"A Bad Secret Invasion" [ES - EN]
El MCU ha demostrado ser un movimiento que ha creado un gran número de fans en todo el mundo; su gran número de films han recaudados millones de dólares por quince años y creo que hasta el más incrédulo de este universo cinematográfico, nunca pensó en ver un desgaste después de la conclusión de su primer gran arco argumental y más aún cuando "Marvel Studios" decidió expandir su universo con la creación de series y miniseries enfocado en personajes secundarios; personalmente pensé que está era una idea genial y estaba motivado en ver este tipo de producciones, pero al pasar dos años y después del estreno de nueve producciones, series y miniseries, puedo decir que no hay ninguna que de manera completa sean excelente.

La miniserie de "Mrs. Marvel", fue mi anterior experiencia y no fue la mejor por muchas características negativas, tanto en producción, historia y el uso del CGI; eso junto a las malas críticas que recibió "She-Hulk", me hizo mantenerme alejado de lo que fue "Secret Invasion", pero las duras críticas que obtuvo el episodio final levantó ciertas expectativas y por eso decidí ver los seis episodios que conforman esta miniserie. Primero que nada, esta es principalmente una historia de espías y por eso es de esperar que exista conspiración, alianzas, suspenso, traición y por ser una producción dentro del MCU, también hay que esperar chistes de personajes caricaturescos o serios, no un buen uso del CGI, poco desarrollo de la historia y un apresurado final.
La producción es correcta en varios de los episodios y creo que es por lo simple de las escenografías y el poco uso del CGI, el cual se nota más en los últimos tres episodios; el maquillaje es bueno, creo que es detallista y funciona muy bien en quien interpreta a los Skrulls; las escenas de acción son muy cortas y precisas, no hay necesidad o presupuesto en hacer cosa más grande, aunque si debo decir que las resoluciones de algunas de estas escenas son caricaturescas. Esta es una historia simple y hasta puedo decir repetitiva; los motivos del villano principal son muy parecidos a los del personaje "Karli Morgenthau" de la miniserie "The Falcon and the Winter Soldier", justamente eso me pareció decepcionante; me hubiera gustado que el villano principal mostrará otros motivos y no repetir esa historia de grupo radical, extremista impulsado por el odio causado por traumas del pasado; eso en mi opinión es uno de los puntos negativos de esta producción.
The miniseries of "Mrs. Marvel", was my previous experience and it was not the best for many negative features, both in production, story and the use of CGI; that along with the bad reviews that "She-Hulk" received, made me stay away from what was "Secret Invasion ", but the harsh criticism that the final episode got raised certain expectations and that's why I decided to watch the six episodes that make up this miniseries. First of all, this is mainly a spy story and therefore it is to be expected that there will be conspiracy, alliances, suspense, betrayal and being a production within the MCU, you should also expect cartoonish or serious character jokes, not a good use of CGI, little development of the story and a rushed ending.
The production is correct in several of the episodes and I think it is because of the simple scenery and the little use of CGI, which is more noticeable in the last three episodes; the makeup is good, I think it is detailed and works very well in who plays the Skrulls; the action scenes are very short and precise, there is no need or budget to do anything bigger, although I must say that the resolutions of some of these scenes are cartoonish. This is a simple story and I can even say repetitive; the motives of the main villain are very similar to those of the character "Karli Morgenthau" from the miniseries "The Falcon and the Winter Soldier", just that I found disappointing; I would have liked the main villain to show other motives and not repeat that story of a radical, extremist group driven by hatred caused by past traumas; that in my opinion is one of the negative points of this production.
Las actuaciones me parecieron muy malas, en especial la realizada por Samuel L. Jackson; es algo extraño el trabajo de este actor que pasa de lo sobreactuado en algunas de escenas a la apatía en muchas otras, se nota poco compromiso al no explorar o demostrar algún tipo de emoción de lo que sucedía en esa mala historia; otra mala actuación es la de Ben Mendelsohn como "Talos", no hay absolutamente nada de emoción en sus escenas, es aburrido, poco convincente como líder, como padre, es impresionante lo malo que es, creo que entre su actuación y la de Jackson, me cuesta decir cuál fue peor; no quiero cerrar esta parte de la reseña sin nombrar a no solamente otra mala actuación, sino que hasta puedo decir un mal casting, me refiero a Emilia Clarke como "G'iah"; me hubiera gustado ver a otra actriz interpretar a ese personaje, alguien más joven, que exprese mejor la rabia, frustración, tristeza y soledad, alguien vulnerable, aunque con convicción y conocimiento del bien y el mal; nada de eso transmitió está actriz la cual debió tener mejor desarrollo en esta historia.

Creo que sí antes de la creación de "Secret Invasion", se realiza una encuesta en dónde se haga la pregunta sobre que personaje secundario del MCU les gustaría ver protagonizar alguna de las series o miniseries posiblemente "Nick Fury" no estaría en los primeros lugares y sé que Fury debe ser el personaje secundario más importante en el MCU, pero en mi opinión no genera ninguna emoción en el público, yo personalmente no me sentí convencido del protagonismo de este personaje en ningún momento de esta miniserie; no hubo nada que me conectara con la historia, no sentí empatía por nada y de ahora en adelante la considero lo peor del MCU porque me cuesta ver que tenga continuación o desarrollo en otras películas o series; puede ser que esté equivocado, pero si está serie es el inicio de algo nuevo dentro del MCU, se comenzó de la peor manera. Creo que este año se estrena otra serie más, si mal no recuerdo es enfocado en "Echo", personaje que hizo aparición en la miniserie de "Hawkeye" y que quiero ver porque es una historia que no estoy familiarizado, es nuevo (para mí) y sé que habrá acción, espero que haya mucha acción y no diré que sea lo último que vea del MCU, porque malas producciones siempre será un motivo aceptable para verlas.
I think that if before the creation of "Secret Invasion", a survey is made where the question is asked about which secondary character of the MCU they would like to see starring in any of the series or miniseries possibly "Nick Fury" would not be in the first places and I know that Fury should be the most important secondary character in the MCU, but in my opinion does not generate any emotion in the public, I personally did not feel convinced of the protagonism of this character at any time in this miniseries; there was nothing that connected me with the story, I didn't feel empathy for anything and from now on I consider it the worst of the MCU because I find it hard to see it having continuation or development in other movies or series; maybe I'm wrong, but if this series is the beginning of something new within the MCU, it started in the worst way. I think this year another series is premiering, if I remember correctly it is focused on "Echo", a character that made an appearance in the "Hawkeye" miniseries and that I want to see because it is a story that I am not familiar with, it is new (for me) and I know there will be action, I hope there will be a lot of action and I will not say it will be the last thing I see of the MCU, because bad productions will always be an acceptable reason to see them.
