Hello, everyone. January is over, and so is the first special I'm bringing you in 2026. Unlike last year, this time I won't make the mistake of dedicating an entire year to a single special or film genre. This time, I plan to vary my list of films to review a little. On this occasion, I talked about those old comedy classics that I used to watch on television when I was a child. I was fascinated by these films thanks to Jim Carrey's excellent work.

Apart from being a great comedian, Jim Carrey is an excellent actor and performer who has always impressed me with his way of working and playing complex, crazy, and incredible roles. That's why he has become one of my favorite actors when choosing a comedy movie to watch. And while we know that he doesn't only excel in this genre of humor, we can't deny that it was his charisma and natural ability to make us laugh that took him to the top of success. Even so, there's no denying that he also has a great talent for acting in dramatic, complex, and mysterious roles.

Obviously, I'm not here to give you Jim Carrey's complete filmography, I'll just mention the comedy movies I've seen that have had a big impact on my life since I was a kid. I left out some movies that, in my opinion, have nothing to do with this special because they are from different genres and franchises (such as A Christmas Carol, The Truman Show, and How the Grinch Stole Christmas). Hola a todos. Ya el mes de enero se acabó, al igual que acabamos con el primer especial que les traigo en este 2026. A diferencia del año pasado, esta vez no cometeré el error de dedicarle todo un año a un solo especial o género de películas. Esta vez pienso variar un poco mi lista de cintas para reseñar. En esta oportunidad les hablé de esos viejos clásicos de la comedia que veía desde que era un niño en la televisión. Estás cintas me fascinaron bastante gracias al excelente trabajo de Jim Carrey.

Aparte de ser un gran humorista, Jim Carrey es un excelente actor e intérprete que siempre me ha impactado su manera de trabajar y representar papeles complejos, lunáticos e increíbles. Es por eso que se ha vuelto uno de mis actores favoritos al momento de escoger ver una cinta de comedia para ver. Y si bien sabemos que no solo se destaca en este género de humor, tampoco vamos a negar que fue gracias a su carisma y manera tan natural de hacernos reír lo que lo llevó a la cima del éxito. Aún así, no hay que negar que también tiene un gran talento para actuar en papeles dramáticos, complejos y repletos de misterio.

Obviamente, no vengo aquí a traerles la filmografía completa de Jim Carrey, solo mencionaré las películas de comedia que he visto y que han marcado gran parte de mi vida desde pequeño. Descarté algunas cintas que, en mí opinión, no tienen nada que ver con este especial al ser de géneros y franquicias diferentes (como lo son el caso de A Christmas Carol, The Truman Show y How the Grinch Stole Christmas).
