FILM PHOTOS (CLEAN VERSION)(FROM THE VAULT)

Hello Lomographers!

In my previous blog, I talked about how my film photo failures taught me something worthwhile. I've learned that the camera lens fog I experienced during my failed photo attempt was brought on by transferring your camera quickly from a warm, dry area to a cold, humid environment. Since I haven't used the camera in a while, I believe that's why the results are what they are.

So now, I want to share the cleaned version (from the vault) since I never post this anywhere even on my social media LOL.

FILM PHOTOS (SUNSET VERSION)

These images were taken in Zambales at a place called Nagsasa Cove. I really love this beach because I find the stress-free environment I'm looking for here. There is no signal here, so I can't check my social media or wait for a call from work. I always feel like I have nothing to worry about and can do whatever I want when I'm here. You can really see in the picture the peace it brings. The sunsets are also beautiful here, it's very relaxing to watch how the sun goes down and let your surroundings become dark little by little.

The film roll I used here really fit the beach film photos. I really like the result of the grains and the color combinations it gives. I think I used Fujifilm C200 to take these photos.

I shot this picture of my colleagues and me at sunset before we lit a bonfire to be ready for the dark night. Because there is no electricity here and there is only a tent for lodging.

That's why I don't have that many photos when the light goes out because I realized that it's hard to take film photos at night since it needs a lot of adjustments to have a nice photo, you need to become pro and watch a lot of videos to master the settings. Unlike the cameras today, they automatically adjust when it's dark or what. But in film, it's all manually adjusted.

The sun goes down, we prepare our dinner while the fire from the bonfire gives us the light, we even have the S'mores, which are the marshmallows that are roasted over the fire until they're gooey. It was fun until the light from the bonfire faded little by little and that made our night.

Ow, the sky is beautiful here too, since there's no light pollution, we can really see a lot of stars sparkling and shining. It was so magical.

FILM PHOTOS (HIKING VERSION)

We decided to go hiking the following day. We don't want to miss the opportunity to climb the mountain in the cove and take in the breathtaking view from above. And it's really worth it from the top, even if it's really hot and we don't have much water in our bags. Haha

If you compare my previous photos in my previous blog, you can really see the difference, though it was both beautiful in their own way. The first one is really not that good, it was foggy but looks like dreamy and aesthetic. But I really love the cleaned version. The first time I saw the cleaned version result, I was shocked that I couldn't imagine that those pictures from foggy to cleaned were both captured by the same camera.

Life is really like that isn't it? You thought you were already good at something, but believe me, there's something more in you, a cleaned and healed version of you that will produce more beautiful than you are doing now.

The shots were so pretty! Especially the one with like the brown grasses (I don't know what to call it), it looks so cinematic
