Today while browsing some social networks I saw a video that caught my attention, in this video they talked about a movie of an actress well known for her role in a series that has a lot of impact, so I decided to look for the movie, but I did not find it on any streaming platform, but still I decided to look for movies where this actress appeared and so I came to the movie I want to talk about today, so welcome to a new review dear friends of the community, the movie I'll talk about is called "The Voyeurs", let's start.

This movie released on September 10, 2021 is an American production that belongs to the genre of drama and erotic suspense, being an Amazon original movie that stars Sydney Sweeney, Justice Smith, Ben Hardy and Natasha Liu Bordizzo. Here we will follow the story of a couple who after moving into their new apartment realize that the windows allow them to see into the other apartments in front of them, but there is a specific one that catches their attention, something that starts as a game ends up escalating into something more.
What happens in the movie?
Let's talk a little bit about what happens in the movie, it begins with a girl in a store trying on what seems to be lingerie, but she notices that someone seems to be watching her through a window. Then we see the same girl going very excited to an apartment and she (Pippa) and her boyfriend (Thomas) have rented the place to start a new life as a couple, after both sign the contract they start this new experience as a couple, so in the evening they decide to celebrate with a small dinner in the apartment.

While both were talking you can notice the love that there is in the couple for the way they plan their future, but at one point a flash catches Pippa's attention, when she directs her gaze to the place where it comes from it is in the apartment in front of them that can be seen in its entirety through the window, Apparently they are doing a photo shoot to a model and our dear couple stays watching for a few minutes until what was a photo shoot starts to be a sex session, because the photographer starts kissing the model and this ends up getting more and more intimate, but Pippa decides that they should not spy on their neighbors, so they stop looking out the window.

Pippa puts on the lingerie she had bought at the beginning of the film, but when she goes to the bedroom Thomas is asleep, so she decides not to wake him up. The next day Pippa goes to work, here she tells her friend a little about the situation with the neighbors the night before and she comments that maybe they do it on purpose, maybe they are one of those couples who like to be seen while they are intimate. When Pippa arrives home Thomas has a surprise for her in the form of a drawing of the two of them. Pippa hangs up a gift she got at work and Thomas wonders what the neighbors are doing, so they turn their attention to the apartment and see that they are normal people like them, but at a certain point they notice that their neighbor begins to choke, so they worry and do not know what to do, they only see until the neighbor's partner helps him and they also feel a relief to see that everything is okay.
Later that night Pippa gets up for a glass of water, takes a little peek at her neighbors and notices that the neighbor's girlfriend is dating a suitcase apparently for work, Pippa stares at the neighbor and begins to feel a certain sexual attraction for him. The next day everything is normal, Pippa on the way home buys some binoculars to spy better on the neighbors and here they discover that the neighbor is being unfaithful to his girlfriend, as he is having sex with another model and this excites Pippa, so while they both watch with the binoculars the neighbor having sex, they start touching each other and having sex too while watching their neighbor, what little by little starts as a curiosity, starts to escalate into something more.

My opinion about the movie
At this point I will only talk about my opinion in order not to tell spoilers or anything that could ruin the experience of watching the movie on your own, so I will talk about what I thought of the story, I must say that the story is somewhat misleading, because with the premise that I mentioned it seems to be a movie simply about something racy, but as the film progresses we discover many nuances of other things that end up trapping and honestly I found it a very good story, I enjoyed it from beginning to end and kept me wanting to know what would happen.
I must mention that the film has a lot of eroticism, it is even something obvious since the title of the film is known, but I want to mention that it is not the main thing, it has a lot of weight in it because of the story that is told, but I consider that there comes a point where you really don't care about the nudity that appears on screen and you focus much more on the story, because as I mentioned before, they really know how to capture your attention with everything that happens, although I must say that there is no nudity every 5 minutes, I think they took good care of that so that you only see what is necessary according to the scene that is happening.

This film has a lot of drama and suspense, the fact that we follow the story of a couple who are our protagonists is that everything we see from the neighbors is a simple and plain assumption of the facts, so it is also as if we have to draw our own conclusions of the things that are happening no matter how obvious they are and this allows one to enter much to the plot because it makes it really interesting, plus you can appreciate much of the change of the plot from one moment to another, thus realizing that things are about to take a different course than we thought.
The point that I consider the strongest and why I ended up loving the movie is because of the plot twists, the movie as I describe the plot is something simple, I mean, some people are looking out the window at their neighbors and they discover that they like this more than they thought, but the plot twists are so unexpected that really the story becomes something as simple as something more complex and not because they twist the story, but because they know how to keep the direction of the viewer's attention to focus on what they want, so that then those plot twists are the ones that leave you with your eyes so open for what is happening and you did not expect, really the film is excellent.

I end by recommending the film without a doubt, it is clearly not a film for all audiences because of the nudity and erotic scenes that are appreciated, but the suspense and drama that we will find in this story is certainly something you can not miss, I would say it is a good movie to start the year, although for me it was good to finish it, but with this I mean that it is totally worth watching it, you will be surprised. El día de hoy mientras navegaba en algunas redes sociales me apareció un video que llamó mucho mí atención, en este video hablaban sobre una película de una actriz bastante conocida por su papel en una serie que tiene mucho impacto, por lo que me decidí a buscar la película, pero no la encontré en ninguna plataforma de streaming, pero aun así decidí buscar las películas donde aparecía esta actriz y así llegué a la película de la que les quiero hablar el día de hoy, por lo que sean bienvenidos a una nueva reseña queridos amigos de la comunidad, la película de la que les hablaré lleva por nombre “Los Voyeurs”, comencemos.

Esta película estrenada el 10 de septiembre del año 2021 es una producción estadounidense que pertenece al género del drama y suspenso erótico, siendo así una película original de Amazon que está protagonizada por Sydney Sweeney, Justice Smith, Ben Hardy y Natasha Liu Bordizzo. Aquí seguiremos la historia de una pareja que luego de mudarse a su nuevo apartamento se percatan de que las ventanas les permiten ver hacia los otros apartamentos frente a ellos, pero hay uno en especifico que llama su atención, algo que empieza como un juego termina escalando hacia algo más.
¿Qué sucede en la película?
Hablemos un poco de lo que sucede en la película, esta comienza con una chica en una tienda probándose lo que parece ser lencería, pero se percata de que alguien parecía estarle viendo a través de una ventana. Luego vemos a la misma chica dirigirse muy emocionada hacia un apartamento y es que ella (Pippa) junto a su novio (Thomas) han alquilado el lugar para así empezar una nueva vida en pareja, luego de que ambos firman el contrato dan por iniciada esta nueva experiencia en pareja, por lo que en la noche deciden celebrar con una pequeña cena en el apartamento.

Mientras ambos conversaban se puede notar el amor que hay en la pareja por la manera en que planean su futuro, pero en dado momento un flash llama la atención de Pippa, cuando dirige su mirada hacia el lugar de donde proviene es en el apartamento frente a ellos que se puede apreciar en su totalidad por la ventana, al parecer están realizando una sesión fotográfica a una modelo y nuestra querida pareja se queda viendo por unos minutos hasta que lo que era una sesión fotográfica empieza a ser una sesión de sexo, porque el fotografó empieza a besar a la modelo y esto termina subiendo de tono, pero Pippa decide que no deberían espiar a sus vecinos, por lo que dejan de ver por la ventana.

Pippa se coloca la lencería que había comprado al inicio de la película, pero cuando se dirige a la habitación Thomas está dormido, por lo que decide no despertarle. Al día siguiente Pippa se dirige al trabajo, aquí le cuenta un poco a su amiga sobre la situación con los vecinos de la noche anterior y esta le comenta que quizás lo hacen apropósito, quizás sean de esas parejas a las que les gusta ser vistas mientras tienen intimidad. Al llegar Pippa a casa Thomas le tenía una sorpresa de un dibujo de ambos. Pippa cuelga un regalo que le dieron en su trabajo y Thomas se pregunta sobre qué estarán haciendo los vecinos, por lo que dirigen su atención al apartamento y al ver que son personas normales como ellos, pero en cierto momento se fijan que su vecino empieza a ahogarse, por lo que se preocupan y no saben qué hacer, sólo ven hasta que la pareja del vecino le ayuda y estos también sienten un alivio al ver que todo está bien.
Mas tarde en la noche Pippa se levanta por un vaso de agua, echa un pequeño vistazo a sus vecinos y se fija que la novia del vecino está saliendo con una maleta al parecer por trabajo, Pippa se queda viendo al vecino y empieza a sentir cierta atracción sexual por él. Al día siguiente todo sigue normal, Pippa de camino a casa compra unos binoculares para espiar mejor a los vecinos y aquí descubren que el vecino le está siendo infiel a su novia, pues está teniendo sexo con otra modelo y esto excita a Pippa, por lo que mientras ambos ven con los binoculares al vecino teniendo sexo, empiezan a tocarse entre ellos y a tener sexo también mientras observan a su vecino, lo que poco a poco comienza como una curiosidad, empieza a escalar en algo más.

Mí opinión sobre la película
En este punto sólo hablaré de mi opinión para no contar spoilers ni nada que pueda arruinarles la experiencia de ver la película por su propia cuenta, así que hablaré de lo que me pareció la historia, debo decir que la misma es un tanto engañosa, porque con la premisa que les mencioné parece ser una película simplemente de algo subido de tono, pero mientras más avanza la película descubrimos muchos matices de otras cosas que terminan atrapando y honestamente me pareció una historia muy buena, la disfruté de principio a fin y me mantuvo con ganas de saber qué sucedería.
Debo mencionar que la película cuenta con mucho erotismo, incluso es algo obvio desde que se conoce el titulo de la película, pero quiero mencionar que no es lo primordial, si tiene mucho peso en la misma por la historia que se nos cuenta, pero considero que llega un punto donde realmente te da igual los desnudos que aparecen en pantalla y te centras mucho más en la historia, porque como bien mencioné antes, de verdad saben cómo captar tu atención con todo lo que sucede, aunque debo decir que tampoco es que hay desnudos cada 5 minutos, creo que cuidaron muy bien eso para que sólo se viese lo necesario según la escena que estuviese sucediendo.

Esta película cuenta con mucho drama y suspenso, el hecho de que seguimos la historia de una pareja que vienen siendo nuestros protagonistas es que todo aquello que vemos de los vecinos es una simple y llana suposición de los hechos, por lo que también es como si nosotros tuviésemos que sacar nuestras propias conclusiones de las cosas que están sucediendo por más obvias que sean y esto permite que uno entre mucho a la trama porque lo vuelve realmente interesante, además que se puede apreciar mucho el cambio de la trama de un momento a otro, dándonos cuenta así que las cosas están por tomar un rumbo diferente al que creíamos.
El punto que considero más fuerte y por lo que me terminó encantando la película es por los giros de trama, la película tal como describo la trama es algo sencillo, quiero decir, unas personas están viendo por la ventana a sus vecinos y descubren que esto les gusta más de lo que pensaban, pero los giros de trama son tan inesperados que realmente la historia pasa a ser algo tan sencillo como algo más complejo y no porque tuerzan la historia, sino porque saben cómo mantener la dirección de la atención del espectador para que se centre en aquello que desean, para que luego esos giros de trama sean los que te dejen con los ojos tan abiertos por lo que está sucediendo y no te esperabas, realmente la película es excelente.

Finalizo recomendando la película sin lugar a dudas, claramente no es una película para todo publico por los desnudos y las escenas eróticas que se aprecian, pero el suspenso y el drama que encontraremos en esta historia sin dudas es algo que no pueden perderse, diría que es una buena película para empezar el año, aunque para mí fue buena para terminarlo, pero con esto quiero decir que vale totalmente la pena verla, se sorprenderán.
