I remember I think it was a Family Guy episode how they picked on Sean Connery for playing the Spaniard and how he didn't even attempt to have a Spanish accent.

😂 That's true!

The worst thing is that Connery's character wasn't even Spanish, but Egyptian, all that that settled British.

Now I must watch that episode of Family Guy.

In the film The Ten Commandments, Heston played Moses and Yul Breiner played Ramses, I think there are many examples of this practice in Hollywood.
