Hello, cinema fans. Today I’m bringing you a collection that’s part of the first series of specials titled “Cult Directors,” where I’ll be talking about who I consider to be the best directors out there. This time, I’ll be discussing James Cameron, one of the most prominent names in the film world thanks to his significant contributions to both the science fiction and action genres. Several of his films are considered cult classics and even masterpieces by many.
Since his filmography isn’t as extensive as that of other great directors, I decided to start by talking about his films, beginning with the earliest ones and those I’ve watched the most. As exaggerated as it may sound, James Cameron has been a part of my childhood and adolescence, deeply influencing my tastes in cinema and the science fiction genre. That’s why it wasn’t difficult at all for me to talk to you about his most famous films—which, to top it all off, are the majority of them.
I believe that anyone thinking of getting into the world of cinema—or even just curious about it—needs to be familiar with this great director’s work. That’s why I put together this collection of all the reviews of every James Cameron movie I’ve written on my Hive blog, so you can choose which movie you want to watch and start broadening your horizons a bit too. I highly doubt I’ll be updating this list for quite some time, since one of the things about Cameron is that he takes his sweet time producing his latest films.

Hoy les traigo una colección que forma parte de la primera serie de especiales titulada “Directores de Culto” donde les hablaré de los que considero yo son los mejores directores que existen. En esta ocasión tocó hablarles de James Cameron, uno de los nombres más pronunciados en el mundo del cine debido a su gran aportación tanto en el género de la ciencia ficción como también de la acción. Varias de sus películas son consideradas obras de culto y hasta obras maestras para más de uno.
Como su repertorio filmográfico no es tan grande como lo son es el de otros grandes directores, decidí empezar con él les hablé de sus películas, empezando por las primeras y más vistas por este anfitrión. Por muy exagerado que suene, James Cameron ha formado parte de mi infancia y adolescencia, influenciando muy profundamente en mis gustos por el cine y el género de la ciencia ficción. Es por esto que no me fue para nada difícil hablarles de sus películas más famosas, las cuales son en su mayoría, para más inri.
Considero que todo aquel que piense empezar en el mundo del cine o siquiera les llame la atención tienen que conocer el trabajo de este gran director. Es por eso que les hice esta colección con todas las reseñas de todas las películas de James Cameron que he hecho en mi Blog de Hive, para que ustedes puedan escoger qué película quieren ver y así empezar a culturalizarse un poco también. Dudo mucho que vaya a actualizar esta lista por un buen tiempo ya que una de las cosas que tiene Cameron es que se toma todo el tiempo del mundo para producir sus últimas películas.
