"Hawkins, California & Russia"

En las temporadas anteriores (3 y 4), lo referente al crecimiento de los protagonistas se hizo más evidente y pienso que eso afectó un poco a la historia porque tal vez se perdió esa inocencia que en la primera temporada era una de las características positivas, de igual forma el terror y suspenso disminuyó y pienso que al no existir un villano principal en la segunda temporada hizo que decayera esta segunda parte, pero en la tercera con la existencia no de un villano, sino de varios, trajo de vuelta un poco más de emoción y hasta mejor producción en desarrollo de los personajes y de los efectos especiales, en especial de la criatura final a enfrentar; diferentes características que se podían solventar porque lo visto en la temporada anterior estrenada en el 2019 me dio esperanza que en esta cuarta parte se haría mejor las cosas y en estos primeros episodios que conforman el primer volumen, puedo decir que sí, se ha hecho un buen trabajo. En esta cuarta temporada nos encontramos que han pasado ocho meses después de todo lo ocurrido en la tercera parte; se tomaron decisiones importantes para resguardar a Eleven y Will en California y eso hizo que el grupo se dividiera; los que se quedaron en Hawkins, hablo de Mike, Dustin, Lucas, Max, Nancy, Steve y Robin, no todos son muy unidos, cada quien sigue tratando de resolver como enfrentar todo lo sucedido meses atrás y por eso solo hacen lo necesario para sentir normalidad después de perder tanto, pero ellos no son los únicos que buscan recuperar lo que han perdido, en Rusia se encuentra Hopper que después de una muy dura batalla contra la misión rusa en Hawkins, él se encuentra en la vieja unión soviética siendo un prisionero que buscará cualquier manera de regresar a su hogar y recuperar a su hija que la vida le dio.

In the previous seasons (3 and 4), the growth of the main characters became more evident and I think that affected the story a little bit because maybe they lost that innocence that in the first season was one of the positive characteristics, I think that the lack of a main villain in the second season caused this second part to decline, but in the third season with the existence of not one but several villains, it brought back a little more emotion and even better production in the development of the characters and the special effects, especially the final creature to face; different characteristics that could be solved because what we saw in the previous season released in 2019 gave me hope that in this fourth part things would be done better and in these first episodes that make up the first volume, I can say that yes, a good job has been done. In this fourth season we find that eight months have passed after everything that happened in the third part; important decisions were made to safeguard Eleven and Will in California and that made the group split; those who stayed in Hawkins, I'm talking about Mike, Dustin, Lucas, Max, Nancy, Steve and Robin, are not all very united, each one is still trying to figure out how to deal with everything that happened months ago and that's why they only do what is necessary to feel normalcy after losing so much, but they are not the only ones looking to recover what they have lost, in Russia is Hopper who after a very hard battle against the Russian mission in Hawkins, he finds himself in the old Soviet Union being a prisoner who will look for any way to return home and recover his daughter that life gave him.

Cómo dije anteriormente, las dos temporadas anteriores no son las mejores, pero los The Duffer Brothers aprendieron de sus errores y se tomaron el tiempo para poder retomar el control y desarrollar mejor la historia y pienso que por cómo terminó la anterior temporada, le dio la posibilidad de crear cierto protagonismo a cada uno de estos personajes; está idea de dividir tres principales aventuras en tres zonas diferentes es la mejor y más cuando cada una está conectada en sí con el tema principal de esta historia la cual es salvar al mundo de la maldad que cada vez se hace más fuerte en "The Upside Down"; estas tres misiones tienen como características principal ser de rescate y tal vez a una de estas misiones se le pueda anexar el de descubrir a qué se están enfrentando en esta oportunidad; esto nos da tres historias en una, tres veces más de emociones, acción, aventura, comedia y suspenso y hasta terror y es que está cuarta temporada por los momentos es la más ambiciosa de todas las realizadas.

As I said before, the two previous seasons are not the best, but The Duffer Brothers learned from their mistakes and took the time to take back control and develop the story better and I think that the way the previous season ended, gave the possibility to create some protagonism to each of these characters; this idea of dividing three main adventures in three different zones is the best and more when each one is connected with the main theme of this story which is to save the world from the evil that is getting stronger and stronger in "The Upside Down"; These three missions have as main characteristics to be of rescue and perhaps one of these missions can be annexed to discover what they are facing this time; this gives us three stories in one, three times more emotions, action, adventure, comedy and suspense and even terror and is that this fourth season at the moment is the most ambitious of all made.

Lo mejor de esta temporada (por los momentos) es el regreso del suspenso y terror; contar con un sobrenatural villano que lídere a este historia convirtiendose en un poderoso antagonista es lo que necesitaba está serie porque así se puede tener mejor interacción entre los héroes y toda la maldad que amenaza a todo el pueblo de Hawkins; algo ya se vio en la tercera temporada con la posesión de Billy, pero en esta oportunidad es mejor desarrollado y como dije con un rol más protagonico, a parte de todo eso, creo que al crear a este personaje se da la oportunidad de tomar diferentes características de otras historias e introducirlas en esta serie y es que los creadores de esta serie, son muy inteligentes a usar muchas referencias de otros.films y en esta oportunidad usaron influencias de films cómo The Amityville Horror, IT, A Nightmare on Elm Street y hasta The Silence of the Lambs; con esto no digo que el villano principal de esta historia llamado "Vecna" este al nivel de algunos de los villanos en estos films, pero su historia se presta para mostrar un homenaje a cada una de estas grandes películas aunque sea de una forma muy breve; a pesar de seguir mostrando el inevitable crecimiento de cada uno de estos personajes, sus ganas de ser algo más o de refugiarse en lo que siempre han hecho, me gusta como se ha desarrollado en estos primeros siete episodios, llegar a la.adolescencia se puede usar diferentes temas y estos podrán ser un factor que afecte amistades antiguas, nuevas o hasta pueda mejorarlas, también me.gusta que haya consecuencias para todo lo que han vivido en estas tres temporadas y cuando hablo de consecuencias me refiero a los traumas que ha creado los eventos anteriores y eso afecta de una forma directa e indirecta a algunos de estos personajes.

The best of this season (for the moment) is the return of suspense and terror; having a supernatural villain that leads this story becoming a powerful antagonist is what this series needed because this way you can have better interaction between the heroes and all the evil that threatens the entire town of Hawkins; something already seen in the third season with the possession of Billy, but this time is better developed and as I said with a more leading role, apart from all that, I think that by creating this character is given the opportunity to take different characteristics of other stories and introduce them in this series and is that the creators of this series, are very smart to use many references from other. In this opportunity they used influences from films like The Amityville Horror, IT, A Nightmare on Elm Street and even The Silence of the Lambs; with this I am not saying that the main villain of this story called "Vecna" is at the level of some of the villains in these films, but his story lends itself to show a tribute to each of these great films even if it is in a very brief way; Despite continuing to show the inevitable growth of each of these characters, their desire to be something more or to take refuge in what they have always done, I like how it has developed in these first seven episodes, reaching adolescence. I also like that there are consequences for everything they have lived in these three seasons and when I talk about consequences I mean the traumas that have created the previous events and that affects in a direct and indirect way to some of these characters.

No soy de alabar diferentes actuaciones en series o en este tipo de historias y es que se me hace difícil porque varios de los actores de esta serie han repetido la misma manera de actuar en las otras tres temporadas, por lo menos sus protagonistas principales y esto no es malo porque podemos seguir disfrutando de buenos personajes como Dustin, Steve, Nancy, Robin, Hopper y ahora Max que ha ganado gran importancia en los fans de esta serie; pienso que son los mejores personajes en esta temporada junto a la inclusión de nuevos personajes que le dan ese nuevo aire a esta cuarta parte, por ejemplo la locura, lo extrovertido y real tanto de Argyle y Eddie y lo cruel, despiadado y terrorífico de Vecna, estos personajes junto a otros tiene lo necesario para ganarse a todos los fans de esta serie porque están escritos y bien interpretado para dar al público todo por lo que fueron creados, diversión, comedia y hasta terror. Ojalá que otros personajes puedan dar lo mejor en los últimos dos episodios que restan de esta temporada y así cerrarla de una gran manera.

I am not one to praise different performances in series or in this type of stories and I find it difficult because several of the actors in this series have repeated the same way of acting in the other three seasons, at least its main protagonists and this is not bad because we can continue to enjoy good characters like Dustin, Steve, Nancy, Robin, Hopper and now Max who has gained great importance in the fans of this series; I think they are the best characters in this season along with the inclusion of new characters that give that new air to this fourth part, for example the madness, the extroverted and real of both Argyle and Eddie and the cruel, ruthless and terrifying of Vecna, these characters along with others have what it takes to win all the fans of this series because they are written and well interpreted to give the public everything for what they were created, fun, comedy and even terror. Hopefully other characters can give their best in the last two remaining episodes of this season and close it in a great way.

Está primera parte de tan solo siete episodios siendo sincero, son los que mejor están escritos en toda la serie, a pesar del fallo sobre la fecha del cumpleaños de Will que obligo a The Duffer de cambiar la fecha original que dijo Joyce, la madre de Will en la segunda temporada; me gusta como se usa las características de un film de terror sobrenatural en dónde se debe buscar el origen de una maldición para poder terminarla y en dónde cada vez más el villano se hace más poderoso y letal, me gusta que se explote el miedo y trauma de las víctimas, eso es algo muy de IT y de Freddy Krueger y que exista un lugar en donde podrá significar el origen de todo mal, una mansión embrujada, eso es genial; eso refiriéndome al uso del terror en este tema porque también está el de la acción y comedia, esto último al usar a personajes bajo el efecto de estupefacientes es una gran idea, porque debo decir que Jonathan Byers y Argyle tiene buenos momentos, aparte de ellos la interacción entre Dustin y Steve es algo que siempre me ha parecido perfecto y espero que se mantenga así hasta el final de la serie, pero en esta cuarta parte en dónde su historia está dividía en tres aventuras no puede faltar la acción y el rescate de Hopper es clara referencia de las muchas películas que vi con mi padre en dónde un grupo de amigos deben hacer lo imposible de salvar a otro amigo, compañero de combate que es prisionero de un grupo de enemigos, rusos; con esto creo que The Duffer abarcan gran parte de historias, películas de los 80' y esto es algo que siempre agradezco de esta serie porque la nostalgia es una característica muy bien implementada y pienso que eso es lo que la ha convertido en un gran éxito. Todavía faltan casi 4 horas de historia para cerrar esta nueva temporada, dos episodios que parece que serán más grandes (en producción) de todo lo que se ha hecho, se dice que será mejor al cierre de la tercera temporada que fue grande y al leer eso me creo expectativas sobre que sucederá, pero aparte de que harán con respecto al uso del CGI y otros efectos, mis expectativas están en como será el final y que cliffhanger habrá para lo que será el cierre de esta serie, una sola temporada queda y todavía queda saber (yo no sé) cuando será el estreno de la quinta y última parte, lo otro es saber si cada uno de esos episodios será como sucedió en esta temporada con episodios con duración extensa que podrá sentir que es exagerado, pero como dije anteriormente, pienso que el desarrollo de esta historia se hizo de mejor manera en esta Cuarte parte que para mí está al nivel (por ahora) de lo hecho en la gran primera temporada; el próximo primero de julio se termina y espero esquivar todo spoiler y disfrutar de los dos episodios restantes y así dar una opinión final de la cuarta temporada.

This first part of only seven episodes being honest, are the best written in the whole series, despite the failure on the date of Will's birthday that forced The Duffer to change the original date that Joyce, Will's mother said in the second season; I like how it uses the characteristics of a supernatural horror film where you must find the origin of a curse to end it and where increasingly the villain becomes more powerful and lethal, I like that the fear and trauma of the victims is exploited, that's something very IT and Freddy Krueger and that there is a place where it could mean the origin of all evil, a haunted mansion, that's great; that referring to the use of terror in this issue because there is also the action and comedy, the latter using characters under the effect of narcotics is a great idea, because I must say that Jonathan Byers and Argyle have good moments, apart from them the interaction between Dustin and Steve is something that has always seemed perfect to me and I hope it stays that way until the end of the series, but in this fourth part where the story is divided into three adventures, the action can't be missing and Hopper's rescue is a clear reference to the many movies I saw with my father where a group of friends must do the impossible to save another friend, a fellow combatant who is a prisoner of a group of enemies, Russians; with this I think The Duffer covers a lot of stories, movies from the 80's and this is something I always appreciate about this series because nostalgia is a very well implemented feature and I think that's what has made it a great success. There are still almost 4 hours of story to close this new season, two episodes that seems to be bigger (in production) of all that has been done, it is said that it will be better than the closing of the third season that was great and reading that I create expectations about what will happen, but apart from what they will do regarding the use of CGI and other effects, my expectations are in how will be the end and what cliffhanger will there be for what will be the closure of this series, there is only one season left and we still have to know (I don't know) when will be the premiere of the fifth and last part, the other thing is to know if each one of those episodes will be as it happened in this season with long episodes that may feel exaggerated, but as I said before, I think that the development of this story was done in a better way in this fourth part that for me is at the level (for now) of what was done in the great first season; next July 1st is over and I hope to avoid all spoilers and enjoy the two remaining episodes and give a final opinion of the fourth season.
