres de familia, que sacrifican todo en pos de un sueño que parece no surgir, a veces incluso sacrifican su tiempo y hasta su propia salud para sacar a flote un barco de plomo, a veces es necesario abandonar a tiempo y mirar otras opciones.
Claro, tal cual usted lo dice. El gran detalle es que la madre al final ya no es dueña de sus actos logrando transformarse en un personaje siniestro e insano. Pero su intención inicial fue la de proteger a sus hijos en lo cual falló debido a su experimento fallido. Gracias por evaluar mi review @victor2356 lo valoro.
De nada, de verdad fue muy buena, analítica y completa.
