Hello, Harry Potter fans. These past few weeks have been quite magical and filled with fantasy, drama, comedy, and a touch of romance, thanks to this special feature we’ve dedicated to the Harry Potter film series. These movies have had a profound impact on me since I was a child, as I grew up watching them almost all the time. The first movies were so special that I even know them by heart, but they all hold a very special place in my heart because of everything I’ve learned and enjoyed from watching them.
Unfortunately, I’m not one of those people who’s become so obsessed with this series that I’ve read J.K. Rowling’s (the creator’s) books, but I do consider myself a fan, even though I’ve only seen the movies. Especially now that the topic of the new TV series HBO is set to premiere later this year is in the air, I wanted to share my enthusiasm for this film series with you and relive those old memories from my childhood and pre-teen years. Personally, I’m excited by the news of seeing the magical story of Harry Potter again, but in a different format and with new faces.
Whatever they end up releasing in the near future, I know it won’t compare to what Harry Potter became on the big screen at the start of this new millennium. There’s no comparison, and that’s crystal clear to me, but still, I’m excited to know that the story lives on—more than ever—for the next generation to come. I’ve already said a lot about each of the eight Harry Potter movies over the past few weeks, so I don’t have anything else to say about them. Whether you’re a fan or haven’t seen the movies yet, I hope this collection I’m sharing with you today serves as a guide.
Hola, fanáticos de Harry Potter. Estas últimas semanas han sido bastante mágicas y repletas de fantasía, drama, comedia y algo de romance gracias a este especial que le dedicamos a la saga de películas de Harry Potter. Dichas películas tienen un impacto e influencia en mí desde que era un niño debido a que crecí viéndolas casi todo el tiempo. Las primeras películas fueron tan especiales que hasta me las sé de memoria, pero todas tienen un lugar muy especial en mi corazón debido a todo lo que he aprendido y he disfrutado viéndolas.
Lamentablemente no soy de los que se han obsesionado tanto con esta saga como para leerse los libros de J.K. Rowling (la creadora), pero sí me considero un fanático, aunque solamente me haya visto las películas. Justamente en estas épocas cuando el tema de la nueva serie de televisión que HBO está por estrenar a finales de este año, quise compartirles mi fanatismo por esta saga de películas y revivir esos viejos recuerdos de mi infancia y preadolescencia. En lo personal me emociona la noticia de volver a ver la mágica historia de Harry Potter, pero en otro formato y con otras caras.
Sea lo que sea que vayan a sacar en un futuro cercano, sé que no será nada comparado con lo que llegó a ser Harry Potter en la pantalla grande a principios de este segundo milenio. No hay punto de comparación y eso lo tengo más que claro, pero igual, me emociona saber que la historia sigue viva y más que nunca para la siguiente generación que viene. Ya he dicho mucho de cada una de las ocho películas que existen de Harry Potter en estas semanas, así que no tengo más nada que opinar acerca de ellas.
