The Rain - Has the World Really Ended? | Series Review [En - Es]
I seem to be going back in time, this three season series with a very intriguing plot, was one of my havens during 2020, and was very much in my thoughts. The reason is that by that time the global coronavirus pandemic was present in the world, and I wanted to enjoy a production that coupled with the situation.
Parece que estoy volviendo al pasado, esta serie de tres temporadas con una trama muy intrigante, fue uno de mis refugios durante 2020, y quedó muy marcada en mis pensamientos. La razón es que para ese tiempo la pandemia global del coronavirus estaba presente en el mundo, y quería disfrutar de una producción que se acoplase con la situación.
Don't think anything bad about me for it, maybe I was panicking because I was working at that time as essential personnel in my country, and well, at that time I started searching my Netflix account, which is very long-lived, until I found this one.
No piense nada malo de mí por ello, a lo mejor sentía pánico debido a que estaba trabajando en ese tiempo como personal esencial en mi país, y bueno, en ese tiempo inicié a buscar en mi cuenta en Netflix, que es muy longeva, hasta dar con esta.
It seems that we humans are always responsible for the various debacles, and there will always be someone malevolent who will believe he is the messiah or savior of the world. The Rain, is a Scandinavian production, and that caught my attention, because the composition of the plot, was not in the typical American environment, plus the production has a very dark, intriguing and at the same time suspenseful touch.
Al parecer los humanos siempre somos los responsables de las diversas debacles, y siempre existirá alguien malévolo que se creerá el mesías o salvador del mundo. The Rain, es una producción escandinava, y eso me llamó mucho la atención, porque la composición de la trama, no era en el típico ambiente estadounidense, además de que la producción posee un toque muy oscuro, intrigante y a la misma vez de suspenso.
Can anyone be saved? Apparently the possibility could happen, how can it happen? There are always secrets that go beyond what can be seen with the naked eye, and this is what happened in the production. The world went into debacle, and no one expected this to happen, but what is the reason for it? The title has a lot to do with such a premise, people in the plot could imagine that it was a natural or divine phenomenon, but the reality is that everything has a starting point, and that supernatural point perhaps comes from human evil itself.
¿Puede salvarse a alguien? Al parecer la posibilidad podía ocurrir, ¿cómo puede ocurrir? Siempre existen secretos que van más allá de lo que se pueden ver a simple vista, y esto, es lo que ocurrió en la producción. El mundo entró en debacle, y nadie se esperaba que esto ocurriera, pero, ¿cuál es la razón de ello? El título tiene que ver mucho con tal premisa, las personas en la trama podrían imaginar que era un fenómeno natural o divino, pero la realidad es que todo tiene un punto de partida, y ese punto sobrenatural quizás viene de la propia maldad humana.
Two Danish brothers are destined to understand each other, that kind of understanding is part of everything they have to face, can you imagine being six years in a bunker? A year would be enough to become depressed and go crazy, however, this happens with the two protagonists of the series, although dementia tried to knock on their doors did not succeed.

Apart Rasmus Andersen had a terminal illness when he was little, I must point out that the series has a very subtle touch thanks to the volatility of Lucas Lynggaard Tønnesen's performance in this character, is that to be exact Rasmus is like a dynamite, that if handled improperly can explode and sweep away everything: that's what this character is.

Aparte Rasmus Andersen tenía una enfermedad terminal cuando estaba pequeño, debo destacar que la serie tiene un toque muy sutil gracias a la volatilidad de la actuación de Lucas Lynggaard Tønnesen en este personaje, es que para ser exactos Rasmus es como una dinamita, que si se maneja de forma inadecuada puede explotar y arrasar con todo: eso es este personaje.

The Rain, tiene algo muy bueno, no lo puedo negar y es una relación extremadamente sexy entre Beatrice o la actriz Angela Bundalovic y Rasmus; un hombre que tiene seis años en un búnker y una mujer que ha enfrentado todo. Se ve muy seductora, me gustó mucho, lamentablemente esto se diluye debido a la composición de la misma trama, recuerde que en un mundo donde la vida ha perecido, quizás por un virus o algo impalpable es anormal, la cuestión, es que la supervivencia humana es lo primordial.
I liked how it was the first moment of Rasmus with Beatrice, but the unfortunate could not be avoided.... At this point I want to talk about a precise question and it is about the seasons, the first one has twelve episodes, which is very attractive because there is a visualization of the world that they could not see, the second season is a little more oriented to the maturity of Simone and Rasmus in this post-apocalyptic world and the last one about the decisions that the brothers must face, season three has a very flaccid argument, which did not match very well with the first installments, but it was according to the various aspects.
Me gustó como fue el primer momento de Rasmus con Beatrice, pero lo lamentable no se podía evitar… En este punto deseo hablar de una cuestión precisa y es sobre las temporadas, la primera posee doce episodios, que es muy atractiva debido a que existe una visualización del mundo que ellos no podían ver, la segunda temporada está un poco más orientada a la madurez de Simone y Rasmus en este mundo post-apocalíptico y la última sobre las decisiones de que deben los hermanos enfrentar, la temporada tres posee un argumento muy flácido, que no conjugó muy bien con las primeras entregas, pero si iba acorde a los diversos aspectos.

Si comparo esto con la vida real suele ocurrir, incluso me recuerda a varias personas, o producciones que he visto anteriormente donde por beneficio propio utilizas a otro ser humano por avaricia, recuerde: la avaricia no lleva a absolutamente a nada, simplemente uno debe ser lo que debe ser.

Lo que he acotado es un poco extraño en una serie donde todo va cambiando muy raramente. En primera instancia la trama juega con el hecho de que no existe comida, esto se rompe dramáticamente, y bueno, no les mentiré existe una escena muy impactante donde se debe ser lo suficientemente fuerte al ver cuerpos humanos para verterlos en una inmensa olla y servirlos en un banquete, sí, parece una de las escenas de la telenovela Doña Bárbara, escrita por Rómulo Gallegos, pero no, esto no es una novela, es una producción de suspenso donde una secta está rodeada del mal en ese mundo donde los alimentos son precarios según la composición inicial de la historia.

Nothing is eternal, nothing can remain for a long time and what is built with falsehood disappears easily. There are issues in the plot that determine this, and more with one person that changes everything in this production and she is: Sarah, role played by Clara Rosager, she, only she, is the one who moves Rasmus' emotions and causes the implosion in his relationship with Simone to lead him to the hands of the antagonist Sten or Johannes Kuhnke.
Nada es eterno, nada puede permanecer durante mucho tiempo y lo que se construye con falsedad desaparece fácilmente. Existen cuestiones en la trama que determinan esto, y más con una persona que lo cambia todo en esta producción y ella es: Sarah, papel que interpretó Clara Rosager, ella, únicamente ella, es la que mueve las emociones de Rasmus y causa la implosión en la relación de él con Simone para llevarlo a manos del antagonista Sten o Johannes Kuhnke.
I will rate this production an 8/10, and if you are interested in watching it, I hope you can enjoy it and at the same time survive so that you don't get lost due to a raindrop that consumes your skin or life as in this series.
Calificaré esta producción con un 8/10, y si estás interesado en verla, espero que puedas disfrutarla y a la misma vez que sobrevivas para que no te pierdas debido a una gota de lluvia que consuma tu piel o vida como en esta serie.

AMOOOO esta serie!! No sé si habrá salido la última temporada, pero las he visto a todas! Me atrapó tremendamente desde el principio y siempre quería más! De hecho, maratoneé en todas sus temporadas!
La trama es excelente, más allá de que a algunos les pueda parecer un tema un poco “quemado”. Además la actuación de los chicos es impecable!
Yo creo que también le daría un 8, o un 8,5!! Pero me encantó!
Esta serie es muy buena, las primeras dos temporadas poseen un concepto muy intrigante, aunque existen variaciones, la cuestión es que incluso hubo un momento que me inspiro, el tema oscuro y la forma en que ellos dos se enfrentan a los dilemas de un mundo forajido.
Tal cual, el tema post-apocaliptico puede ser un poco quemado, pero es muy interesante y más si ocurrió en plenos contextos globales. Yo quedé encantado con el personaje de Rasmus y Simone.
