Fantasmagórico, el más antiguo superheroe del comic / Golden Bat, the oldest superhero in comics.
El fantasma, (El Duende que camina), Superman, Batman. Siempre se ha tenido la duda de quién fue el primer superhéroe del comic.
El fantasma nace en febrero de 1936, Superman en abril de 1938, y Batman en mayo de 1939. La lógica nos dice que el primer superhéroe es el Duende que camina, (El Fantasma), quien se cree que ha vivido mas de 400 años, es un personaje de traje morado creado por el guionista Lee Falk.
Esto es lo que creemos en la parte occidental de nuestro mundo, pero si se retrocede más atrás en la historia, en Japón en el año 1930 ya existía un héroe que tenía poderes sobrehumanos y además usaba capa. Este procedía de la Atlántida.
Posee una carcajada sumamente estruendosa, superfuerza, podía volar y era prácticamente invulnerable. Físicamente imponía miedo ya que tenia una esquelética figura dorada fue creado por el escritor Ichiro Suzuki y el ilustrador Takeo Nagamatsu.
Ogon Bat, o Fantasmagórico como fue conocido en Latinoamérica, o Golden Bat son otros de los nombres por los cuales se conoce al personaje. Creado por Takeo Nagamatsu en 1930 contaba la historia de un antiguo héroe procedente de la Atlántida.
Sus primeras correrías se conocieron en los Kamishibai, ( teatro de papel en japonés). Es una forma de contar cuentos dirigida a niñas y niños, esta técnica se parece a un rotafolio formado por un conjunto de láminas que tiene un dibujo en una cara y texto en la otra.
Lo que se cuente allí lo hace un presentador que lee el texto que se encuentra tras el dibujo. Se deslizan las láminas en orden mientras se lee el texto.
En 1967, ya fantasmagórico cuenta con su propio anime, en el cual un arqueólogo asegura que la tierra perdida, la Atlántida, esta oculta en el continente Antártico, realiza el viaje de exploración hacia dicho lugar pero su barco es atacado por un monstruo mecanico siendo la única sobreviviente, su hija. Un científico y sus amigos viajan en una nave que asemeja un platillo volador y rescatan a la chica.

Les ocurre un problema al quedarse sin su fuente de energía, el agua dulce, por lo que buscan este recurso en una isla cercana, y se dan cuenta í que se encuentran en la misma Atlántida, en donde son atacados de nuevo por el monstruo, y corren a refugiarse en una tumba, de un príncipe egipcio el cual resulta ser Fantasmagórico. Este es revivido por la pequeña niña al esta verter agua obtenida de un pequeño pozo se une a la lucha del grupo contra el monstruo. Seguidamente, los ayuda en su lucha contra el Dr. Zero, villano que quiere apropiarse del mundo.
Recuerdo con mucho cariño que estas eran animaciones simples, con escenarios repetidos y los personajes al pasar por la pantalla movían únicamente las bocas mientras que el resto de la pantalla permanecía estática. Los villanos eran muy malos, crueles, rudos y no les importaban las personas.
Este anime en especial lo disfrute en los años 70 cuando lo pasaban en el bloque infantil en las tardes, y a veces caprichosamente en las mañanas, por Radio Caracas Televisión y en todos los capítulos pasaba lo mismo; Mary, quien trajo nuevamente a la vida al superhéroe, al encontrarse el mundo en problemas siempre decia : ¡Fantasmagórico, por favor ayúdamos!”, entonces aparecia un murciélago dorado precedido por Fantasmagorico.
Allí comenzaba la lucha del superhéroe contra el Dr. Zero, Gorgo o el Dr. Muerte. Eran 30 minutos de acción y emoción por lo menos para mi un niño de 5 años. El anime constaba solo de 52 capítulos, pero estos se transmitían sin orden una y otra vez durante casi 25 años, y si lograba encontrarlos en la televisión siempre me enganchaban, no importando la edad que tuviese.

Acompañan a fantasmagórico en sus aventuras, el Dr. Still, (científico y creador del platillo volador en el cual se transportan los protagonistas humanos), Terry, (el aventurerol hijo del Dr. Steel), Gabi, el amigo Terry, gloton, miedoso y que además levanta pesas, y por supuesto Mary.
Los villanos de la serie son: el Dr. Zero: con una cabeza cubierta y cuatro ojos con los que lanza rayos destructores, Gorgo el ayudante del Dr. Zero, siempre derrotado, y pidiendo disculpas.
Hay otros enemigos como una bruja muy fea y el Dr. Muerte quien es como la contraparte contemporánea de Fantasmagorico pero con malas intenciones.
En 1966, se realiza una adaptación live-action del superhéroe que aun no he visto. La estoy buscando por nostalgia, o talvez para reirme un poco, recordando que el film es hijo de su época.

Fantasmagórico fue el primer superhéroe japonés y también el de los comics, tal vez hoy se vea algo desfasado pero a los niños como yo que ahora sobrepasamos los 50 años como nos entretuvo. A problem occurs when they run out of their energy source, fresh water, so they look for this resource on a nearby island, and realize that they are in Atlantis itself, where they are attacked again by the monster, and run to take refuge in a tomb of an Egyptian prince who turns out to be Golden Bat. He is revived by the little girl when she pours water from a small well and joins the group's fight against the monster. She then helps them in their fight against Dr. Zero, a villain who wants to take over the world.
I remember fondly that these were simple animations, with repeated scenery and the characters moving only their mouths while the rest of the screen remained static. The villains were very bad, cruel, rude and did not care about people.
I especially enjoyed this anime in the 70's when it was shown in the children's block in the afternoons, and sometimes capriciously in the mornings, on Radio Caracas Television and in every episode the same thing happened; Mary, who brought the superhero back to life, when the world was in trouble always said: "Golden Bat, please help us", then a golden bat appeared preceded by Fantasmagorico.
There began the superhero's fight against Dr. Zero, Gorgo or Dr. Death. It was 30 minutes of action and excitement at least for a 5 year old me. The anime consisted of only 52 chapters, but these were aired without order over and over again for almost 25 years, and if I managed to find them on TV I was always hooked, no matter how old I was.

The villains of the series are: Dr. Zero: with a covered head and four eyes with which he throws destructive rays, Gorgo, Dr. Zero's assistant, always defeated, and apologizing.
There are other enemies like a very ugly witch and Dr. Death who is like the contemporary counterpart of Golden Bat but with bad intentions.
In 1966, a live-action adaptation of the superhero was made that I have yet to see. I'm looking for it for nostalgia, or maybe to laugh a little, remembering that the film is a child of its time.

Golden Bat was the first Japanese superhero and also the one of the comics, maybe today he looks a little outdated but to children like me who are now over 50 years old he entertained us. A pleasure and honor to write in the community, I hope you liked this publication a little archaeological.

Yo nunca ví Fantasmagórico, mi hermano mayor si y también le gustaba ver ese anime; cuando tuve la oportunidad de empezar a ver anime, si transmitían Capitán Centella que también la considero de la época de Fantasmagórico, pero así como dije, lamentablemente nunca la pude ver.
Muy buen dato del film live-action, tengo una misión de buscar a ver dónde puedo conseguir esa película.
Hola @nameless16. El live-action está en Youtube, y con subtítulos en español!. Capitán Centella para los japoneses era como Superman, y tengo entendido que muchos niños japoneses se lastimaron intentando imitar a este superhéroe. Gracias por pasar por acá y opinar, un gran saludo.
