Batman: The Long Halloween - Film Review [ESP/ENG]
El Caballero de la Noche deberá enfrentar a un asesino que pondra en peligro a enemigos y amigos... "Batman: The Long Halloween"
Warner Bros. Animation junto a DC Comic siguen creyendo en los proyectos en dónde muestran las muchas historias que tienen los personajes que pertenece a esta casa del entrenamiento, después de cerrar de forma excelente una serie de films, es hora de un relanzamiento el cual comenzó desde el año pasado con el estreno del film protagonizado "El Hombre del Mañana" siendo esa historia el comienzo para un nuevo universo de historias sobre estos personajes, era de esperarse que en los próximos films veríamos las nuevas versiones de otros personajes, pero si había uno que esperaba de ver ese era al protector de Gotham, al caballero de la noche, a Batman, pero más que nada quería ver una de las historias más importantes que muestra un lado muy oscuro de la ciudad que este héroe juro proteger.

Warner Bros. Animation along with DC Comic continue believing in projects where they show the many stories that have the characters that belong to this house of training, after closing in an excellent way a series of films, it is time for a relaunch which began since last year with the release of the film starring "The Man of Tomorrow" being that story the beginning for a new universe of stories about these characters, It was expected that in the next films we would see new versions of other characters, but if there was one I was waiting to see that was the protector of Gotham, the knight of the night, Batman, but more than anything I wanted to see one of the most important stories that shows a very dark side of the city that this hero swore to protect.
"Batman: The Long Halloween" es basada en el cómic del mismo nombre estrenado en 1996, en esta historia veremos a Batman en sus comienzos como el protector de Gotham, una ciudad que todavía está bajo el dominio de criminales que no están dispuestos a desaparecer y se creen intocables, pero un nuevo justiciero aparece, uno que toma los días feriados de cada mes para asesinar a cualquiera que esté ligado a las familias criminales, es por eso que Jim Gordon, Harvey Dent y Batman, deberán unirse para detener a una nueva amenaza para su ciudad llevando todo al límite de ser héroes o al final convertirse en villanos.
"Batman: The Long Halloween" is based on the comic book of the same name released in 1996, in this story we will see Batman in his beginnings as the protector of Gotham, a city that is still under the dominion of criminals who are not willing to disappear and believe themselves untouchable, but a new vigilante appears, one that takes the holidays of each month to kill anyone who is linked to criminal families, that's why Jim Gordon, Harvey Dent and Batman, must unite to stop a new threat to their city taking everything to the limit of being heroes or in the end become villains.
Warner Bros. Animation decidió que está historia se dividiera en dos partes y creo que fue buena decisión, la primera se enfoca en la investigación sobre la serie de asesinatos y del poder de las familias mafiosas de ciudad gótica, la segunda parte vemos que la investigación sigue, pero podemos ver la caída de los emblemas de la justicia para esta ciudad y de como por forma diferente se deben levantar para por fin convertirse en lo que ya todos conocemos, esto es un punto importante en esta completa historia, a pesar de que ya varios de los personajes tienen tiempo haciendo vida en esa peligrosa ciudad, no hay duda de que este film representa un verdadero origen para muchos de ellos.
Sin ninguna duda que los protagonistas de esta historia son Bruce Wayne/Batman, Carmine Falcone y Harvey Dent, ellos tres son un claro ejemplo de cómo está ciudad los ha transformado en lo que son, empezaré por la versión inexperta de Batman, esto es algo que siempre me ha gustado en estos últimos años tanto en versiones reales y animadas vimos a un Batman ya con muchos años de lucha contra el crimen y de cómo la soledad y su juramento le ha afectado, pero en esta oportunidad todavía no ha llegado a ese punto, el cometer diferentes errores, el saber cómo actuar siendo Batman y Bruce podrá acarrear alguna derrotas a su vida y aprender de ellas es cuando nos dará la versión final de este personaje, creo que es adecuado dar introducción a este personaje en el nuevo universo mostrando a alguien que todavía debe aprender a lidiar con un mundo lleno de criminales que tienen un gran parecido a él y que solo se diferencia en saber que es bueno y que es malo; de Falcone puedo decir que es un claro ejemplo de que criminales existieron y existen en Gotham desde la aparición de Batman, alguien que es poderoso, pero sabe que sus días están a punto de terminar por la llegada del Caballero de la Noche y de un gran número de enemigos que no se rigen tal como suele hacerlo la mafia ya que ellos son los tipos de criminales que necesita esa ciudad, Falcone es un mal necesario que lamentablemente para él está llegando a su fin; ahora de Dent, solo puedo decir que es la persona que quiere hacer lo correcto, hacer el bien, pero no sabe cómo hacerlo, el sistema el cual él cree es su primer obstáculo y tal vez deba romper las reglas para alcanzar lo que él llama justicia, siempre he creído que este personaje es extraño y es un reflejo más retorcido y crudo de lo que es Batman, mostrar dos roles a la vez, la lucha en creer que se está haciendo el bien o el mal usando de justificación el dejarlo todo al azar siendo el destino el único juez para sus actos, este personaje tiene un largo y triste camino para llegar a ser quien es y para mí es junto a Batman uno de los mejores personajes en estos dos films.
Warner Bros. Animation decided to divide this story into two parts and I think it was a good decision, the first part focuses on the investigation of the series of murders and the power of the mafia families of Gotham, the second part we see that the investigation continues, but we can see the fall of the emblems of justice for this city and how by a different way they must rise to finally become what we all know, this is an important point in this complete story, although several of the characters already have time making life in that dangerous city, there is no doubt that this film represents a true origin for many of them.
Without any doubt that the protagonists of this story are Bruce Wayne/Batman, Carmine Falcone and Harvey Dent, they three are a clear example of how this city has transformed them into what they are, I will start with the inexperienced version of Batman, this is something that I have always liked in recent years in both real and animated versions we saw a Batman already with many years of fighting crime and how loneliness and his oath has affected him, but in this opportunity he has not yet reached that point, making different mistakes, knowing how to act being Batman and Bruce may bring some defeats to his life and learn from them is when he will give us the final version of this character, I think it is appropriate to give introduction to this character in the new universe showing someone who still must learn to deal with a world full of criminals who have a great resemblance to him and that only differs in knowing what is good and what is bad; of Falcone I can say that he is a clear example that criminals existed and exist in Gotham since the appearance of Batman, someone who is powerful, but knows that his days are about to end by the arrival of the Dark Knight and a large number of enemies that are not governed as the mafia usually do because they are the types of criminals that the city needs, Falcone is a necessary evil that unfortunately for him is coming to an end; now about Dent, I can only say that he is the person who wants to do the right thing, to do good, but he doesn't know how to do it, the system he believes in is his first obstacle and maybe he must break the rules to achieve what he calls justice, I have always believed that this character is strange and is a more twisted and crude reflection of what Batman is, showing two roles at the same time, the struggle in believing he is doing good or evil using as justification to leave everything to chance with fate being the only judge for his actions, this character has a long and sad road to become who he is and for me he is next to Batman one of the best characters in these two films.
No quiero pasar la oportunidad de poder hablar del diseño y la animación usada para este film, al ser un fan de la serie animada de Batman estrenada en los años 90', me gustó que el diseño de Ciudad Gótica para este film sea muy parecido al de la serie, la edificación, vestimenta, edificación, muchas otras escenas era como si se fuera hecho una nueva versión de esa serie, me gustó de que esta ciudad sea elegante y muy peligrosa a la vez, esto a pesar de mostrar un lado de la ciudad en dónde el dinero es poder y otro donde los suburbios son solitarios por los peligros que se viven día a día, esto difiere mucho de la imagen de Metrópolis vista en "The Man of Tomorrow" en dónde vemos una ciudad llena de luz y moderna, aquí es todo lo contrario y para mí es perfecto, hay muy buenas escenas diseñadas, por los momentos son las mejores de los films estrenados en este nuevo universo animado de WB y DC Cómics; mención aparte el diseños de los muchos villanos que aparecen, son muy buenos, los mejores que he visto en algún tiempo.
I don't want to pass the opportunity to talk about the design and animation used for this film, being a fan of the Batman animated series released in the 90's, I liked that the design of Gotham City for this film is very similar to the series, the building, clothing, building, many other scenes was as if it was a remake of that series, I liked that this city is elegant and very dangerous at the same time, this in spite of showing a side of the city where money is power and another where the suburbs are lonely because of the dangers that are lived day by day, this differs a lot from the image of Metropolis seen in "The Man of Tomorrow" where we see a city full of light and modern, here is the opposite and for me it is perfect, there are very good scenes designed, for the moment they are the best of the films released in this new animated universe of WB and DC Comics; The designs of the many villains that appear are very good, the best I've seen in some time.
The Long Halloween es una historia maravillosa tanto en el cómic como en este film, me gusta que se hable de Gotham como un principal personaje ya que en esa ciudad ocurre tan lamentable hechos que puede convertir al más inocente en un personaje que deba tambalearse por la delgada línea entre el bien o el mal, en muchos momentos se ve que el destino de cada uno de los que protagonizan está historia, sus decisiones y sus actos son por querer adueñarse, hacer caer o salvar esta ciudad, todos deberán enfrentarse o aliarse para sentir que hacen algo para ser importantes en un lugar en dónde solo pareciera que existe la oscuridad, esto es algo fascinante y más aún cuando el mismo Bruce Wayne deba reconocer que para salvar a todos deberá ver que no solo el ha sido víctima de los crímenes que suceden en Gótica y eso podrá enseñar que hace falta mucho más para que esta ciudad sea salvada. Espero que puedan ver estos dos films, en el próximo año saldrá una versión uniendo estas dos películas, pero tal como está hecha es perfecta; me gustó esta versión de Batman y creo que esta versión puede ser la que veremos el año que viene por parte de Robert Pattinson en donde será un héroe desde su comienzo descubriendo el pasado de sus padres y que tuvieron que hacer para tratar de ayudar a su ciudad, pero lo que también me gustó fue ver todo lo que ayudó a Nolan a realizar The Dark Knight, sin duda que este film le gustará mucho a los que son fans de la mejor película basada en personajes de cómics, por todo esto no dejen de ver estos dos Films animados de WB y DC Comics.
The Long Halloween is a wonderful story both in the comic and in this film, I like that Gotham is spoken of as a main character because in that city occurs so regrettable facts that can make the most innocent in a character who must teeter on the thin line between good or evil, in many moments it is seen that the fate of each of the protagonists of this story, their decisions and their actions are for wanting to take over, They all must face or ally to feel that they do something to be important in a place where it only seems that there is darkness, this is fascinating and even more so when Bruce Wayne himself must recognize that to save everyone he must see that not only he has been a victim of the crimes that happen in Gotham and that can teach that much more is needed for this city to be saved. I hope you can see these two films, in the next year will come out a version joining these two films, but as it is made it is perfect; I liked this version of Batman and I think this version can be the one we will see next year by Robert Pattinson where he will be a hero from his beginning discovering his parents' past and what they had to do to try to help their city, but what I also liked was to see everything that helped Nolan to make The Dark Knight, no doubt that this film will like a lot to those who are fans of the best movie based on comic book characters, for all this do not fail to see these two animated films from WB and DC Comics.

Coñoo hace un par de semanas me vi la primera parte y la verdad no me gustó mucho y soy amante de las películas animadas de DC las cuales me parecen brutales, pero en esta oportunidad la sentí un poco pesada en su trama y quiero aclarar que no soy un conocer del mundo de los Cómics. Solo que no es como las que he visto antes que resultaron más frescas y fáciles de digerir.
Tengo que ver la segunda parte y quizás tener una idea más clara y quizás uniendo las dos partes me termine de gustar.

El asunto es que la primera parte es poca acción y más trabajo de detective por parte de Batman,no tuve ningún problema porque me pareció una buena historia enfocada en un número de crímenes sin estar involucrados ninguno de los villanos habituales, pero lo que más me gustó fue lo que describo que es el batman inexperto, eso lo vemos en toda la historia.
Si eso fue lo que me chocó y no por el estilo que todos conocemos de Batman es más bien que estaba acostumbrado en las películas que he visto de mucha acción y no me había topado con una que tuviera un ritmo lento.
La película tiene un estilo visual impacable, la tengo en mi lista desde hace un tiempo pero estaba esperando el estreno de la segunda parte para verla entera. Buen post!
Espero que pueda verla pronto, es excelente film y buen complemento de la primera parte; el año que viene la estrenaran las dos películas en una como se hizo con la muerte y el reinado e Superman.
Esta animación de Batman se ve interesante, en el transcurso de mi vida he visto varias con historias muy buenas del Caballero de la Noche. La trama debe ser muy buena con un semblante diferente de los personajes.
La trama es muy buena, se acopla muy bien a lo que quieren hacer en este nuevo universo animado de los personajes de DC Comics, espero que pueda ver las dos películas y de forma seguida, así disfrutará mejor de la historia.
Todavía necesito ver esta animación. Parece muy interesante.
