Black Swan ESP/ENG

Saludos queridos amigos de #CineTV. El otro día disfruté de una de las películas de ballet que más me ha gustado desde que salió, se trata del Cisne Negro. Una película que abarca drama y un suspenso psicológico de otro nivel.

Greetings, dear friends of #CineTV. The other day I enjoyed one of my favorite ballet films since it came out: Black Swan. A film that encompasses drama and psychological suspense on another level.

Soy muy fan de Natalie Portman, ella siempre me ha gustado cómo trabaja desde que la vi actuando por primera vez en aquel viejo film llamada El perfecto asesino. Desde entonces me he visto casi todas sus películas. Y es que ella me resulta tan grandiosa actriz que no me importa si la película tiene una mala trama, ella lo hace espectacular.

I'm a huge fan of Natalie Portman. I've always loved her performance, ever since I first saw her acting in that old film called The Perfect Killer. Since then, I've seen almost all of her films. I think she's such a great actress that I don't care if the movie has a bad plot; she's spectacular.

Tiene una forma especial de mostrar ternura e inocencia y a la vez malicia y picardía con mucha facilidad, pero no es sólo eso, sino que lo hace con tanta diferencia con un mismo personaje que tranquilamente puede interpretar un personaje con persodalidad doble y realmente te hará creer que 2 personas diferentes viven dentro de ella.

She has a special way of showing tenderness and innocence and at the same time malice and mischief with great ease, but it's not just that, she does it with such difference with the same character that she can easily play a character with a double personality and she will really make you believe that 2 different people live inside her.

Verla actuar en el Cisne Negro fue ver a Natalie en todo su esplendor. Y cómo no reconocerlo si fue merecedora de los 4 premios más importantes del cine como un Oscar, un BAFTA, Premios del Sindicato de Actores y un Globo de Oro por mejor actriz en esta película.

Seeing her perform in Black Swan was like seeing Natalie in all her splendor. And how could we fail to recognize it when she won four major film awards: an Oscar, a BAFTA, a Screen Actors Guild Award, and a Golden Globe for Best Actress in this film.

Sus co-protagonistas no se quedaron atrás en este film. Ver grandes estrellas de reparto como Barbara Hershey, Mila Kunis, Vincent Cassel junto a una leyenda del cine como Winona Ryder, hacen de esta película un tesoro cinematográfico, no sólo por sus actuaciones de alto nivel sino por la trama desarrollada.

Her co-stars were no slouch in this film. Starring in supporting roles like Barbara Hershey, Mila Kunis, and Vincent Cassel, alongside a film legend like Winona Ryder, this film is a cinematic treasure, not only for its high-caliber performances but also for its well-developed plot.

Ver a esta chica llamada Nina, llendo por el mundo de manera insegura e inocente por no tener otro estilo de vida que el ballet. Literalmente fue ver a un personaje que iba del ballet a su casa y de su casa al ballet. Vivía y respiraba la danza a través de este estilo, nada más ni nada menos.

Watching this girl named Nina, naively and insecurely moving through the world because she had no other lifestyle than ballet. It was literally like watching a character who went from ballet to her home and from her home to ballet. She lived and breathed dance through this style, nothing more, nothing less.

Y ver cómo poco a poco Nina va cambiando su forma de ser al tener sólo un poco de libertad, al darse cuenta que el mundo es más que sólo bailar, pero lamentablemente su madre ha sido tan controladora y exigente que le causó mucho daño psicológico a esta joven que sin saberlo sólo le daba sentido a su vida por el baile.

And see how little by little Nina changes her way of being by having just a little freedom, by realizing that the world is more than just dancing, but unfortunately her mother has been so controlling and demanding that she caused a lot of psychological damage to this young woman who, without knowing it, only gave meaning to her life through dancing.

Yo me identifico con Nina en parte también por ser bailarina. Entiendo su obseción, su pasión por el baile y por luchar por un papel para estar de protagonista en el escenario. Es una situación dificil en la que hay mucha competencia y que con un toque de confianza en sí misma se puede lograr.

I identify with Nina, in part, because she's a dancer. I understand her obsession, her passion for dance, and her desire to fight for a leading role on stage. It's a difficult situation, one in which there's a lot of competition, and with a touch of self-confidence, you can achieve it.

Pero lamentablemente Nina sucumbió a la presión, no de los demás sino de ella misma a tal punto de alcanzar la perfección. Su cuerpo daba señales, igual su mente de que algo no andaba bien en ella y con todo y eso continuó hasta el final para lograr una interpretación inolvidable tanto en el escenario como en la gran pantalla. Al final, la lucha fue con ella misma, tanta presión fracturó algo en su interior que gritaba ayuda pero nadie la supo ver sino hasta que todo terminó. Hasta mi próximo post, saludos!

But sadly, Nina succumbed to the pressure, not from others but from herself, to the point of achieving perfection. Her body, as well as her mind, gave signs that something wasn't right with her, and yet she continued to the very end, delivering an unforgettable performance both on stage and on the big screen. In the end, the fight was with herself; so much pressure fractured something inside her that cried out for help, but no one knew how to see it until it was all over. Until my next post, best wishes!
