I wanted to like this movie but I got bored, which is strange for one of these. I think I should go back and give it another chance but I can't help but feel like all of these movies are basically the same thing over and over.

Well, if you liked Avatar, then you should like this movie too. Although, as I said in my review, all three movies do share a similar plot pattern, to be honest. But it also has its epic moments, I don't know, James Cameron knows how to develop his characters and that's what I liked most about this saga. It has its typical clichés and all, but it was entertaining, at least for me it was.
Although if we compare them, Fire and Ash is a little more epic than The Way of Water, but less so than Avatar. Although Avatar itself is a film that, in my opinion, is unsurpassed.

oh did you see the Southpark episode that explained how Avatar is basically "Dances with Wolves" but set in space?
Ehhhh... No, I don't watch South Park, to be honest, but I'll keep the comparison in mind for later. 😅
