Hola amigos ultimamente tengo una fijación con las películas o series románticas, se han vuelto mi elección número uno, hace días buscan que ver me encontré con esta, la cual me dejó realmente satisfecha, antes que nada deben saber que está basada en el libro de JoJo Moyes, que lleva por título la ultima carta de amor al igual que la película, es realmente fascinante como los actores te hacen sentir y vivir su romance, al igual que sufrir con cada acontecimiento. El libro fue publicado en el año 2008 y la película en el 2021 en netflix.

Voy a contarles un poco sobre la trama, pues como ya les comente es una historia de amor, bueno en realidad no es una son dos, la historia viaja del presente al pasado, lo que más me gusta es que no te pierdes durantes los saltos en el tiempo, una periodista investiga para un artículo,mientras hace eso se toba con una serie de cartas de amor, donde se siente enganchada al instante y al mismo tiempo intrigada pues al leer las cartas se da cuenta que es una aventura amorosa, pero se pregunta quiénes serán los protagonistas de esta historia. La actriz que le da vida a esta periodista es Felicity Jones como Ellie Haworth, Shailene Woodley como Jennifer Stirling (quien es la dueña de las cartas) y Callum Turner como Anthony O'Hare (quien escribe las cartas).

The actress who brings this journalist to life is Felicity Jones as Ellie Haworth, Shailene Woodley as Jennifer Stirling (who is the owner of the letters) and Callum Turner as Anthony O'Hare (who writes the letters).

La historia de Jennifer y Anthony se desarrolla en 1965, cuando este último va a entrevistar al esposo de ésta, durante una cena el no da una muy buena imagen y para remediarlo decide invitar a cenar a la pareja de esposos, pero Stirling debe retirarse de la comida dejándolos solos, desde ese momento se inicia una amistad entre ambos, sin embargo los actores dejan ver a través de miradas la atracción que habia entre ambos. Después de varias salidas, ella toma la iniciativa de besarlo pero este la rechaza y ella se va, posteriormente el envia una carta explicando su actitud y allí se da inicio a esas cartas de amor.

Mientras de desenvuelve la historia del pasado, el presente también toma su rumbo,durante la investigación nuestra periodista conoce al caballero encargado de archivos de periódico quien se convierte en su cómplice en toda la investigación, van apareciendo sentimientos entre ambos que a ella le cuesta digerir y aceptar por que a sufrido una decepción amorosa previa, las cartas siguen apareciendo, de alguna forma se las ingenia para conseguir la dirección actual de Jenn y decide ir hablar con ella pero esta se niega hablar de lo que pasó.

Ya en este punto de la actualidad están ancianos y no están juntos, una serie de eventos desafortunados separan a estas almas gemelas y Ellie se siente en la obligación de reencontrarlos, ellos dicen no querer verlos pero sus acciones dicen lo contrario. Esta historia nos hace reflexionar sobre el matrimonio, ya que nos muestra una mujer casada que no es feliz pero que encuentra el amor, sin embargo no quiere dejar a su esposo por diferentes razones sociales, es allí donde pensamos que tiene más valor a lo largo de la vida un estatus social o el vivir con la persona que amas. También nos muestra cómo debemos dejar atrás el pasado e intentar de nuevo encontrar el amor.
