Hi to all, my name its Nahu Padilla, @nahupuku and this time Im going to show you my new art post: WAR MOVIE POSTERS Artworks - John Wick - - Pulp Art - 2025 by @nahupuku. I hope that you enjoy this artpieces. This time I don`t use IA, I use Comica App and Photoshop for give it an artistic concept and sense. My guns are replicas. I made this photos in 2020, in the pandemic, a selfie mode, and I show the original ones in May, 2021.

This was quite a complex job because in addition to creating image by image, they are also created in real life first and then recreated in the John Wick universe.

Pulp magazines (also referred to as "the pulps") were inexpensive fiction magazines that were published from 1896 until around 1955. The term "pulp" derives from the wood pulp paper on which the magazines were printed, due to their cheap nature. In contrast, magazines printed on higher-quality paper were called "glossies" or "slicks". The typical pulp magazine was 128 pages, 7 inches (18 cm) wide by 10 inches (25 cm) high, and 0.5 inches (1.3 cm) thick, with ragged, untrimmed edges. Pulps were the successors to the penny dreadfuls, dime novels, and short-fiction magazines of the 19th century. The pulps gave rise to the term pulp fiction in reference to run-of-the-mill, low-quality literature. Successors of pulps include paperback books, such as hardboiled detective stories and erotic fiction.

Entre finales del siglo XIX y la década de 1950, gran parte de la nueva novela de misterio y detectivesca se publicó por primera vez en las páginas de las populares revistas pulp. Estas revistas, como se las conocía popularmente, tomaban su nombre del papel barato de pulpa de madera en el que se imprimían sus páginas de texto.
