Beyond entertainment, Untamed is a series that invites us to look at the different personal dramas behind its enchanting landscapes. The secrets hidden will sooner or later be revealed. The combination of intrigue, thriller, and drama keeps us hooked until the very end.
This series tells the story of the agent (Kyle Turner) who, thanks to his experience as an investigator, discovers traces of a possible homicide near the cliffs of Yosemite National Park. As the plot unfolds, not only are the most hidden secrets revealed, but a series of situations are also brought to light that compromise not only the stability of the park, but also that of its main characters.
Regarding the development of the (6) chapters that make up this first season, personal grief was always evident. Glimpses of elements from the past were also seen as the plot unfolded, allowing the pieces to be connected. Suspense was always present, a way to capture attention from beginning to end. Each episode kept you hooked for the next.
As for the characters, to start off, the most recognized actors gave a fabulous performance, without detracting from the newer ones. In the case of Eric Bana (Kyle Turner), his performance was guided by his emotional weight, his grief, an uncontrollable, dominant man, with a deep annoyance that was evident in his wake, resentful, his performance was convincing, and his guilt for situations he couldn't avoid was evident.
Sam Neill as (Paul Souter) the chief ranger in Yosemite Park, was a man who always showed impeccable aptitude, patient, family man, exemplary, no one could ever imagine dark situations on his part, his emotional control is truly convincing. I'm a fan of her performance in Jurassic Park and also in Professor III, something different.
For me, Lily Santiago in the role of (Naya Vasquez) gave a relevant, convincing performance, adding a fresh touch to the narrative. Naya becomes Agent Turner's ally in the investigation of the possible homicide. Despite all the setbacks, she gains Kyle's trust, and together they uncover a series of events. Lily also brings with her personal drama involving her son and ex-partner, and emotions run high. It was a beautiful performance.
Rosemarie DeWitt who plays the role of (Jill Bodwin) is Turner's ex-wife, with an emotional burden that makes her unhappy with her new partner, she experiences a duel that leads her to making drastic decisions; her emotional conflict was always evident throughout the series, and she handled it excellently.
The rest of the characters complemented the entire story in a bold and compelling way, some of them influencing the main actors.
As for the settings, all were enchanting, showcasing nature in all its expression. Although the scenes were not filmed in Yosemite National Park in Los Angeles, California, aerial footage of the park was taken to make it seem more realistic. Most of the filming took place in Vancouver, Canada. The cliffs, the forest, the waterfalls, everything is spectacular. Amidst the many conflicts that unfold, the atmosphere transmits peace.
This series tries to show us different ways of facing grief, activating the protective instinct, assimilating family losses. One story marks the path to another, a past that is latent before new discoveries, but That also requires closing chapters. Grief is insurmountable, but you learn to live with that loss, with its memories, without it becoming an emotional upheaval. These approaches make this plot much more thoughtful, full of lessons, situations we can see or experience in real life, which serve as lessons to move forward.
As for me, I think it's a good series worth watching. It wasn't something I had planned because I prefer European thriller and investigation series, but while searching, I found this one that looked good. I was reading reviews of the second season and found it interesting to discover a different cast. Eric Bana is an excellent actor. I like his films. Now I enjoyed his performance in this crime-drama miniseries, which has its own unique twists. But overall, all the actors, the narrative, the plot, and the sets were brilliant. 8/10 for me.

Más allá del entretenimiento, Indomable es una serie que nos invita a mirar los diferentes dramas personales detras de sus encantadores paisajes. Los secretos que se esconden tarde o temprano serán puestos al descubierto. La combinación de intriga, trhiller con el drama, nos mantiene conectados hasta el final.
Ésta serie narra la historia del agente (Kyle Turner) que gracias a su experiencia como investigador va descubriendo rastros de un posible homicidio cerca de los acantilados del parque nacional Yosemite. A medida que se va desarrollando la trama, no solo se descubren los secretos más escondidos, también se pone al descubierto una serie de situaciones que comprometen no solo la estabilidad del parque, también de sus personajes principales.
En cuanto al desarrollo de los (6) capítulos que conforman ésta 1ra temporada, siempre se mantuvo en evidencia el duelo personal, también se dejan ver destellos de elementos del pasado a medida que se va narrando la trama, lo que permite conectar las piezas. El suspenso, siempre estuvo presente, una manera de captar la atención de principio a fin. Cada episodio enganchaba para el siguiente.
En cuanto a los personajes, para comenzar los actores de mayor reconocimiento realizaron una actuación fabulosa, sin desmeritar a los más nuevos. En el caso de Eric Bana como (Kyle Turner), su actuación fue guiada por su peso emocional, el duelo, un hombre incontrolable, dominante, con una profunda molestia que dejaba ver a su paso, resentido, su actuación fue convincente, se notaba la culpa por situaciones que no pudo evitar.
Sam Neill cómo (Paul Souter) el jefe de los guarda bosques en el parque Yosemite, fue un hombre que mostró siempre una aptitud intachable, paciente, hombre de familia, ejemplar, nunca nadie pudiese imaginar situaciones oscuras de su parte, realmente convence su control emocional. Soy fan de su actuación en Jurassic Park y también en la Profesora III, algo diferente.
Para mi Lily Santiago en el papel de (Naya Vasquez) tuvo una actuación relevante, convincente, le dió ese toque fresco a la narrativa. Naya se convierte en aliada del agente Turner en la investigación del posible homicidio, a pesar de todos los contratiempos, ella se gana la confianza de Kyle y juntos logran descubrir una serie de eventos. Lily trae consigo también un drama personal que involucra a su hijo y ex pareja, se ven las emociones a flor de piel. Fue una bonita actuación.
Rosemarie DeWitt quien actúa el papel de (Jill Bodwin) es la exesposa de Turner, con una carga emocional que la hace infeliz con su nueva pareja, vive un duelo que la lleva a tomar decisiones drásticas, siempre se notó su conflicto emocional durante toda la serie, lo manejo excelente.
El resto de los personajes, complementaron toda la historia de manera audaz, convincente, algunos con influencia en los actores principales.
En cuanto a los escenarios, todos encantadores, la naturaleza en toda su expresión, aunque las escenas no fueron filmadas en el parque Yosemite de los Angeles, California, se hicieron grabaciones áreas del parque, para que pareciera mas real. La mayor parte de las filmaciones se realizaron en Vancouver Canadá. Los acantilados, el bosque, las caídas de agua, todo espectacular, entre tantos conflictos que se desarrollan, el ambiente transmite paz.
Ésta serie trata de mostrarnos diferentes formas de enfrentar el duelo, activar el instinto protector, asimilar las perdidas familiares, una historia va marcando el camino de otra, un pasado que está latente ante nuevos descubrimientos, pero que también debe cerrar capitulos. El duelo es algo insuperable, pero se aprende a vivir con esa perdida, con sus recuerdos sin que esto se convierta en un trastorno emocional. Estos enfoques convierten ésta trama mucho más reflexiva, llena de aprendizajes, situaciones que podemos ver o vivir en la vida real, que son sirven de experiencia para salir a delante.
En cuanto a mi criterio, considero que es una buena serie que vale la pena ver, no era algo que tenía previsto porque prefiero las series europeas de trhiller e investigación, pero buscando conseguí ésta que pintaba bien. Estuve leyendo reseñas de una segunda temporada y me parece interesante descubrir una secuencia de actores en otro caso. Eric Bana es un excelente actor, me gustan sus películas, ahora disfrute su actuación en ésta mini serie de crimen y drama, que tiene sus particularidades en la historia. Pero en general todos los actores, la narrativa, la trama, escenarios, estuvieron genial. Para mí tiene 8/10.

He leído mucho acerca de esta serie. Pensé que era algo más de suspenso pero veo que no, es algo más emocional que otra cosa. Creo que a veces hace falta ver cosas así diferentes. La voy a tomar en cuenta.
